You will enter the cottage into the living space with open ceilings and all wood walls , decorated with scenery you willonly find in Lawrence county.
The living area is furnished with brand new furniture ,a gas fireplace (seasonal) , and 55 inch Roku smart tv. The open floor plan leads to the kitchen that is fully furnished with new furnishings and complete with a local , custom build Amish farmhouse table . To the left as you enter the cottage is the master bedroom with a custom built king bed ,completewith a brand new sealy mattress and 32 inch Roku smart Tv .The bathroom and washer / dryer are also conveniently located on the main level. The second floor leads to the loft and overlooks the living room and kitchen. The loft holds a full size bed ,new sealy mattress and will require climbing steps.

Enjoy drinking your morning coffee on the front or back porch, sitting in the Amish built furniture.

- "The pictures on VRBO do not adequately capture the indoor and outdoor beauty and spaces this rental offers. The inside was exceptionally clean and uncluttered as it provided all the comforts of our own home. Outside there are plenty of spaces we enjoyed while walking & taking in the country air listening to the occasional sound of a mooing cow. On the extensive covered porch, we enjoyed rockers, two porch swings, a table and chairs that we used for most of our meals so we wouldn't miss a moment of the country air. We also used Adirondack chairs that surround the fire pit and checked out the two hammocks. The homes location offered us a delightful and unique mix of the serenity of a country setting and a very short easy drive into a developing town. We enjoyed yummy restaurants and met very friendly local towns people. We checked out the Old Jail Museum and saw a plethora of antiques from the area. The volunteers there were welcoming and full of knowledge and love for their community. The restaurants we visited were: Square 40, Pat's cafe, Rick's BBQ and Strikers Steakhouse. Everything was delicious, servers and owners were attentive and friendly. Coty and his family were quickly available for any questions or concerns while offering us complete privacy on their large property. Their pooches were adorable loves, My husband wouldn't let me pack them up with the rest of our gear! We very highly recommend this VRBO, I wish I could give it 10 stars!"

Plus the washer and dryer is great for those wishing to have a longer stay. Black out curtains in the bedrooms are always loved by our guests... are so are the super soft sheets. In addition, there is a coffee house right across the street that you are sure to love!

I was able to leave all my tools in the truck in the well lit parking lot, no worries. I will book again for sure! The second bedroom is small but served it's purpose. There is no house number on the house which would be helpful. There is a number on the mailbox but a bush covered that up. We had no trouble finding the home with our GPS. The lock box is on the back door and there is ample off street parking by the back porch. If you are looking for a place to eat while staying here the Kitchen 218 is about 3 blocks away. Very good food and be sure and try their cheese fries. some of the best we've ever had.
