Firefly Tiny House by Tiny Away is set in a secluded bushland area surrounded on one side by semi-cleared paddocks, established trees, and bushland, supplying dappled shade spaces, and flourishing natural surrounds. You can enjoy a generous decked outdoor space to lounge back and enjoy the serenity that our property has to offer.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with abundant deck space, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its fenced acres of landscaped and decked land. Guests can enjoy views of the large dam, creek, and farming paddocks spread over 60 acres of natural bushland.

- There is also a variety of equipment you can use during your stay, including hammocks, mini zen garden, outdoor umbrella, blue-tooth speaker, yoga mats & pose cards, colouring books, pencils, Kaleidoscope, outdoor/ deck games, clear rain umbrella, board games, and conversation cards.

- Farm activities can be organized upon prior request only & for guests staying 2 nights or longer. This includes feeding, patting, and taking photos of chickens, miniature goats, border collies and our horses.

Just an hour's drive to Newcastle and Port Stephens, a 45-minute drive to either Dungog or Hawks Nest, a 25-minute drive to Buladelah, and a 1.5-hour drive to the Hunter Valley Vineyards.

Explore local favorites during your stay. Enjoy a drink or meal at The Farmer’s Wife Gin Distillery, or stop by The Mill Farm Gate for local produce, honey, cheese, and handmade pottery. Crafty Friends on Cowper Street offers vintage goods, secondhand books, and local crafts.

Getting Around:
By car:

- Newcastle, half an hour drive along the M1, turn at the Buckets Way, 20 mins drive to Booral. Then at RHT onto Booral Rd and 10 mins drive through to Girvan. RHT onto Brooks Rd and then 1 min till a RHT into our property.

By public transport:
- It is advisable to bring your own car as public transport is not a viable option.

- Outdoor Firepit only available from March through August and free firewood is available. Firepit not available during fireban period.
- Gas BBQ available all year round
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Outdoor bath available all year round
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Telstra has a good signal. Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have weak to no signal

What looked like a dam in the photos turned out to be a pool in a water course and was the perfect spot to be. Once the sun got low it felt private enough for us be comfortable and feel alone out there which was exactly what we wanted. The fire pit on the deck was the highlight and main reason we chose this one and was perfect. The host, Cameron, provides plenty of wood, tinder, and matches. All easy to access. We were pretty enthusiastic with the fire so requested some more wood to be sure and it was no drama. Cameron was happy to grab more from up top and bring it down. The tiny home, location, included bonuses and amenities were all perfect. Plenty of wildlife to spot, beautiful location and a really nice drive to get there. Cameron was a fantastic host with great and clear communication. No nasty surprises or let downs at all, definitely book this place and have a drama free break."

We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, freshwater for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.

Drive just under three hours north of Sydney into the heart of Australian pasture where Tiny Madeline resides. Rest in the luxury of pure French linen sheets, and wake as the morning sun floods through the windows.

Aptly named after the small but mighty Parisian schoolgirl, Madeline.

The Space:
Madeline sleeps up to four with a Queen bed in the window and a double bed in the loft. Madeline is one of our new premium house designs and comes with a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and heating unit.

Madeline features pure French linen sheets from Carlotta + Gee. These sheets are washed in volcanic stones to accelerate the flax softening process, resulting in extra soft, luxurious linen bedding.

We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, freshwater for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in the Markwell Valley, Tiny Madeline is only 10 minutes drive from the town of Bulahdelah, making it a short detour off the Pacific Highway. The surrounding area is a tranquil meeting place of rivers, and a great base to explore the region’s wonderful lakes and waterways.

Immerse yourself in nature and walk the nearby national parks and forests, including Ghin-Doo-Ee National Park, Wang Wauk forest, Myall River forest and Myall Lakes National Park. Drive an easy 40-minutes to Pacific Palms. Explore stunning beaches such as Blueys Beach, Sandbar and Booti Booti.

Our 6-bedroom Riverview Homestead has WIFI throughout and is set on hundreds of rolling acres with magnificent valley and mountain views.
Every room has been individually styled by interior designer Valerie Hall in a lovely relaxed upmarket country theme.

The homestead has ducted air conditioning throughout. There are 2 luxury master suites with individual ensuites, plus 4 additional bedrooms, 3 bedrooms offering a combination of queen or twin/king beds, and a bedroom with 2 bunks.
The 4 additional bedrooms are serviced by a family bathroom and an additional powder room. Riverview Homestead sleeps up to 12 guests.
The home theatre opens off the beautiful open-plan living area, which provides a lounge room and dining for 12 people with a fully equipped kitchen and butler’s pantry. There is also a full laundry facility with a washing machine and dryer.
The living area faces north and opens out onto a large alfresco patio complete with outdoor seating/eating facilities, a large gas barbeque plus a campfire. The views from the Master Suites, Living Area, and Alfresco Area are stunning!

Only 500 meters walk to the beautiful swimming hole at the river, where they filmed Farmer Wants A Wife.
