I even found a cute little owl enjoying the scene with me. My stay was very comfortable. The apartment was nicely decorated with a modern sensibility and a king sized bed to spread out in with the convenience of touch sensitve bedside lights that charged my cell phone. Oh, and I loved the shower! I had plenty room to run through my exercise routine in front of the sofa. The drive up through the country roads was charming. My drive out was just the right time to see sunrise over the water. Beautiful! The host was very hospitable and pleasant. I'll be keeping Lakeside Loft top of mind for my next visit to the area."

The gentle, paved slope to the water is great for those with mobility challenges and the dock and beach make it easy to swim, get on sups and dock the boat. Bonus- the marina (where you can rent a boat for the weekend) is 5 minutes away by water or land. It's a beautiful home and perfectly put together for a restful, fun weekend at the lake. This is a weekend escape unlike any other. This 3br 2ba property has lots of yard space and allows a private experience. Enjoy breath taking water views from almost every room! Dock is great for fishing or just taking in the inspirational views! There is also a private boat ramp across the street- so bring your boat! It can be tied off to the dock for easy weekend use! Newly renovated inside and out with all new furniture, bedding, and appliances. Water is about 25-30 ft from door.

Spread-out across the massive lawn with yard games (Cornhole, Kan Jam, Spikeball, Yard Jenga, volleyball set, and football) or use our multiple hammocks for snoozing. If the water is calling your name, the rare sandy beach is just steps away and great for easy lake access (for the kiddos, pups, and kayak/stand-up paddleboard launching), or go wet a line down at the dock - we even have some extra fishing poles! At the dock, you'll find plenty of seating, 4-person café set + large umbrella & stand, AM/FM + bluetooth radio, pool noodles, life jackets, and numerous other amenities! And if that wasn't enough, we include 2 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddleboards onsite too! Back at the main cabin, there's a screened-in side porch for lazy afternoon loungin' & sippin' and an open back deck with the gas firepit, 6-burner gas grill, rockers, and a full outdoor dining set with umbrella & stand - and don’t forget about the hot tub to really get relaxed with amazing lake views! Finally, if you really want outdoor living at its finest, head-out to The Perch (cookhouse/open-air lounge) to fire-up the wood-fired grill (or fireplace) while having a night-cap and watching your favorite show/movie/sports with friends and family - there are even heaters and fans in this space - ENJOY!

A quick golf and/or spa day-trip is also close and easy - pick from a plethora of golf courses around the area - and The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is only about 35min away. You're in Georgia's Lake Country, so relax and let loose!

- "Our family of six adults, ranging in ages from 20 to 70, plus the family dog, loved everything about this property from check in through check out. Each of us had the space for privacy if desired, throughout the 3 beautiful units: the A frame, the cottage and the loft, although most of our time was spent together on the back deck, screened in porch, relaxing lake side on the docks or simply floating in the gorgeous swimming area. All spaces are clean and decorated in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Trippe, is so attentive to his guests, making sure we were comfortable and happy, including checking in on us during a summer storm. We would recommend Trippe and his beautiful home to anyone looking for a place to put their feet up and enjoy the natural beauty around The Fish Camp."
