Moonlight Lullaby is located in the Twin Arch development, only 5 minutes from exit 33 off the Mountain Parkway at the Slade exit! There are many other cabins located in the development. Though Moonlight Lullaby sits at the end of the road and is tucked into the woods with no sight of the other cabins, offering a feeling of seclusion to guests.

Getting Around:
Located just 5 minutes from exit 33 at the slade exit off the Mountain Parkway. Moonlight Lullaby is close to many local attractions the Red River Gorge has to offer.

Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.

Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee.
We provide toiletries for guests such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Firewood can be bought at the Getaways to the Red shop located at the bottom of the Twin Arch hill of the development.
There is no wifi at this cabin, although cell service tends to work great at the cabin.
The cabin sits at the top of Twin Arch, which requires a steep paved road. 2WD can make it since the steepest sections are paved. Icy conditions will make this road challenging to navigate.

At the gateway of the Red River Gorge Geological Area with miles of trails and cliffs to climb, Dappled Grey is just a couple miles from the center of Stanton. Situated on a small 20 acre horse farm (adopted American Mustangs), this cabin reflects our love of horses! The huge windows, long porches and deck, creates a stunning setting to enjoy your vacation. Grill and dine out on the back deck which overlooks the wooded hillside. Relax and enjoy the spacious, private hot tub. Dappled Grey is newly built with an old world charm! With terracotta tile floors, knotty pine walls, 9ft tall ceilings, and long, shady porches with potted plants, this spacious cabin is one of a kind. Huge windows and sliding glass doors are set throughout the entire house, making it airy and bright. The lighting is absolutely magical, with the vista of the woods in all its seasonal colors filling the cabin with a sense of peace and serenity. We also have one other cabin, Larkspur, 200 feet from Dappled Grey. You have the whole cabin to yourself and the immediate parking area just outside the cabin. We are in the process of landscaping a lovely garden and yard next to Dappled Grey for you to enjoy. Feel free to watch the riding lessons (or book one!). If you'd like a short hike, follow the gravel road on our 20 acres, which goes by other cabins and follows the ridge-line. This turns into a path in the woods and joins the gravel road (this is a full loop around the property open to all our guests). Greg and I live in the red house on the property, right next door to Dappled Grey. We are always available if you text us with any question, and are happy to run over and help if there is a need. We are out and about during the day, working on our farm, training horses, giving riding lessons and planting flowers among other things. Always happy for a chat if you are so inclined, but also happy to give you total privacy as well. Country neighborhood just outside of Stanton, KY. 15 minutes away from Natural Bridge State Park and the heart of Red River Gorge. Take Mountain Parkway to the Slade exit, and access to miles of hiking trails and climbing walls. Attractions include Gorge Underground, minigolf, the Nada Tunnel, Glady Visitor Center, the Kentucky Reptile Zoo (with almost 2000 species of reptiles!) Zip lines and many more exciting things to do. While we are set in the country, we are very close to Stanton (just 5 min drive), with access to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. Please check out my recommendations in my guidebook on this app. Our driveway is a long gravel drive up a hill. All cars can make it, except in extremely icy weather. There is ample parking right in front of Dappled Grey and under the covered carport. 5 minutes from Kroger, and restaurants. Pets are welcome. We charge a $35 one time fee for EACH pet that you bring with you. We do ask you to notify us if you are bringing more than one pet as we will send you the additional pet fee through Airbnb. Bring a crate to keep your pet contained at night. We do not allow pets on the beds! Please bring charcoal and lighter if you plan to use the grill. We do not provide wood for the campfire, but you are more than welcome to gather it from our woods around!

Firewood: Many of you have inquired about firewood for the fire pit, and while we do not provide it, we encourage you to enhance your experience by bringing your own or easily purchasing some locally (many local gas stations or hardware stores sell fire wood).

- "We were in teepee #1 away from the river and it was pretty darn cool. I think it was the better location next to the woods and a little more distance away from the other teepee's. I think also not so much direct sunlight. The large fan was GREAT white noise and the site was super clean. It had been raining quite a bit before we arrived, so the humidity was high. It's hard to remove that much moisture with a portable a/c unit, but this thing got the job done. We had a very comfy night. The only downside was a little mildew at the teepee entrance on the exterior, but that wasn't a big deal. Fire pit and hammock approved, nice new decking and grill out area. Pictures on the website are true to reality. Thanks for taking such good care of the property!"

