A small seating area is under the carport and a newly added deck added to the back of the house to enjoy all the views. Fully stocked kitchen has everything needed for preparing a meal or just reheating. Fresh towels, linens, hair dryer and some toiletries are provided. Paper towel and cleaning supplies are always available. There is a queen bed in first bedroom and a full size bed in the second bedroom. The living room has a a pull out sofa couch and a designated "dog couch". The "dog couch" is positioned for premium viewing. Watch the large tv with Roku channels, and other streaming. Pass thru room has futon type couch. The large back yard has a chain link fence 5 feet high. There is plenty of room for dogs to run. The treelined street is perfect for dog walking. Dog amenities make this better than pet friendly! The square footage of the home only allows 2 dogs and under 50lbs.
There are fees for additional pets. The horse park view from the living room is tremendous! Great established neighborhood! Our cottage is quiet and peaceful, on a tree lined street in a nice residential neighborhood, yet walking distance to all Decatur has to offer. Our cottage is best suited for a couple and one child. It’s a 15 minute nice walk on safe, tree-shaded sidewalks to Downtown Decatur where you will find many award winning restaurants, shops and pubs. Located only two blocks from the Marta station, one mile from Agnes Scott, 4 miles from Emory and the CDC. Keyless entry, thermostat, free Wi-Fi, Roku TV, no stairs. Check-in anytime after 4pm. Check-out by 10am. Details will be sent closer to check-in.
The Cottage is in our backyard, with a private entrance and walkway. It is a quiet, cozy space. There is a sofa and a 46 inch HD flat screen TV (with Roku including Netflix and Hulu), and DVD player in the front room. In the back there is a very comfortable queen bed with a Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Plush mattress and 100% Egyptian cotton sheets and quilt. There is also a single size mattress in the small loft area with a reading light perfect for an older child or small adult. The kitchen area has a small oven, cook top, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge with freezer, a coffee maker with several different coffees and teas to choose from. The bathroom has a walk in tile shower with vanity with clean fresh towels and all essentials needed for your stay.
You have full, private use of the cottage and may feel free to relax in one of our shared spaces in the beautiful back yard. If you are traveling with children, we have a trampoline as well as a large play scape area that your children are free to enjoy. This space is shared with my family and sometimes friends.
We ask that there is NO SMOKING anywhere on the premises.

✔ Identity Verification: You’ll receive an email from Unlock Stays to complete a secure identity verification process through our third-party provider, ChargeAutomation (Know Your Guest Inc.). This must be completed prior to check-in.

✔ Security Deposit: A $100 security deposit hold will be placed on your card 2 days before check-in and released within 3 days post-departure, provided there are no damages or losses.

**Non-Refundable Pet Fee: $85 per stay. A refundable damage deposit of $150 is due before check-in for a pet and service animal. Per stay, a maximum of one dog (up to 35 pounds) is permitted. (Please include breed, weight, and size in your booking request.)

Decatur is the historic "village" neighborhood of Atlanta, with some of the best restaurants and shops in the city. A short drive to Emory University, not to mention Atlanta attractions like the MLK Jr. Center, the Atlanta Zoo, Georgia Aquarium, and Ponce City Market, Decatur truly has it all. Walk to Agnes Scott College or visit the oldest cemetery in Atlanta and stop by markers from the 1700s. The Neighborhood:
This home is an attached townhome in a townhome community that lies about halfway between downtown Decatur and downtown Avondale Estates. Both Decatur and Avondale Estates have vibrant business districts and many cute and trendy restaurants. The unit is on a popular bike path that goes to the west out to the Beltline park and to the east to Stone Mountain park.

Other Things to Note:
Two bicycles are in a shed in the back yard. Two helmets and a tire pump are in the coat closet downstairs.

Guests are required to sign Host's short term rental agreement prior to checking in.

Pet policy: We allow dogs only, a maximum of 2, weight up to 25 lbs only. We do not allow cats. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $70 and an additional fee of $20 per pet per day. Took extra time to replace a battery in smoke detector but it was resolved the next day."

Prepare an amazing meal using the five range stove with fresh food from the Dekalb Farmer's Market, or have your meal at the bar or on the contemporary dining table from one of Decatur's fabulous restaurants.

This home features two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a luxurious king-sized Avocado organic mattress that is perfect after a long day. The second bedroom has a queen-sized mattress that is just as comfortable as the first.
Both closets are supplied with hangers. The second bedroom has a desk and chair to work at, and the first has a tallboy set of drawers.

A fifth person can sleep in the living room on an inflatable mattress, upon request. Please let me know this in the booking.
Guest access
Guests have access to the two bedrooms and the rest of the house. The only room that guests won't have access to is the office which will be locked and where we keep our personal items while we are away.

Other things to note:

There is a separate house at the front of the yard that will have guests staying in it from time to time. However, you will still have private access with a lit pathway to the carriage house and patio area and won't be disturbed. The sidewalk or path that leads to the guest entrance is also well lit at night.
