- "Excellent location, service and accommodations. The breakfast was nice. This was my second time staying at this property, and I enjoy their service and the continuity of staff. The hotel is an old Castle that has been modernized for the use of a hotel, and it is simply wonderful, which adds to the experience. They have onsite parking, and have an overflow lot at the top of the hill. Make sure and follow the parking directions given by the hotel, to use the right address, or be very observant and follow the signs, because blindly following GPS could have you on the very narrow streets at the top of the hill, which is not for the faint of heart. I had no complaints and highly recommend this hotel. Be well!"

- "To start off, the house is beautifully located, optimal for those who love nature and tranquility. The house is in the centre of a private estate, but also near the picturesque village Trujillo, which is well worth a visit. The house is attached to the house of the house keeper, and the kitchen window of the house keeper's house looks onto the house's garden, which sometimes felt uncomfortable. Otherwise, the "neighbours" are very quiet and kind. The pool is large and clean, but it is worth noting that it is NOT the pool that can be seen on the pictures on this website, which we found quite strange. (the pool is surrounded by tiles and walls, not by grass and trees) The house itself was clean with spacious bedrooms but a tiny kitchen. For those who like to eat out it's fine, but the kitchen is indeed quite small for those who like cooking. All other rooms are comfortably large and nicely decorated (English country style). We were here in the middle of summer, which was extremely hot this year, and we noticed that the garden lacks space and equipment to sit in the shade comfortably. The narrow garden seems to retain the heat, which felt quite muggy. There is a garden set made out of very heavy iron, but it is not really comfortable to sit on. Some comfortable garden chairs would make a great addition to the house. Furthermore, the sewage needs fixing, and during our stay some rooms were very smelly and the odor even reached the garden. In conclusion, we enjoyed the estate (which we imagine is very beautiful in spring season!), the pool and Trujillo, but believe that this house has some potential still to be unlocked, and hope that the owners can find some use in our advice."

- "Highly Recommended. The property was outstanding, the place itself, but also the care and attention that Isabel & Pedro showed us throughout our three week stay, made it feel very secure, noting that it's location is somewhat remote. Pedro gave us contact though WhatsApp - any issues, any questions we had, Pedro would respond immediately. The property served as an ideal base location for our group. I'd describe it as a self contained family compound. As an example, we had a fabulous BBQ in the the courtyard, with Charcoal / lighters supplied by the hosts. Equally, by the pool, we enjoyed using the electric grill, set inside a food prep area complete with working sink and fridge, providing another completely separate area to dine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. All the rooms, bathrooms, fixtures, fittings and furniture are of high quality. We enjoyed the local town, Trujillo, where we had many dinners. We also spend a few nights during our stay in Seville, which was terrific, and turned out to be an easy drive. Our stay was in August, so it was very hot during the afternoons. The AC worked well and the pool was very well maintained, so we coped without a problem. Thanks Isabel & Pedro for making our stay so comfortable."