Getting Around:
Private parking at the cabin. Road that leads to the cabin is VERY steep. The steepest sections are paved while the rest is well maintained gravel. The road is passable in a compact car with 2wd during normal conditions (icy conditions make this road difficult to navigate)

Start your day enjoying the specialty soaps in the shower. Then brew a cup of coffee from the Keurig (K-cups provided), and take in the peacefulness of the porch overlooking the woods below or the coziness of the couches with the glow from the fireplace and the warmth of one of several blankets in the living room.

Meals are an event, not just a necessity! The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need to prepare a wonderful meal: pots and pans (including cast iron skillets), crock pot, toaster, blender, mixer, a variety of utensils, and glassware for every choice of drink. If you’re craving a steak or some salmon, then the gas grill on the porch is just what you’re looking for. Once you have whatever it is you’re going to eat, set a nice spot either at the table in the kitchen or at the table on the porch. In either case, use the decanter to pour a fine bottle of wine! If you’re not in the mood to make something involved, then several restaurants are a short drive away.

At the end of the day, stream a movie on the smart TV, cozy up in the chairs on the porch, stay warm and roast some marshmallows at the firepit, or soak away your troubles in the hot tub. Originally tucked away on the land, Moon Dance Cabin has been reconstructed using mainly recycled materials and upscaled with everyday glamping needs.

The space:
At 280 square feet, our unique stay offers beautiful nature views without sacrificing the luxuries of a full-size house. This little cabin is perfect for 1-4 people looking to connect outdoors.

Our tiny cabin features a cute deck that overlooks our beautiful creek, complete with a heated outdoor shower. Inside is a kitchenette built from the wood of the original construction, an indoor bathroom, and an attached private bedroom.

Moon Dance's open floor plan provides comfortable room for up to four people looking to relax and hang out in nature. The main room contains two memory foam mattresses that act as a lounging sectional by day and twin beds by night. The kitchenette provides everything you need for meal prep, such as silverware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, and mugs. You may access a fire pit behind the cabin if you need to cook anything too big for the induction plate or want to cozy up and catch a fantastic view of the stars.

(PLEASE NOTE you should be cautious when using the fire pit. If it is too windy or you do not trust yourself to light AND extinguish a fire safely...please don't make one).

Moon Dance also contains an indoor bathroom and a peaceful outdoor heated shower (leave the door open for all the nature views!).

[BE ADVISED - during the winter, the bathroom is furnished with composting toilet, not a flushing toilet. Also, the shower water heater is unavailable on days below freezing due to potential damage to the heater. There will be a hot shower and a standard flushable toilet during warmer months.]

While this cabin may be small, the adventure is mighty! Guests have access to the cabins' land, including a private trail that runs behind the glamping site and goes upstream to a woodland clearing where the creek turns and boasts a secluded waterfall. The entire property is yours to explore and enjoy!

If you like wandering under the canopy of pines, spruce, and oak, and waking up to the sound of the babbling brook, then this is the place for you. If you are the type to shy from a bug, turtle, or sasquatch, this may not be the perfect stay :P

- "Such a great spot! The cabin is located next to a stream & has a trail that takes you back to a small waterfall. It is conveniently located about 20 minutes from the Natural Bridge Resort. The cabin itself has a very cute design and is equipped with just about everything you would need. There is also a fire pit, gas grill, picnic tables, and hammock chairs. The outdoor shower was also a huge plus. At first we were not sure if it had heated water, but after contacting the property owner he told us he kept extra propane tanks on the property. We were able to change out the tank with ease and immediately had hot water. Overall, this place was incredible and we would have stayed longer if we could!"

Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.

Tall Timbers is accessible by paved road and is situated next to a stream-fed brook and so is the perfect retreat from the rigors of city life. The cabin has two stories: the first story contains the kitchen, bathroom and living room, while the second floor has two bedrooms and a master bathroom. Bedroom:There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen sized bed and the second with a full sized bed and a twin bed. There is also a full futon in the main room.

Technology:The living room has a TV which plays DVDs only. You are welcome to bring your favorite DVDs. Wifi is accessible at our main office, about 500 feet down the road from Tall Timbers.

