Our 3 bedroom 2 bath home is a private home that shares a long driveway with the owners' home. The home has a full-size kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and a Keurig coffee maker with complementary coffee (please bring more pods for longer stays). There is a washer and dryer if you need to clean laundry (please bring your own detergent). Towels, extra linens, iron, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash are all provided for your convenience. We have one TV in the living room that has local channels, and we also provide an Amazon Fire TV Stick for watching Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.

The home is ideal for families, friends, or business travelers. There is plenty of parking and turn-around space. The back deck is very private and overlooks the neighbor's horses.

You might get a visit from our friendly cat, Pootie, who loves to greet our guests. There is also a good chance you will see deer and wild turkey while you are here.

We have a 43 gallon water heater. Please spread out your showers for larger parties.

The Tiny Rock House is a magical getaway surrounded by big rocks and a scenic view. This unique space makes a great landing spot with easy access to Franklin or Nashville.

It features 240 square feet of indoor space with two lofts -- one queen and the other a twin. There is also a twin day bed with a pull-out trundle on the main floor.

We are 15 minutes to downtown Franklin, 5 minutes to Arrington Vineyards, and 30 minutes to Nashville.

The Tiny Rock House sits on the back 2 acres of our property surrounded by an 8 ft tall fence, very secluded. The house gets its name from the huge boulders that surround the house on both sides. It’s a picturesque and natural setting, plenty of privacy, and still conveniently located to Franklin and Nashville.

Please note: The lofts have low ceilings. They are great for children but can feel a bit tight for adults. We recommend using the day bed on the main floor for adults who need more space. Please be extra careful climbing up and down the lofts!

Appliances include a mini-fridge, stove, toaster oven, grill, fire pit, dishes, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, and a smart TV with WiFi.

- The pond is stocked and you are welcome to walk out on the dock and to the island to fish . Please make sure children are not left unattended around the water !

The unit is part of an entire barn. Remainder of the barn is used as personal workspace that owners may periodically access throughout your stay. We will always communicate if we plan to do so. The door leading to those areas will be locked and remain so .

We do have a rooster and he is up with the sun ! A sound machine is provided for those who aren’t early risers !

This Civil War era cabin was manually reassembled in the 1970s with its original, hand-hewn logs and 3-inch-thick poplar floor boards. The original structure was part of a 40-acre tract that became the site of the current Fred J. Page High School in nearby Franklin. The structure originally housed workers on the farmland. The then football coach had it transported to his farm and used it as a summer camp for the high school football team. It was popularly known as “Coach’s Farm” in the area for a long time. 4. A sweet old pony lives in the field adjacent to this property. She can often be seen from the sunporch! Guests may enjoy her calming presence, but are not to feed her or venture into the adjacent property.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are large spaces. They share the primary bathroom which is in the adjacent hallway. Bedroom 3 has a private bathroom. All have tons of natural light (and blackout curtains for sleep!) and storage.

The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, and your hosts are close by if any needs arise!

Please enter through the door on the south side of the house, accessible from the front parking area via the wrap-around porch.

Enjoy this tranquil and historic getaway located near the road right across from Arrington Vineyards, the premier winery in Nashville’s Wine Country. A wonderful and unique two-story historic cabin with kitchen and balconies on a farm and newly planted orchard in Arrington, TN, located 30 miles from downtown Nashville.

The cabin features a master bedroom with a hand-crafted king bed and chest, constructed from hardwood sustainably harvested from fallen trees. The smaller bedroom has a twin bed with trundle pull out. The first floor includes a small kitchenette with a two-burner induction stove, small refrigerator, microwave and convection toaster for small food prep. No oven available. Also available is a washer/dryer, living and dining area with an additional half bath. There is only one shower.

Upstairs, the loft features a queen bed handcrafted with sustainably harvested cedarwood and an en-suite half bath. There is no privacy door and is at the top of the spiral staircase. The bedroom features a door to walk out to the second story balcony. Linens, dishes, coffee, and tea are provided. The private property is perfect for a small group or romantic getaways.

This Civil War era cabin was manually reassembled in the 1970s with its original, hand-hewn logs and 3-inch-thick poplar floor boards. The original structure was part of a 40-acre tract that became the site of the current Fred J. Page High School in nearby Franklin. The structure originally housed workers on the farmland. The then football coach had it transported to his farm and used it as a summer camp for the high school football team. It was popularly known as “Coach’s Farm” in the area for a long time. It has been updated to include modern amenities, including central heat and air, a kitchenette, high speed internet and TV. From one end, the stone patio overlooks the twin creeks as they merge at the footsteps of this cabin and features wrought iron furniture and a gas grill. The other end of the cabin overlooks the popular Arrington Vineyards, which features live music in the summer.

Just 30 miles from Nashville, it is centrally located between Murfreesboro and Franklin, it is close to many local historical places, shopping, restaurants, golf and hiking. It is surrounded by trees in a country setting with a balcony overlooking the creeks.

There are no common or shared areas inside the house. Guests are welcome to explore outside and enjoy the front porch, back deck, front yard swing, walking trails, 2 playsets, soccer, and basketball. There are lots of spots for relaxing. Come unwind. Enjoy the sunsets, the brightness of the moon and stars without the street lights, the sound of the frogs in the creek at night, the sound of the crickets and birds, and the sound of the passing freight train in the distance. The beautiful country views and surroundings won’t disappoint. It is very likely you will see a critter or two. Our biggest surprise so far has been a peacock.

