This is an old neighborhood built in the late 1925 Homes are still set in time. We inherited this land we tore down the old house which was builted in 1929. Though the neighborhood is old the home is new built in 2022 it's quite cozy spacious front and back yard gated fence,fire pit, I say never judge a book by its cover. Deers come to eat from the gum tree. No crime, no loud music just calm atmosphere, you will really enjoy your stay.. only 1 house next to and 1 across the street. No street traffic. So come and enjoy the Williams Estate.

Discovery Woods Cabin is a two bedroom, two bath wood cabin located on a small private pond in rural Georgia. The cabin is fully equipped with full kitchen including expresso machine. The cabin has handmade seating for 6.

The rear porch offers a, 4 person hot tub, wood burning fire pit, and best of all, Great night star gazing or storm watching from the back porch

The space:
The cabin has full HVAC, business class internet, and most modern amenities but yet offers all of the hand carved wooden charm that we all crave from a weekend cabin experience.

The master bathroom offers a simple river rock bottom standing shower, while the other bathroom offers a full garden tub for a nice warm bath.

Though this charming cabin is a show stopper for a rural cabin, this property's true charm is outside on the rear patio:

The cabin sits on a sizeable parcel of land that the owners are in the process (over the next 24 months) of planting a u-pick strawberry, blueberry, apple and peach farm. While you're with us, you may hear or see land clearing or planting happening on other parts of this property. But we do try our best to make sure your visit peaceful and restful!

The property is home to a large bee yard on the far side of the property so we do ask those hiking-minded visitors to please only observe but not to disturb our buzzing friends!

While having your morning coffee or evening wine, it is very possible that you will see large dee drinking from the far side of the pond, or some of the lake's large turtles churning the water. We of course invite all of our guests to go fishing in the pond if you brought your fishing pole but please do return the unharmed fish to the small lake.

If you are a star gazer, or storm chaser, there is a great chance you will get a beautiful show in the evening and night skies from the rear porch! We invite guests to use the fire pit down by the lake (please bring your own wood, and see that the fires are out before leaving the pit).

Please keep in mind we invite your family to have a nice time, but ask you to remember that you are only renting the cabin and not the grounds of the property- where you may see on-going work for the coming U-pick farm. We hope your love the property as much as we do, and return to visit us when Discovery Woods Farm opens in 2025. We strive to make sure the cabin is comfortable and clean for your family, this is still a simple rural cabin and does not offer the same things as a resort, please keep that in mind.

This cabin is in a small rural town where there are limited options for food. The closest city with restaurants is Swainsboro Ga, which is about 18 miles away. Please bring supplies with you that you wish to have. :)

Relax in this farmhouse-style lakehouse with a 1-acre fenced backyard, perfect for sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the fresh, country air. Directly across the the front yard is the pathway to the private dock and screened dock house. Guests can enjoy fishing or sunbathing from the dock (HOA restricts boat or kayak use by guests.) The screened dockhouse is waiting for you to enjoy an afternoon picnic.

Welcome! You will be wowed when you enter the beautiful open concept living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings that looks out to the backyard and lake. Down the hall are three bedrooms with queen size beds in each. Also, down the same hallway are two full bathrooms. No en-suite. Outside you will find a large deck with table and chairs and weber charcoal grill. Stroll down to the dock and boathouse to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Ben Hall Lake is a great place to fish off the dock or just enjoy the serenity.
Things to note: The property is located 15 minutes from downtown Dublin, 20 minutes to Southern Pines Recreation Complex,1 hour from Macon and 2 hours east to Savannah or north to Atlanta.