We initially reserved and paid for a larger cabin, however it ended up being booked, so we stayed in the smallest cabin out of 3. The host provided a refund and apologized. The cabin we stayed in was wonderful. Small as described in the listing, but very nice. The open air shower was amazing, and we had hot water all weekend Only 1 complaint (which is no ones fault), there was a copperhead snake in our fire pit the entire time. I did contact the host and a reptile wrangler was sent to get the snake (after we left). The creek next to the cabin (almost underneath) is amazing and great to sleep to the sound of the water. I would definitely recommend this place to any couple who just needs to get away. There is no service for any provider, so download your music before you get here."

Peregrine Cabin is an OFF-THE-GRID (non-electric, NO internet...some cell )cabin located on 14 acres in the middle of the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Hike right out to the Martin’s Fork trailhead. Or if you’re more adventurous, find your way to the start of theAuxierRidge trails or Raven Rock. This cabin is the ultimate getaway for those wishing more comfort than camping but also wanting to be immersed in nature. YOU MUST HIKE UP TO THE CABIN. This is not for the faint of heart or out of shape and you must carry in all your gear. However, your efforts will be rewarded. Surrounded by cliff lines, located in the Red River Gorge Geological area, this is a gem of a cabin. The upstairs bedroom with a full-size bedopens to a flatroof. There’s also a queen-size pull-outcouch downstairs. If you have more than two people coming to stay there is a fee of $25 a night per extra adult over two guests.

There is one electrical outlet in the cabin. For cooking, we provide a single butane burner inside and a propane grill outside. There is a gas log stove for heating and an A/C unit downstairs. Fire pit outside for your enjoyment! Water comes from a spring to a spigot outside the door. A heavy-duty cooler is provided for food storage.There is a 3 season outdoor shower not available in the winter months due to freezing temperatures. We provide cooking pots, pans, french press for coffee and pour-over drip, plates, silverware and cooking utensils, sheets, blankets, and towels. Peregrine Cabin is located within the Red River Gorge Geological Area in the Daniel Boone National Forest. To get there you drive through the Historic Nada Tunnel, wind through the national forest, and hike into our off-the-grid cabin. Sycamore cabin is the perfect getaway. It's accessible by road, surrounded by trees, and features a small spring fed brook that you can view from the hot tub! The kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath are all on one floor, the second sleeping area is a loft and is accessible by ladder. Sycamore cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed and the loft features a full size mattress. The futon in the living room also lays down into a full sized sleeping space. The maximum occupancy is 6 adults.

The kitchen has a built in eating area which features a concrete countertop with embedded quartzite we harvested from the stream that runs alongside the cabin. There is a four burner stovetop, a dorm sized refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot and the cookware and dishes are provided. There is a handcrafted custom bench and stools for the eating nook. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower, which feature locally harvested, and aromatic red cedar. The cabin has a propane wall heater for the winter and air conditioning for the summer.

Located on the edge of Red River Gorge Geological Area in 20 acres of peaceful woodland and rolling hills, our little hobby farm has the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. Wake up in our quaint English-styled cottage to see our two mustangs grazing in the field, birds at the porch feeders, and all the flowers blooming in the garden . Enjoy the hot tub! It's just 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park and 5 minutes from Stanton for shops and restaurants.

Larkspur Cabin has two covered porches. The front porch with a love seat and two chairs, overlooks a large lawn, fire pit and the riding ring. We have free-range chickens!

The private and secluded side deck has a 4 person hot tub.

In the summer, enjoy the perennial garden with butterfly bushes and roses. Take advantage of the outdoors on beautiful days with a campfire and charcoal grill. There is plenty of private parking space next to the cottage. The cottage is set 300 ft away from the main house (where we live) and 200 feet from Dappled Grey, the other cabin on our property. A barn separates the cabin from the house, adding more privacy and seclusion for our guests. Feel free to hike the gravel road and forest path to make a loop around our 20 acres.

The entirety of Larkspur Cabin is solely for guest use. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn, grill and bonfire area outside the cottage.

Greg and I travel a great deal, but if we are home, we are happy to chat with you if you so desire!

