- "Very nice place in an old style grand hotel with new renovation! " - "The hotel is very beautiful, but I didn’t fully understand the concept. There’s no room service, during the stay they do not clean the room, and for dinner, there’s only a mediocre buffet or an Indian restaurant that’s always full. In the end, guests order takeaway pizza and are allowed to eat it in the luxurious lounges. Quite a curious contrast. We stayed in a suite with the whole family, and the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. We also found the saunas and jacuzzi very clean, with no set schedule or need for reservations, which was appreciated. It’s a shame the pool wasn’t open. The breakfast buffet was quite complete. The WiFi could improve much more, we had no WiFi in our suite and neither Smart TV, just a couple of channels despite the TV was huge and modern."

- "This area of Switzerland is very beautiful and not as heavily touristed as the St. Moritz area. Perhaps that's why the natives were so very very friendly and helpful. In any case, the folks who run this hotel are super nice and it's as immaculate as you can imagine. It's important to be aware that you can hear noise from the road during the day if the door to the very large balcony or the windows are open. At night, the traffic cuts almost completely and I was not disturbed even as a very noise sensitive person. Breakfast buffet was particularly tasty and tasteful, with several local specialities."

In winter, Motta Naluns is a manageable, varied snow sports area with valley runs to Ftan, Scuol and Sent. In addition to the valley trail, which runs along the picturesque Inn from Scuol to Martina, cross-country skiers will also find alpine trails on the Lai Nair in Tarasp or in Ftan.
