Our 3 bedroom 2 bath home is a private home that shares a long driveway with the owners' home. The home has a full-size kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and a Keurig coffee maker with complementary coffee (please bring more pods for longer stays). There is a washer and dryer if you need to clean laundry (please bring your own detergent). Towels, extra linens, iron, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash are all provided for your convenience. We have one TV in the living room that has local channels, and we also provide an Amazon Fire TV Stick for watching Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.

The home is ideal for families, friends, or business travelers. There is plenty of parking and turn-around space. The back deck is very private and overlooks the neighbor's horses.

You might get a visit from our friendly cat, Pootie, who loves to greet our guests. There is also a good chance you will see deer and wild turkey while you are here.

We have a 43 gallon water heater. Please spread out your showers for larger parties.

The Tiny Rock House is a magical getaway surrounded by big rocks and a scenic view. This unique space makes a great landing spot with easy access to Franklin or Nashville.

It features 240 square feet of indoor space with two lofts -- one queen and the other a twin. There is also a twin day bed with a pull-out trundle on the main floor.

We are 15 minutes to downtown Franklin, 5 minutes to Arrington Vineyards, and 30 minutes to Nashville.

The Tiny Rock House sits on the back 2 acres of our property surrounded by an 8 ft tall fence, very secluded. The house gets its name from the huge boulders that surround the house on both sides. It’s a picturesque and natural setting, plenty of privacy, and still conveniently located to Franklin and Nashville.

Please note: The lofts have low ceilings. They are great for children but can feel a bit tight for adults. We recommend using the day bed on the main floor for adults who need more space. Please be extra careful climbing up and down the lofts!

Appliances include a mini-fridge, stove, toaster oven, grill, fire pit, dishes, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, and a smart TV with WiFi.

- The pond is stocked and you are welcome to walk out on the dock and to the island to fish . Please make sure children are not left unattended around the water !

-chickens may be out roaming during daylight hours , they usually keep to themselves and the rooster is protective of his ladies so keep your distance please .

- we have a dog who often roams the property, her name is Petty . If you aren’t comfortable with that we can plan accordingly .

Other things to note
The unit is part of an entire barn. Remainder of the barn is used as personal workspace that owners may periodically access throughout your stay. We will always communicate if we plan to do so. The door leading to those areas will be locked and remain so .

We do have a rooster and he is up with the sun ! A sound machine is provided for those who aren’t early risers !

This Civil War era cabin was manually reassembled in the 1970s with its original, hand-hewn logs and 3-inch-thick poplar floor boards. The original structure was part of a 40-acre tract that became the site of the current Fred J. Page High School in nearby Franklin. The structure originally housed workers on the farmland. The then football coach had it transported to his farm and used it as a summer camp for the high school football team. It was popularly known as “Coach’s Farm” in the area for a long time. 3. Septic system! Guests will need to be sensitive with what goes down the toilet and sinks.
4. A sweet old pony lives in the field adjacent to this property. She can often be seen from the sunporch! Guests may enjoy her calming presence, but are not to feed her or venture into the adjacent property.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are large spaces. They share the primary bathroom which is in the adjacent hallway. Bedroom 3 has a private bathroom. All have tons of natural light (and blackout curtains for sleep!) and storage.

The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, and your hosts are close by if any needs arise!

Please enter through the door on the south side of the house, accessible from the front parking area via the wrap-around porch.

Barns/sheds on the property are strictly off limits. Guests have access to the main house and the yard only.

- "The photos online were what sold me on this residence. Unfortunately, they were not accurate. The pool was full of green water and slime. The toilet in the master had a completely cracked toilet seat. The hall bathroom had no electrical outlet and that toilet moved when you sit on it. Also, there were ants in that bathroom. The outlets in the bedroom did not work. I was under the impression that we were the only individuals staying at this residence but there were others staying in an attached building."
