When my husband told the night manager about the situation and asked for a new room, he apologized and immediately gave a new room assignment. This cozy bungalow is located a block off the main drag through Vernon. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is roomy and airy with 9 foot ceilings. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are custom. The back bedrooms are joined by a Jack & Jill bathroom that's centerpiece is a shower with plenty of elbow room. The open plan living room/kitchen is large and comfortable. The large laundry room will also help you contain your traveling dirties. The fenced backyard with towering pecan trees is perfect for your afternoon/evening visits and your four legged family.

The washing machine was unexpectedly down when we arrived, so she gave us access to fresh towels, and she washed up and returned all of our towels and bath mats promptly every day. The location was also really good for quick access to anything we needed in town; nothing was more than about 10 mins away. This was the best VRBO experience I've had yet."

The Fern Cave, named after a hiking destination in Caprock Canyons, is a small (approximately 14’ x 18’) tiny cabin. It is a studio-style cabin, furnished with a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds. It sleeps 4 people. It has a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.

There is no kitchen or kitchen sink, but there is a compact refrigerator (smaller than a standard fridge, but bigger than a mini-fridge), microwave, coffeemaker, Roku TV, and an outdoor area with a gas grill. This cabin has a window A/C and heating unit.

A sweet border collie greeted us as soon as we arrived and we could hear cows in the distance. Come stay in the Tonkawa, located just minutes from Caprock Canyons. This vacation rental is part of a historic homestead built in 1925, updated in the 90's, but still retaining the historic charm and decor from almost 100 years ago.

It is a three-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental.

Relax in the spacious living room with fold-out sofa, loveseat, and gas fireplace. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the big-screen Roku TV with Hulu.

Spend time cooking in a fully-equipped kitchen with a seating island, or grill your favorite foods on the outdoor gas grill (propane is provided).

Wake up with complimentary coffee/tea at the coffee bar in the kitchen. Light snacks are provided as well.

Linens and towels are included.

Located on ten acres, two miles from the state park and one mile from the quaint town of Quitaque, guests are free to sit out on the front porch, walk the property, play games (badminton, tetherball, washers, tic-tac-toe), and enjoy the peace, quiet, and views of the surrounding areas.

Some outdoor spaces are shared, such as the games, waterfall, and picnic tables, with guests of the camper rental and RV sites.