We are located in a country neighborhood just outside of Stanton, KY. 15 minutes away from Natural Bridge State Park and the heart of Red River Gorge. Take Mountain Parkway to the Slade exit, and access to miles of hiking trails and climbing walls. Attractions include Gorge Underground, minigolf, the Nada Tunnel, Glady Visitor Center, the Kentucky Reptile Zoo (with almost 2000 species of reptiles!) Zip lines and many more exciting things to do. While we are set in the country, we are very close to Stanton (just 5 min drive), with access to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. Welcome to Blackbird Cabin! Enjoy a modern, well-appointed cabin in the heart of the RRG. This newly built cabin sits fluidly with its surroundings, in the middle of the unique landscape that is the Red River Gorge. The inside is crisp, clean and well-appointed for cooking and gathering with friends and family.

The outdoor space boasts many amenities including an outdoor shower, hot tub, bistro lights, smokeless firepit, hammock, charcoal grill and a 10ft accordion door to bring the outdoors in!

The space:

The Space is modern, well decorated, with high ceilings and original artwork. It has two tidy queen bedrooms with twin trundle beds that pull out from underneath. The living area is communal with a generously sized TV and an electric fireplace. The dining area consists of seating for six with the option to open the exterior wall of doors to the outside! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. In the mornings enjoy three options for brewing coffee and in the evenings enjoy the bistro lighting on the back porch.

Kitchen- The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, toaster, plates, and drinkware. Potholders and kitchen towels are provided. The tap water is safe to drink but there is also a water filter pitcher in the full sized fridge as well. There is a bar with three bar-stools.

Living Room-A couch and sitting area that overlooks the kitchen, television and electric fireplace.

Bedrooms- There are two bedrooms each with a queen bed and a twin trundle bed.

Technology- There is wifi! There is a TV that can be used to stream any subscription services you may have (there is no cable television)

Parking- There are two spots at the bottom of the driveway for parking. The driveway is steep but a car with 4 wheel drive can park at the top.

Bathroom- One full bathroom with a sliding glass door shower.

Firewood is also available upon request. For $25 we will deliver firewood to your fire pit. Please be sure to mark on your reservation if you would like firewood delivery. Please be sure to put out all fires COMPLETELY when you are finished.

*IMPORTANT* Water is not included in this cabin, it is recommended that you bring a few gallons of water per person. You may re-fill water jugs at our office right down the road. This shelter has battery operated lanterns and natural lighting. This shelter does not have regular electricity, but does have a solar powered battery to run small lights and recharge electronics. There is no regular running water in the cabin or outhouse.

*IMPORTANT*This cabin is extremely secluded and uniquely built into the nature’s hillside. A short hike up an aggressive gravel incline is required in order to reach this private oasis.

Please note that this cabin is up a bumpy, sometimes muddy, gravel road. Small two-wheeled vehicles can make it to the cabin, but four wheel drives have an easier time.

Moss Rock is an off-grid cabin experience unlike any other. While you’ll be saying good-bye to our many modern conveniences, you’ll get to say “HELLO!” to solar-powered lighting, battery-powered lanterns and propane appliances. We hope you’ll enjoy our low-tech approach to a high-quality experience during your stay!

Kitchen: Fully finished kitchen including a gas stove, oven, 75L Yeti cooler, and french press coffee pot. Cookware, dishware, soap and kitchen linens will be provided during your stay.

Living/Dining:Bar-style countertop seating in the kitchen, a futon couch by the fireplace, and a furnished deck with a stellar view. The upstairs loft has its own balcony as well.

Bathroom: There is an outhouse nextdoor to Moss Rock you are always welcome to use the guest shower (with hot water!) and bathroom located at the Red River Gorgeous Headquarters at any time during your stay.

Bedroom: A queen size bed and full futon are located on the main level, and there are two additional queen beds on the upper level (loft).

Additional Amenities: Weber charcoal grill, porch swing, indoor propane fireplace, board games and a private fire pit.

The Observatory tree-house is a vacation experience that quite literally rises above the rest! Built not for the faint of heart, this tree-top adventure offers the best views of the Red River Gorge. Building this tree house is a dream come true for the Canopy Crew, and I am so excited to share it. I would argue that this is one of the coolest tree house rentals in the world. This is a true canopy experience and it should be noted that it might be too adventurous for some!

