King size beds in all the bedrooms for the adults and a wonderful room with bunk beds for the kids. Ruaneik and the team thought of just about everything. If we had a question we messaged them and they responded right away!!! The kitchen was well stocked with top of the line cookware and dishes. Little details like night lights, individual thermostats in the bedrooms, wagons for the beach and LOTS of BEACH TOWELS made this stay even better than we expected. The private beach club, which was a short walk from the condo was a definite favorite of ours. Alfonso was great and catered to our every need. Beach toys for adults and kids kept everyone happy!!! The beach was beautiful and close to great snorkeling. The grocery store and Heritage Kitchen(amazing local Cayman food) are within easy walking distance."

THE SPACE
A lovely, simple, ground floor, 1200 square foot 2 bed 2 bath apartment with ocean views in West Bay on Grand Cayman Island. Easy access - no stairs.

You'd like to rent with us because you didn't come to the Caribbean to stay on the 7th floor of a hotel chain property, you don't want to pay for a "turn down service", and because you appreciate getting away from the noise and the loud music that goes along with 7 Mile Beach in the evenings (but don't worry, that world famous beach is just 5 mins away!).

The apartment has a very large living space, and it's all open plan. The kitchen is large with stools and lots of bench space. There's a couch that seats 6 comfortably and a large dining table to match. The apartment is fully furnished - towels, linen, cutlery, pots, pans, everything.

5 steps out your back door is a beautiful pool with plenty of deck chairs, and the sea is just beyond. And you're on the ground floor, so the whole pool area feels like its your own private space.

There's world class diving and snorkeling straight out the back, tanks and guides available (at an additional charge) on site, and a small private beach - folding chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella are provided in the condo.

Two of the island's most famous (Macabuca - fun beach fair - dive or snorkel right off the back of the restaurant or snorkel home from lunch and The Cracked Conch - fine dining) restaurants are next door, and some of Cayman's most famous attractions, including the Cayman Turtle Centre and the Dolphin Centre, are just as close.

And then there's everything else that Cayman has to offer you - which is all super close as well (its not the world's biggest island!).

Our ground floor condo will suit couples as well as families or people who don't want to climb up and down stairs every time they head to the pool. We provide DVD players in the living and guest room with a wide selection of DVD's on the off chance that it rains. Classic games and cards are also available.

The Neighborhood:
West Bay is where Cayman comes alive. Seven Mile Beach stretches right up the western coast of the island, but the hotel chains peter out and are replaced by the things you really came to the Caribbean to see - little streets, little shops and stalls, bright colors - the closer you get the more you'll really fell like you've "arrived".

The road that leads you to our place hugs the ocean - you'll never get lost if you follow the ocean!

The diving and snorkeling in West Bay is phenomenal and in particular off the back of the Coconut Bay condominiums. As a super rare bonus it is roughly a 2 minute walk from your back patio. Patrick dives and snorkels (a couple times a day weather permitting) while Whitney is a dedicated snorkeling enthusiast.

The West Bay has several of the premier restaurants on the island offering a full variety of vacation's best options within 2-8 minutes driving. Macabuca, The Cracked Conch, Vivo, Heritage Kitchen and Ristorante Pappagallo to list a few we recommend.

And the size of the island means that while you'll feel like you've gotten away from it all - everything that Cayman has to offer you will never be more than a few minutes drive away.

GETTING AROUND
There's lots of parking right in front of the unit. There's also a local bus service and some taxis, but nearly everyone who comes to Cayman rents a car - almost every major car rental company has an office at or near the airport and a couple local choices also.

Driving is on the LEFT hand side of the road in Cayman. We prefer the European style drivers configuration when renting cars if available (steering wheel on the right of the vehicle) as it seems to make the transition feel more natural).

We had full use of it all week for $50 per person. I was happy to pay it as we used it every time. Rented a car and toured the entire island, I would highly recommend that as well. Coconut Bay Villas #122 is located in George Town, just a 4-minute walk from Boatswains Beach and 600 yards from West Bay Beach. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the vacation home free of charge. Outdoor seating is also available at Coconut Bay Villas #122. A great place to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility while taking in the perpetual sounds of the ocean waves! This is a real island vacation villas. Palm trees on the beach, a beach that is never crowded, swimming pool in adjacent courtyard, roosters crowing on occasion, a long shoreline running into Barkers State Park for scenic walks, and West Bay; local island experience.

This is not a busy, box-hotel on Seven Mile Beach; no cars whizzing by either. A roomy, one bedroom condo with a king size bed, central a/c, granite counters in kitchen, stainless steel appliances, refrigerator with ice maker, full size oven, microwave, crock pot, toaster oven, dishwasher, in-unit washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, smart TV, Apple TV, cable TV, beach towels, linens, a few pool toys, on premises BBQ grill, blender for your island drink creations along with patio furniture to sit and enjoy an up close ocean view while listening to the lazy tide roll in. Stroll out to the end of the dock and relax while taking in the ocean. Take a walk down the beach into Barkers State Park, star gaze, check out the swimming pool or walk "37 steps to the beach".

