- "Superbes vacances" - "Lovely house, lots of privacy, well-equiped and excellent communication with owner and caretaker. Riberac offers supermarkets restaurants and bars in walking distance." - "We had a fabulous stay in Franke’s house. The villa was so pretty and had all that a family might need. I was pleased to have some French or I may have struggled with check in but Franke spoke good English when we met him later in the week. The lay out of the kitchen, dining and outdoor dining area (which wasn’t obvious from the photos) was fantastic and we could supervise the children in the pool whilst sitting under the awning on the terrace. The BBQ was top quality and led to us eating in far more than anticipated. We stayed during a heatwave and pool was very welcome and easy to keep clean. Clever use of shutters kept the place cool although it was warm in the upper bedrooms at night at the peak of the heatwave. The decor of the villa was exceptional (although with an 8&9 year old I was nervous at times that they might damage something - luckily not). The short walk into Riberac centre was easy going and the Friday morning market is not to be missed. All in all a fabulous week and we would certainly return for rest and relaxation on the deck chairs or sunloungers under the trees in the cleverly designed garden."

- "Located in a small hamlet just outside the small town of Riberac, the house has plenty of outside space with large front and rear gardens. This offers shade and sun at your wish, and peace and privacy without being isolated. There are many beautiful villages within easy driving distance and the major attractions of the region are within comfortable reach. Having visited these in the past we focussed on exploring the more local and discovered many great places and cafés. The house is clearly well cared for, decorated and furnished to a high standard for a holiday home. The owners have not cluttered all the shelves and cupboards with their own stuff, as so many others do, leaving you with the chance to make it a home of your own during your stay. Communication with the owners was excellent. We had no problems during our stay but were confident that they would have been on hand had we needed help. They provided a series of videos to explain (in English for us) how to use the essential appliances – an excellent idea. A smart tv, with subscriptions, was available to use as we wished plus a welcoming gift. We have had many similar holidays in France. So far, we have never gone back to the same property preferring to explore different parts of the country. If we return to France again, and we hope to do so, we may well break that pattern by returning here. We had a fabulous holiday. Thanks to Amélie, Laurence, and Ben for all their help."

- "The amount of facilities and space this property has is huge and will keep you and your family entertained whatever the weather! The pool is fantastic, accessible straight off of the upstairs living space and a is really good size, retaining the sun throughout the day. It was in excellent condition during our stay. The games room downstairs with the high quality, full size football and table tennis table's were great fun. There is an adjoining door to the garage which provided further space to store additional bikes we had brought with us (however there were six bikes the hosts would have lent us). The split bedrooms upstairs and downstairs with independent good quality bathrooms allowed us to have space from kids which worked well. The basketball net, trampoline, swing were all used but we kept the kids off the PS4 and satellite TV. The house is on a very quiet road during the school holidays but there is a busy road 75m the other way which you will hear throughout the night. We felt the benefits make up for this. There is a Lidl a five minute walk up the hill and the high street five minutes down the hill. Other than bikes rides we did not do much else as the house had more than enough to entertain us all and allow us to relax. Great communication with the hosts before our stay. They met us on our arrival showed us around and they left us undisturbed for the rest of the week whilst knowing they were contactable should they be require. Highly recommend, especially for families."

We would recommend the house - for us it was a great base and the region is just amazing - fields of sunflowers as far as the eye can see! Lovely river beaches and pretty villages.
