The tiny house is located on our lil farm property and tucked neatly behind another home. It is conveniently located right off Highway 76 West and surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. Simplify and come see what nature has to offer. Note: this is a tiny house not a presidential suite and it can get a little cozy! Also, this tiny house is located on our property and is about 30 feet behind another home and we live at the back of the property along with another tiny house we rent. Public beach and swim access located at Timpson Cove Park. No parking at cabin available for boats and/or trailers.
2. Early check in and late check out is not available, since we are focused on making the cabin safe and clean for our guests. Late check out will incur fees!

Although just off highway 76, the cabin and its neighbors are adjacent to a large area of national forest. That plus being so close to the lake means abundant wildlife, including the occasional bear and bobcat. For this reason, we ask that no trash be left outside or inside screen porch.

Our rustic cabin is located in a peaceful, airy setting! It has front and back screened porches for additional living/dining space. And brand new central HVAC! Recently updated, this cabin has all of the creature comforts you need while enjoying nature and the laid-back mountain life. The WiFi is strong for streaming and WiFi calling. Surrounded by lovely mountains, this cabin has a relatively flat lot.
We are across the street from Lake Burton, so we are close to the water. Access to the lake can be found at the local marinas and publicly at Moccasin Creek State Park as well as the Timpson Cove Beach.
Our cabin is a 2 bedroom/2 bath (both baths on the main floor) with the second bedroom being a large sleeping loft that accommodates an additional 4. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep and have a "ladder" feel to them.
There is a TV in the great room and another in the master bedroom. Both are able to connect through Roku if you have an account for Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video/etc. YouTubeTV and Frndly are signed in and ready for you to use.
No pets please.
The neighbors are super friendly, but will leave you alone for privacy. And we are just a text or message away if you need anything.

- "What a great place to kick back and watch kick-offs on a fall football weekend. Who needs a tailgate when you have a lake view, comfortable porches, and a boathouse porch? The living area was spacious and the bedrooms were comfy. Walking distance to a marina with boat rentals, a store, and an ice cream shop!" - "Lake Burton never disappoints!! House was clean and comfortable and we had a great time with our grandkids. A few things that could have been better: - the door was a challenge to open. The digital lock required 10 digit code and it was difficult to open. No wifi was a challenge too because all the streaming services required a sign in - which required me to scan a QR code or input a code to confirm my accounts but I couldn’t sit to no WiFi Very frustrating "

- "A get away from the noise. Perfect for family time!" - "The tiny house was perfect for our annual fall trip to N. GA. It rained all weekend but we were able to be comfortable and cozy in this tiny house. It helped that the Bleu Canoe restaurant was on the property and had wonderful food. The beds were so comfy. The shower was also wonderful. Those are two of my needs when I want to relax on a trip. We enjoyed a little time at the fire pit between the rain and the area was peaceful from the moment we arrive (Friday afternoon- Sunday). Will definitely add this location to my list of places to stay when hiking and visiting the area."

Seed Cabin is steps away from the game area for guests, which includes corn hole, badminton, bocce and a communal fire pit.

The cabin is located across the street from LaPrade's Marina, which offers a variety of food establishments, boat rentals, and outfitting for water sports. Everything you need is close by at the marina, whether it's fine dining at the upstairs restaurant, a sandwich from the downstairs grill, a pizza from the onsite pizzeria, or even a visit to the ice cream shop.

Natural streams flow on each side of the property. From the front porch, you can hear the sound of the rippling water.

The cabin itself is one of the original LaPrade's cabins and the interior is furnished with both contemporary and vintage pieces as well as locally-created artwork.

Less than a mile from LaPrade's Marina and it's great dining options and less than two miles from Moccasin Creek State Park public boat ramp. Easy walking/golf cart ride.
Approximately 20-25 minutes from the amenities of Downtown Clayton.

The Fox Den Lookout is located on the main property of The Fox Den Overlook and this stand alone cottage offers bonus space with a SINGLE bed for additional guest/s staying at the main house. Cottage is perfect for a single...or for the lovebird couple to SHARE the cozy twin bed! Single air mattress and extra linens are also available.

You can unload your boat at the close-by Moccasin Cove boat ramp. Recreational opportunities abound for swimming, boating, hiking, excellent fishing and picnicking. Boat and jet ski rentals are available: call Barney at Anchorage Marina to arrange rentals.

One dog allowed - No showering of dog inside but outdoor shower is ok.

- "The tiny house, Fox Den Lookout, is adorable! The pictures are accurate and the space is cozy, warm and situated in a beautiful spot with wonderful morning sun. The kitchen is stocked with small appliances for easy meals but there are plenty of options to eat out in Clayton, or just down the street at the marina. The bathroom is larger than I expected. The tiny house does sit on a shared piece of property with the Fox Den Overlook, but the larger house is easily 200 yards away allowing for plenty of privacy. There is a trail just off the covered deck that leads to Wildcat Road which loops around and provides the opportunity for a wonderful walk/hike. My dog loved it! Some great views of the lake and beautiful homes! This tiny house is peaceful and looks out to some lovely scenery! Our friends stayed at the Fox Overlook and the views were absolutely amazing! I will be back again soon!"

This cabin has one queen bed, kitchenette, living room with pull out couch and a screened porch. There is a charcoal grill right outside and communal fire pits nearby. The property also boasts an onsite restaurant and bar, yard games such as corn hole, badminton and bocce and hiking trails. There are three lakes nearby with public access, hiking, wineries, whitewater rafting and more! Make sure to check out all our available cabins at our campground.

This 1930’s historic Fishcamp Cabin is 2 bedroom/ 1 bath and located at Bleu Canoe Campground near Lake Burton. This cabin has two full/double beds, kitchenette, living room and screened porch. Centrally located between Helen, Clayton and Clarkesville, GA. Enjoy the convienece of a restaurant and hiking trails on property. The space
This 480 sq. ft. cabin dates back to the 1930’s and includes 2 small bedrooms with full beds, 1 bath, living room, and a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There is also a spacious screened porch, parking, and charcoal camp grill. The cabin is large enough to sleep 4.

Relax and disconnect our cabins do not offer TV or WiFi, we wish to give our guests an authentic fish camp experience people enjoyed in the past. Most guests are surprised to find how happy they are not to have to worry about checking their phone 24/7! For guests that require Internet access there is Wi-Fi available in a designated area just steps from the cabin.

Plus it does not get better than this location right on the lakefront with your own private dock and patio to lounge on with your guests! You`ll see friends and families on their boats, jet skis, rafts, canoes, etc. all day everyday when the sun is shining!

In the fall/winter months, there is no better place to have nice hot cocoa and get away from the hustle and bustle of the work week.

The house is literally walking distance (only 100 yards!) from Anchorage Boat Dock for all your boat, pontoon, jet ski rental needs. You can also enjoy their lovely deli and ice cream parlor!

Lake Burton drawdown schedule 2025-2026:
September 2025 - Gradual lowering begins dropping slowly from the normal summer elevation (1865.0 elevation)
November 1, 2025 - The lake level will be reduced to a lower elevation than the typical annual drawdown to allow for ongoing modernization work at the Burton and Seed Lake dams. (1862.5 elevation and lower)
March 21, 2026 - Lake starts up gradually from 2.5+ feet down (1862.5 elevation or lower)
May 1, 2026 - The lake is scheduled to return to its normal summer pool elevation of 1865 feetl (1865.0 elevation)
