We welcome you to stay and enjoy our property in this spacious loft. The loft is above our detached garage with a private entrance and parking spot. We have many hiking trails out our backdoor to enjoy and are located in between Madison and Huntsville to have access to many other activities, events, work, airport, etc.
We renovated this space mostly on our own over the past 2-3 years, so we ask that you care for it as if it was your own.
The space
We are happy to start sharing this space with others! Please note that the outside of the building is still under construction, but no work will be done during your stay.
This is a 500sqft studio loft with 3/4 bathroom fully furnished with a kitchenette. If you need access to a W/D during your stay, you are welcome to use our units inside our main home. There is also a full size freezer and refrigerator in the lower part of the garage if you need more space than what the mini fridge provides. We have great outdoor spaces to enjoy if the weather is accommodating, and are happy to interact with our guests as they feel comfortable. Please note, we also have 5 children who are social and enjoy the outdoors that you may encounter during your stay with us as well. There are deer, coyotes, snakes, etc that roam our backyard, so please keep that in mind during your stay.

You will have a private entrance to the loft separate from the main garage entrance. It is a key code lock, and the code will be provided on the day of checkin

Our property has a STRICT, NO SMOKING INSIDE, NO SMOKING OUTSIDE, NO SMOKING of ANYkind on our property during your stay policy. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave immediately.

Thank you for considering our guest house as a place to stay while visiting Huntsville. The place is very cozy and has all necessary amenities. There is off street parking and your own entrance to the separate house. It is located in central Huntsville with a very short walk to downtown Huntsville. There are great restaurants downtown and always something going on, such as weekly music and movies in the park, food trucks with themed events, and farmers markets.

Further unwind by taking a relaxing stroll through the trees & past tranquil ponds, enjoying nature's orchestra & watching our horses graze in the lush green pastures.
Our cozy "Love Shack" features a queen-sized bed that sits under a vaulted ceiling & is surrounded by windows, lending to the restful feeling of sleeping on a screened-in veranda.

The kitchenette area has about everything you'd need to create romantic meals including a small refrigerator, microwave, fully-stocked spice rack, double burner hot plate, electric skillet, air fryer, rice cooker, blender, Belgian waffle maker, toaster and dual coffee maker (full-pot or K-cup: bring your own K-cups)
Seasonal fresh herbs grown in our greenhouse & farm-fresh eggs may be available for your enjoyment. You are also welcome to "shop" in our greenhouse or garden for fresh seasonal veggies. Eggs and veggies are offered as bonus and are not guaranteed.
With advanced notice & additional guest fees, we can set up a nice tent with inflatable mattress to accommodate two more adults if you’d like to have a “couples retreat” during fair weather months.

We live on the premises but privacy is very important to us (Ours & Yours) We will make sure your stay w/us will be a positive one. You are welcome to join us working in the garden or greenhouse or sitting on the covered patio of the main house as we are frequently enjoying a sunset from our porch swing.
We have a security gate at the top of our long driveway. The code will be provided before your arrival. We have ample RV or Boat parking and the circular driveway goes all the way around our house for easy maneuvering. Please stay on the gravel.
Comfy robes are supplied for your short walk to the hot tub.
Other things to note
Being conveniently located where the Tennessee & Elk Rivers converge means there is a host of water activities available to choose from. Spend your day fishing, kayaking or maybe rent a pontoon boat from the local marina. We also offer one canoe & one kayak available for rent. Delivery to & pick up from the boat launch included in daily rental.
You WILL be enthusiastically greeted by our 4 dogs but they will soon lose interest & retreat to a shady spot on the lawn. You may get a glimpse of the cats but they are less impressed by the arrival of company.
We maintain a “No Pets” policy in consideration of future guests w/pet allergies & to ensure that none of our animals are stressed by the arrival of a newcomer. Absolutely No Exceptions will be made to this policy. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fast Interstate access with no traffic light drive to Redstone Arsenal, Madison, Decatur and only a few minutes to VBCC, Huntsville Hospital, VA Clinic, UAH, AAMU. Off street parking, low step entry, Google fiber Internet, jetted tub, 75" and 55" TV, three bedrooms, 1.5 bath. no crowds or loud music allowed.