- "We had an amazing time at Parrot 6! The entire villa community is beautiful and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and plenty of linens were provided. The view of the ocean from the unit is breathtaking! It was only steps from the unit to the beautiful beach. We were able to snorkel right off of the dock and see a huge variety of sea life very close to the shore. We also took advantage of the pool, which was sparkling clean and had plenty of seating and umbrellas around it. We will definitely return to Grand Cayman and Parrot 6, as one week was not enough time to visit."

Clearwater House is located on Boggy Sand Road, one of the elite addresses in Grand Cayman due to it being a cul-de-sac road that is primarily lined with single family homes (not condos). Notes on Public Beach Access:
Clearwater House is one of the few private home available for short-term rental with proximity to Seven Mile Beach restaurants and amenities. Even though the public beach access closest to the house can hard to navigate, other prime locations are a short drive or walk and there is a sea wall sandy beach very close or walk to Cemetery Beach. The Boggy Sands Rd location is one of the best on the island.

Please inquire if you have any questions. Property Manager is occasionally on site in the separate garage apartment but does not interfere with guest enjoyment of house/grounds/pool.

- "We spent a delightful couple of weeks in West Bay, initially celebrating my 70th birthday and then exploring the island's incredible range of attractions. The house had everything, from heated swimming pool to gas barbecue and pizza oven, from table tennis table to indoor gym. It is also situated close to a nice beach with great snorkelling and rock pooling and the Heritage Kitchen, a small shack selling the best home-cooked mahi-mahi and lobster, best enjoyed with a beer whilst watching the sun set. It really could not have better. Kathy, the host, was always just a WhatsApp message away and the one issue we had (aircon failure) was sorted immediately. Fatima, the housekeeper, was also most helpful and looked after the children on one occasion whilst we had an evening out in George Town. We found a great small boat hire (Cachas Stewart aka Super C -Jah Bless Charters) for fishing and trips to the Stingray sandbar and coral reefs. Best beaches were Smith's Cove and Rum Point, in addition of course to Seven Mile Beach. Above all the people are so friendly and eager to help, even more so than other Caribbean islands we have visited. Can't wait until I'm 80 and have an excuse to return! Highly recommended."

The pool area is very well done and was warm when we were there. It's not heated but doesn't need to be since the evening temps barely drop. - "The Coconut 1 was the absolute perfect place for our group of 10. We had 5 adults and 5 children and had plenty of space. The bonus room was great for the older kids to go hang out when the little ones were sleeping. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook in the gorgeous kitchen. The grill right outside was very convenient as well. They had a great variety of board games for the kids and a full size Pac-Man in the bonus room that got lots of use by both kids and adults. Everything was spotless upon arrival. The bathrooms were great with lots of storage and plenty of towels. We really appreciated all of the pool/beach towels as well. The beach club was phenomenal with everything you could possibly want in the boggy sands beach bus. Alfonso could not have been nicer and more helpful to all of us. He chilled and cut open coconuts for everyone for a couple of the days he knew we would be on the beach. He really made the experience special. The property manager was more like a concierge as he was willing to help with any questions we had and reached out numerous times to see if we needed anything. Excellent costumer service and all around wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back!!!"

We also enjoyed walking down to the sea wall to watch the waves (it was quite windy during our stay). Using the ladder, we had safe entry into some really nice snorkling. I'm glad we brought a safety dive flag/float for better visibility for boat drivers, although we stayed close to the coral shoreline. The dive site was directly off the coast and easy to reach, but we weren't diving this vacation. The condo itself was well equipped and comfortable, nice showers, nice pool. Minor drawback was construction noise next door during regular business hours, but many days we were gone for lunch or other adventures on Grand Cayman!!"

- "Boggy Sands Parrot 1 was a very beautiful condo with plenty of room for our family of 8. The location is wonderful as it is close to food store, liquor store and a few restaurants. Pool Pavilion is very nice with a lovely well maintained pool. Lots of pool toys available for use. It is a short walk down a quiet road to get to the Boggy Sands private beach. At the beach there are a lot of chairs. Alfonso was there to help set up umbrellas, get out paddleboards, kayaks, etc. Very helpful. He also spent time doing crafts with the children. The only issue we had was the dishwasher in the unit had the bottom rack being difficult to get in and out. We informed the staff about the DW. We still managed to use it but it was tricky. Overall we loved our stay at Boggy Sands and would definitely stay there again."

The location on the island was just amazing! The beach which is a short walk (they give you a beach cart/cooler/speaker to use!) had the most beautiful white sand and crystal clear, blue water. Bring your snorkels! We paddle boarded (which were provided!) out to many awesome spots to snorkel and see tropical fish, sea turtles, a sunken ship, etc. I can go on and on about the beach! The beach attendant Alfonso was a kind gentlemen that helped us with umbrellas/chairs/kayaks/paddles boards (all provided!) and even got us coconuts to drink and eat. Ruaneik was always available. He toured us around, helped us rent a car right from the condo, set up taxis, told us about the public bus which was very convenient to get around. If you go on an excursion make it a combo sting ray city/snorkel/starfish boating trip! It was one if the highlights of our trip for sure! We private chartered with Shane from Tours Cayman and it was a dream day with our family! All kiddos ages 7-16 loved it! If you are looking for a tropical gem tucked away on the quiet backroad of paradise and steps from the most beautiful beach you’ve ever seen- book this condo!"
