- "Very friendly hosts with a very clean property and the self help breakfast offerings are a nice touch. Bathroom and toilet situation is a little unusual in that they are situated in the small entrance hallway so I would recommend bringing a dressing gown as it feels like you could bump into the hosts here (but we never did) - the shower has excellent pressure though. The main unit entrance door has a keyless lock which is excellent - there is also an entrance to the hosts house from here. Then you go down a few stairs, passing the bathroom and toilet (and through a small laundry that is not for guest use) and then through a door into the unit proper - there is no lock on this door which felt a little strange. There is no kitchen sink so you put any dirty dishes in the laundry sink in the morning and the hosts pick them up, clean and return them to the sink for collection later in the day. You can communicate with the hosts, and them with you, via a google nest in the unit. This was something new for us and we are not sure we really liked the concept :) Heating very good, bed very comfortable and comfy pillows."

- Timaru Airport has direct flights from Wellington. Timaru is serviced by an intercity bus network, although there is no local public transportation outside of the city limits.We recommend that guests travel by private vehicle (or van hire).

- "From the thick carpet throughout the house to the colourful duvets on all the beds, the little pictures on the wall, to the huge TV that does what you want it to! Every thing in the kitchen that you desire including a basic breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the double glazing on all the windows. It is now a Number One destination for us in Timaru."

Comfortable, private and secure with nice outdoor dining area and fully-fenced garden. This home is not newly renovated, it has some signs of pre-loving but it is warm, clean, quiet and comfortable with new beds, linen, cutlery, crockery, etc. Great for families and couples: portacot + bedding and highchair available, kids play table and single beds upstairs.