Take a step back in time. The original outhouse used prior to the addition of in-door plumbing in the 1930s, still stands on the property today. The original smokehouse that was used for the preservation of meat still stands as well, as does the original barn.

When you arrive you will be greeted by 3 very friendly dogs. (Blackie, Brownie, and Jack) They are harmless.

Enjoy this tranquil and historic getaway located near the road right across from Arrington Vineyards, the premier winery in Nashville’s Wine Country.  A wonderful and unique two-story historic cabin with kitchen and balconies on a farm and newly planted orchard in Arrington, TN, located 30 miles from downtown Nashville.

The space
The cabin features a master bedroom with a hand-crafted King bed, constructed from hardwood sustainably harvested from fallen trees. The smaller bedroom has a twin bed.  The first floor includes a small kitchenette with a two-burner induction stove, small refrigerator, microwave and convection toaster for small food prep. No oven available. Also available is a washer/dryer, living and dining area with an additional half bath.  There is only ONE shower.

Upstairs, the loft features a Queen bed, handcrafted with sustainably harvested cedarwood and an en-suite half bath.  There is no privacy door and is at the top of the spiral staircase. The bedroom features a door to walk out to the second story balcony. Linens, dishes, coffee, and tea are provided.  The private property is perfect for a small group or romantic getaways. There are two new sofa sleepers also available in the main living room.

Multiple balconies attached for overlooking the creek and the trees. You will also find a gas grill and outdoor furniture.

NO hunting or fishing allowed at this time. This is a NO SMOKING property.  Pets considered with permission of property manager for extra $75 fee. If you bring a pet without permission, then it is a $125 penalty.

This Civil War era cabin was manually reassembled in the 1970s with its original, hand-hewn logs and 3-inch-thick poplar floor boards. The original structure was part of a 40-acre tract that became the site of the current Fred J. Page High School in nearby Franklin. The structure originally housed workers on the farmland.  The then football coach had it transported to his farm and used it as a summer camp for the high school football team. It was popularly known as “Coach’s Farm” in the area for a long time.  It has been updated to include modern amenities, including central heat and air, a kitchenette, high speed internet and TV.  From one end, the stone patio overlooks the twin creeks as they merge at the footsteps of this cabin.  The other end of the cabin overlooks the popular Arrington Vineyards, which features live music in the summer.  

Just 30 miles from Nashville, it is centrally located between Murfreesboro and Franklin, it is close to many local historical places, shopping, restaurants, golf and hiking. It is surrounded by trees in a country setting with a balcony overlooking the creeks.

In the summers you can hear live music coming from Arrington Vineyards. Wine tasting, snack food and bottle sales available there. 
Mowing and weeding schedules are set for the summer months so occasionally you will see people mowing, weeding, landscaping on the property.

You will be able to enter with a code that will be sent to you several hours before check in. Look for the red barn, red shed and red mailbox.

Other things to note
Delvin Farms is just down the road which offers organic fruits and vegetables. The closest convenience store is the Twice Daily about 5 miles away.
Also, due to the antique nature of the cabin, the windows and the fireplaces are not operable.

Located 1 mile from I-840, this home provides convenient access to Franklin, Murfreesboro, & Nashville. Locally, an 8 min drive to Arrington Vineyards, 10 mins to Nolensville, and 10 mins to College Grove.

The space
This historic farmhouse has been well loved over the last century+, serving as a place for retreat, artistic inspiration, and family. The home was even the background for a country music video in the 1990s!

Modern amenities have been added as they have become available. The home has cement-board siding with insulation, new windows, heat and air conditioning, updated electrical and modern electrical appliances. A few things to note!

1. All space available to you is on the main level. The basement is owner-access / storage only.
2. The dishwasher is apartment size and will accommodate dishes, silverware and cups. All pots/pans will need to be hand washed.
3. Septic system! Guests will need to be sensitive with what goes down the toilet and sinks.
4. A sweet old pony lives in the field adjacent to this property. She can often be seen from the sunporch! Guests may enjoy her calming presence, but are not to feed her or venture into the adjacent property.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are large spaces. They share the primary bathroom which is in the adjacent hallway. Bedroom 3 has a private bathroom. All have tons of natural light (and blackout curtains for sleep!) and storage.

The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, and your hosts are close by if any needs arise!

Barns/sheds on the property are strictly off limits. Guests have access to the main house and the yard only.

Renovated spring 2024 from the studs up this home is a great place to relax after your day of travel or visit to the area. Located a 1/2 mile off I-840 in Arrington, 25min to Historic Downtown Franklin, 20min to Murfreesboro and 45min to Nashville.

3 bedrooms, 1 bath and a sunroom that looks out on the large backyard. Comfortably sleeps 7 with a king, 2 queens, daybed. Open concept living, dining and well stocked kitchen. Rocking chairs, a tree swing and fire pit with complimentary firewood.

The space
The house sits on 1 acre with a large backyard. There is a tree swing, corn hole, soccer ball, goals and fire pit with plenty of chairs, firewood and string lights. The back patio has 2 rocking chairs as well. The driveway has plenty of space for parking.

If you bring a pet without permission, then it is a $1000 penalty.

We store our camper van there when not out exploring or we may have a car there if we are out in the van.
