The shared kitchen and dining rooms are very spacious, multiple guests can enjoy them simultaneously without feeling like space is getting tight. We really enjoyed the concept. The proximity with the IGA makes it very convenient to cook while being on vacation, which makes you feel really at home. The bedroom was big, bright, and the bed very comfy, the en-suite bathroom very clean and large as well. Communication with staff was effortless, we arrived on site without having checked the guidelines for self check-in (our fault, forgot to check our emails), but we managed to get in touch with the person within seconds. - "The property inside and out was spotlessly clean; I likely could have eaten off of the floor. The breakfasts provided were simple but of high quality ingredients and I was never dissatisfied. I stayed in the Helene room which has its own balcony which I enjoyed sitting out on after a day full of walking. This Auberge is very close to the Via Rail station so if, like me, you take the train up from Montreal, it is a great choice. The hosts were super accommodating when Via Rail changed the train schedule that I arrived around 4AM next morning instead of originally at around 7pm."

Tried twice again on day of trip during 3-6 pm period while on the way from Montreal (6 hour drive). Arrived at hotel at 630 due to accident delays, and owner/receptionist was not there. Met 2 others outside that he (Alex) also did this to, and they told me that he actually did it to 20 people and none of then were informed either. Owner was not there to take the heat. Was very difficult to find another room at last minute due to hotels being full due to an airshow that weekend. Not sure if I got a refund yet, and will be contacting Expedia support. "

- "Whether you are travelling for work or pleasure this is a great rental. You get a cottage-like atmosphere and all the amenities are nearby. My colleague and I travelled from different parts of the country to attend training and work in the area. When we arrived we were ready to make a list of what we needed to pick up but the owners have thought of it all. We really only had to pick up groceries. The house is clean and the two bedrooms are great for couples, individuals or multiple younger kids. When we wanted to relax after work there were not only games and videos to entertain but also tv (lots of channels and subscription services). Great pool and hot tub to use too. Added to it for us was the benefit of the short drive to training, work and amenitiesThere are walking trails just across the street or within a short drive as well as other activities. Really appreciated the portable air conditioners in each room which helped sleeping on those hotter evenings. The owner was quick to respond to emails leading up to our rental dates and questions during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental and the owners. Great experience and we hope to be back again!"
