***Please note that the host family (including three children) live in the house upstairs, so you may hear some playful noise from time to time. Coffee/Kcups were provided which made it so we didn’t have to stop by Starbucks everyday. The hosts were great at communication but my only suggestion would be the have trash be accessible via the unit. I felt bad having to leave it in the unit because we had a lot of it during our week stay. I normally would be happy to run that out. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience."

Private basement apartment with separate entrance, private bedroom with king size bed. Fully stocked kitchen with a stove, microwave, blender, refrigerator, and coffee bar. Beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. Loaded with extra amenities such as drinks, snacks, and extra toiletries. The sofa is a pull out queen. I wash everything! I wash the sofa slip cover between guests, the duvet cover, and everything else you might touch so you can feel right at home. The basement is completely social distanced. We often never even get a glimpse of our guests.

Our family of six sometimes sounds like a family of six, but we are upstairs where you cannot hear even footsteps from about 10 until 7am every day.

The space
This is the downstairs level of a split-level home—essentially a private guest suite with its own entrance through the back door, which leads through the garage. The garage is the only shared space, so you may see us there occasionally as we come and go, but otherwise the space is completely separate. We live upstairs and won’t be in your area during your stay.

Inside, you’ll find:

-A private bathroom

-A living room with a queen-size pull-out sofa bed (sleeps 2), a kitchenette, and a table that seats 4

There’s also a backyard area with a table and umbrella for hanging out. Plenty of parking is available behind the house if needed. It’s a clean, comfortable, and private space with everything you need for a relaxed stay.

We live upstairs, so we cannot guarantee complete silence. You will hear us walking around, getting ready for work in the mornings, and opening the garage door when we leave. Guests have full access to the entire downstairs suite—including the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchenette, and backyard area with the table and umbrella. The space
This listing is for the #1 Loft Room, a shared space double sided room up the steps that are off the dining room, with two separated spaces, vaulted ceiling’s and lots of natural light through large windows. One side has a single bed and a double on the other side. The shared bathroom is down the stairs in the hall. There are two sleeping spaces in the loft. One is larger than the other. We call it loft #1 and the smaller side loft #2.

The loft space has an additional A/C unit for warmer temps.

There is a partition between the sleeping spaces but not a wall.

PLEASE BE AWARE OUR PLACE IS NOT PRIVATE ENOUGH FOR HONEYMOONERS. Unit offers a door code that makes it easy for one to check in at anytime after 3pm. This spacious bathroom is stocked with lavish beauty/personal care toiletries as well as a makeup mirror and towel, hairdryer, and 100% cotton Hotel Collection towels. The executive shower features an indulgent rainfall shower head. This bathroom is also equipped with a washer and dryer, detergent, iron and ironing board.

Accommodating Living Room
The engaging living room invites you to enjoy a game of a pool or board games, unwind with your favorite movie on a 50" flat screen TV with complimentary movies/shows, or melt your stress away in a premium Brookstone full-body reclining massage chair (please note there is some slight wear and tear on the chair as just about everyone uses it!) The larger sofa can be converted into a queen-sized bed to accommodate two people, and is endowed with a memory foam mattress and the same luxury bedding as the master bedroom.

In this warm and bright kitchenette, guests can delight in a generous beverage bar that offers a wide selection of flavored coffees and teas. This kitchen boasts of the necessities to make guests feel right at home: a Keurig coffee machine, Instantpot, microwave, blender, toaster, wine and water glasses, refrigerator with ice machine, utensils and dishes.

Secluded Patio
The beautiful, exclusive patio is surrounded by a 6 foot privacy fence, offering guests a hidden oasis to relax and reconnect. A patio table with an umbrella invites you to enjoy your meal outside. Right off the patio is an exclusive guest parking space directly outside the main entrance to the suite.

The guest suite is equipped with technology including a Smart Lock keypad and high-speed WiFi.

Guest access
You will have access the guest suite and back patio. You cannot access the front or back yards, the house above the suite, or any doors that are locked or marked "no access". No street parking allowed. Please use the designated parking space for guests at the bottom of the driveway. If you need additional parking spaces please message us ahead of time and we are happy to accommodate.

Other things to note
The host family (including three children) live in the house upstairs, so you may hear some playful noise from time to time. Think of it as a little extra life and energy in the house! We hope it adds to the cheerful atmosphere of your stay. There is rarely a big disturbance because we are very conscientious of noise, but if you are looking for a silent retreat this will not be the best fit for you!

Also, since the property is only 15 minutes away from the airport, it’s possible that you may occasionally hear planes flying overhead. Occasionally our neighbors will play mariachi music, although my husband will usually walk over and ask them to turn it down!

A modern basement apartment with a private patio overlooking a beautiful, natural setting. Just twenty minutes from downtown and ten minutes from the airport.
I go all out for Christmas. Stockings, Christmas candy, a full sized tree. I love it and hope you do too!

The space
Hi!

We are a family of 6 renting out our spacious basement apartment. Sometimes we sound like a family of six (mainly footsteps during the day). We go to bed pretty early (10 or earlier) and sleep pretty late (about 8) so you’ll have a lot of quiet time! We have a dog and some indoor/outdoor cats. The cats may try to spy on you through the windows. Sorry about that! You can just close the curtains. Lol.

This space is SUPER CLEAN. My mother is a dental hygienist. I was raised being lectured about cross contamination. Everything including the duvet and sofa slipcover are laundered in a detergent containing natural enzymes to ensure maximum cleanliness between guests. Light switches are wiped down every time as well. Also, as a mother of four who will one day have grandchildren, I fear that this may be the only clean part of my house for the rest of my life. Lol. That being said, we live on 7 acres and have a lot of woods. Sometimes a small ant or spider or beetle (not cockroaches) may be seen in the Airbnb. We have a pest control service and occasionally spray ourselves, but I don’t go crazy with it because I worry about the potential harm to humans.


I really love people, and I have worked really hard to ensure you have every comfort during your stay. I stock a variety of k-cups, provide comfortable bedding, and have extra toiletries in case you have forgotten anything. I also try to make sure the bird feeders are stocked and there’s enough deer corn in the yard to attract wildlife during your stay.

I decorate for the holidays!!! December stays will have stockings and a Christmas tree and other holiday decor throughout the space.

We have a rooster. We have had him for almost 2 years. He crows in the morning. There are sound machines in the bedroom, but I’ve asked several guests if they’ve heard him when they were in bed, and they’ve all said no. You can hear him when you’re outside, though.