Once you trek up to your new home in the swaying Eastern White Pine, you may feel exposed to the unforgettable raw nature of the canopy! This tree house is designed for able-bodied folks and is NOT meant for unsupervised or small children.

Staying in a Red River Gorgeous Cabin is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Because all of our hand-built cabins are unique, we wish to inform you of their individual features so you can come prepared to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Kitchen:The Observatory kitchen has a gas stove, french press coffee pot, cookware, dishware, soap and kitchen linens. Above the sink you’ll find a 5-gallon water dispenser for your cooking and cleaning needs. We supply two 5-gallon jugs of potable water during your stay. For perishables, a 75 L Yeti cooler is provided. Please bring your own ice.

Living/Dining:Screened-in lounge on the lowest level with a futon and two hammocks, a porch and bar-style seating for two on the mid-level, and the most spectacular views from the highest level on the Observation deck that leads to the bedroom.

Bathroom:Observatory has a private composting outhouse. You are also welcome to use our guest shower and bathroom at the RRG Headquarters at any time during your stay.

Bedroom: A full bed above the trees and a full-futon in the lower hammock lounge. While this tree-house was designed for two, there is room for two additional guests in the hammock lounge! Please note: this lower sleeping area has large screened windows, is not insulated and does not contain a heating mechanism. Linens provided for number of indicated guests.

Additional Amenities:Weber charcoal grill, wall heater in the bedroom, solar powered kitchen lights and solar charging station for small electronics, battery-powered lanterns, and a private fire pit with camp chairs. Did we mention the view???

Located on the edge of Red River Gorge Geological Area in 20 acres of peaceful woodland and rolling hills, our little hobby farm has the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. Wake up in our quaint English-styled cottage to see our two mustangs grazing in the field, birds at the porch feeders, and all the flowers blooming in the garden . Enjoy the hot tub! It's just 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park and 5 minutes from Stanton for shops and restaurants. Larkspur Cabin has two covered porches. The front porch with a love seat and two chairs, overlooks a large lawn, fire pit and the riding ring. We have free-range chickens and 2 very friendly dogs roam the property. Our two American Mustangs (National Treasures) can be seen grazing in the field. I offer riding lessons with trail rides, you can book on Airbnb experiences (Kettlestone Horses)or message me to book your experience. The private and secluded side deck has a 4 person hot tub. In the summer, enjoy the perennial garden with butterfly bushes and roses. Take advantage of the outdoors on beautiful days with a campfire and charcoal grill. There is plenty of private parking space next to the cottage. The cottage is set 300 ft away from the main house (where we live) and 200 feet from Dappled Grey, the other cabin on our property. A barn separates the cabin from the house, adding more privacy and seclusion for our guests. Feel free to hike the gravel road and forest path to make a loop around our 20 acres. The entirety of Larkspur Cabin is solely for guest use. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn, grill and bonfire area outside the cottage. Happy to chat if you are! Country neighborhood just outside of Stanton, KY. 15 minutes away from Natural Bridge State Park and the heart of Red River Gorge. Take Mountain Parkway to the Slade exit, and access to miles of hiking trails and climbing walls. Attractions include Gorge Underground, minigolf, the Nada Tunnel, Glady Visitor Center, the Kentucky Reptile Zoo (with almost 2000 species of reptiles!) Zip lines and many more exciting things to do. While we are set in the country, we are very close to Stanton (just 5 min drive), with access to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. Please check out my recommendations in my guidebook on this app. 5 minutes from the Mountain Parkway, right near town with access to shops, restaurants, antique/flea markets, drug stores and other amenities. A 15-20 minute drive to the Nada Tunnel and Natural Bridge State Park. Stanton sits on the western edge of Red River Gorge Geological Area. Pets are welcome. We charge a $35 one time fee for EACH pet that you bring with you. We do ask you to notify us if you are bringing more than one pet as we will send you the additional pet fee through Airbnb. There are 2 single beds in the loft space. However, there is little sound insulation between the rooms, making Larkspur ideal for families with children, but not so ideal for two couples. Please bring charcoal and lighter if you plan to use the grill. We do not provide wood for the campfire, but you are more than welcome to gather it from our woods around!
