The 1940's Cabin sits just walking distance from the South River. It has a rustic feel but all modern amenities. There are 2 eating areas 1 inside and 1 outside with plenty of tables and chairs on the deck. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a 3rd room with a twin/ trundle underneath. Also, a couch that pulls out to a full bed. A short walk from our front door is Arabia Mountain Trail. Great for biking or hiking .It feels remote here but close to everything. 35 minutes to airport. 10-20 minutes to Conyers, Covington and Mcdonough , 25 min to Stone Mountain and 30 minutes to Atlanta . The cabin is surrounded by woods in the country and is located at the end of a long gravel driveway. There are 2 homes on the property . I live in one and one is our rental. Homes are close. You have complete privacy of decks and back yard. We give our guests complete privacy. Self check in. We are nearby to help if needed. No parties allowed. No unlimited guest without permission. We have cats that lay all around. A small shy dog. We do allow pets . I do not allow pit bulls on my property. We do charge a pet cleaning fee of 50$ depending on type of dog and how many.

- "My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The house was very clean and the host was very attentive. We flew in early on the Friday and was able to check in early. Host replied quickly to my request for early check in. It was very hot so the pool was a great plus. I really loved that there were towels stocked for use at the pool and adequate seating outside. I definitely will use this location again and refer to family and friends." - "We had a great time here. It was clean and large enough for all of us to have space. Some things you should know before staying here… 1) The master bedroom is spacious and the bathroom is beautiful! 2) The guest bathroom in the main house has a very tall entry and exit over the tub. 3) The additional room that’s upstairs has zero clothing storage - no closet, no drawers, etc. and the bathroom shower is very tight. 4) All the beds were very comfortable. 5) The pool area was nice and there was a lot of space for our dogs and all our guests. 6) The living room is a little sparse, which we appreciated because it gave our three dogs space to lie down while we played games out there. Two of the six of us sat on the floor for game night. 7) The kitchen doesn’t have much if you plan on really cooking. Being what you need. There were no baking sheets, very few mixing/serving bowls, and surprisingly few pots and pans for the size of the kitchen. There were knives and utensils and ample plates, bowls, silverware, etc. 8) There was lots of space for parking. All in all, we enjoyed our stay."

On the patio side of the backyard is a large gazebo perfect for enjoying company while grilling up your favorite meat on the grill. Next to the gazebo is a wood burning fire pit (BYOW) to wind down the night… it is sure to make s’more memories. S’mores starter pack included with each stay.

Heading inside on the main level is a large room with an open concept kitchen, dining, and living area. This space is perfect for cooking, entertaining, and enjoying your favorite show on the 75” 4K Smart TV. Relax from all the outdoor fun by getting comfy on the large leather sectional big enough to fit the whole crew.

Going upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite features a king bed, eye catching plaid wallpaper, and on-suite bathroom. Next to the master is the other king bed nestled inside the perfectly themed Georgia peach room. The Georgia peach room has a small workspace… if you must work while on vacation. The last bedroom upstairs has a queen bed with a beautiful headboard, and luxury bedside lamp.

Heading to the lower level you will find the final bathroom & bedroom. The large bedroom features two queen beds and a custom hand-painted mural that will make you say, “wow”. Finally, on the lower level is the game room. Make memories playing the wall mounted scrabble, connect 4, or tic-tac-toe. The games continue with a small air hockey/ping pong table, an oversized Jenga set & a kiddie corner for the kids. Whether it’s a game night or movie night, make sure to enjoy the large commercial 8 oz popcorn popper. We provide 2 easy to use popcorn packets, on the house!

NOTE: I have 2 friendly and VERY active dogs and if you have fur allergies or don't feel comfortable around pets, you may want to consider another property. One dog is relatively new and very vocal. They both tend to bark a lot, especially at the mailman or at neighbors walking in the neighborhood! If you need a really quiet/peaceful household, this may not work for you.
