Cameron's Colonial is a privately owned home under restoration. We are located four blocks south of lake Atwood. Two blocks away from Atwood's quaint downtown business district. Just 21 minutes north, Swanson reservoir is a delight, nominated number one fishing lake in the state of Nebraska. Large and small game hunters always enjoy the abundance found in the area. Our 1905 Colonial home is turnkey, with numerous amenities. The master bedroom upstairs has an adjustable king bed, and Greek themed master bathroom. There are three more bedrooms upstairs. Queen beds in each, with a daybed in one, and twin in another. There is one full-size bathroom for these three bedrooms. In the basement you will find a bedroom with a queen bed. Another room with a twin size bed, there is no door at this time for this room. You will also find a queen size hide a bed for your use. There are three seating areas in the home allowing ample room for large get togethers. The kitchen is fully supplied with all cooking and dining necessities during your visit. The laundry room/office is stocked and ready for your use,located right off of the kitchen. The kitchen has a large 1950s O'Keefe Merritt gas range. The oven is small so an electric range has been installed in the laundry room. USB ports have been installed in all rooms. Cable and internet is supplied. There is a handicap ramp if needed. Plus plus plus, an elevator to all three floors.

- "Know this: You will be waking up early at the Coratel Inn. It’s small: 25 or so rooms on two floors open to an atrium with a pool that is basically an echo chamber. Breakfast happens in this atrium and it starts early, and you’ll know right away when people get going for the day. If a child needs to shout to mom about something at breakfast, it will be broadcast to your room and into your brain. Casual conversation is audible in your bed. When staff starts clearing tables and vacuuming the atrium, it might as well be in your room. All of this starts early. The hotel is clean enough and the staff is friendly. It’s the hotel itself that can be a problem. If you’re an early riser, great! You’ll love it. If you like to sleep in, need some extra sleep that day, stay someplace else. "

- "The town was cool. Small and quiet. The manager was friendly and the pool looked nice though we didn’t get to use it as we didn’t stay long. The room was awful overall. There was dust on everything. One of the pillows had no pillowcase and there was mascara smeared on the pillow. The shower was dirty and the bathroom door didn’t close. There was very little water pressure, but it was nice and hot. There was lime scale in the water reservoir for the little single cup coffee maker. 2/5 stars. Affordable & friendly but unkempt."

- "Nice clean room." - "No sign on the building, weeds growing in the parking lot. Lobby very dirty. Desk help was a fill-in and, while trying to be helpful, didn't have a full grasp of the duties. Two buildings, our reservation was for a room on the second level of the other building. That second level was inaccessible due to locked doors. The first floor was wide open with ceiling tiles on the floor, a leak in the ceiling, and soggy carpet. We were reassigned to the main building but the staff had forgotten the password on the machine to activate keycards. Main building's interior common area had the pool, while full of water had city notification signs saying it was closed due to violations until further notice. The entire area had a funky smell. Got keys to the new room. Not very clean, looked as if it was undergoing a remodel. Folding closet door was off the mounts and leaning against the wall. Bath and shower was missing some hardware, but worked. TV was on a dresser, but we had to move it to a sofa for the plug and cable to reach. We were not certain the smoke detectors were functional. A piece of iron stuck out from the bed frame. The chair and sofa looked as if they'd been salvaged from a dumpster. BUT, in the end, this room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very meager the first morning and nonexistent the second morning. After our check in on Friday we never saw anyone working the desk. We never got a receipt when we left. The staff we did meet were courteous and caring, bu"
