It was the busiest travel weekend of the year, and we picked this hotel based exclusively on availability, but what a pleasant surprise: we had a four-person room connected to the hotel Garden, which was a lush, green courtyard where my two kids eagerly ran off the hours of energy they stored up in the car. The room was comfortable, large, with separate tub and shower (a rarity in France). The staff were very kind, even playing with my kids at breakfast. The hotel was also across the street from a massive urban park that had one of the biggest play structures I've ever seen. The city centre was about 10 min walk (at most) and had ample choices for dinner. Overall, I can't imagine having picked a better location for our stopover."
