- "How could I have waited 'till the 2nd night of my stay to visit the lake? But it was well worth the wait! Being on the water on a hot day was a joy! I even found a cute little owl enjoying the scene with me. My stay was very comfortable. The apartment was nicely decorated with a modern sensibility and a king sized bed to spread out in with the convenience of touch sensitve bedside lights that charged my cell phone. Oh, and I loved the shower! I had plenty room to run through my exercise routine in front of the sofa. The drive up through the country roads was charming. My drive out was just the right time to see sunrise over the water. Beautiful! The host was very hospitable and pleasant. I'll be keeping Lakeside Loft top of mind for my next visit to the area."

The gentle, paved slope to the water is great for those with mobility challenges and the dock and beach make it easy to swim, get on sups and dock the boat. Bonus- the marina (where you can rent a boat for the weekend) is 5 minutes away by water or land. It's a beautiful home and perfectly put together for a restful, fun weekend at the lake. This is a weekend escape unlike any other. This 3br 2ba property has lots of yard space and allows a private experience. Enjoy breath taking water views from almost every room! Dock is great for fishing or just taking in the inspirational views! There is also a private boat ramp across the street- so bring your boat! It can be tied off to the dock for easy weekend use! Newly renovated inside and out with all new furniture, bedding, and appliances. Water is about 25-30 ft from door.

There's plenty to do around the area if you want to get out and about, including boating, water sports, golfing, hiking, 4-wheeling, and even various historic sites. A quick golf and/or spa day-trip is also close and easy - pick from a plethora of golf courses around the area - and The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is only about 35min away. Each of us had the space for privacy if desired, throughout the 3 beautiful units: the A frame, the cottage and the loft, although most of our time was spent together on the back deck, screened in porch, relaxing lake side on the docks or simply floating in the gorgeous swimming area. All spaces are clean and decorated in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Trippe, is so attentive to his guests, making sure we were comfortable and happy, including checking in on us during a summer storm. The Retreat is a brand new 2021 home with a custom pool and spa. On a beautiful point lot in the best location Lake Oconee has to offer! Close to all restaurants by car or boat! Come stay and kick your feet up on the screened porch with a wood burning fire place or on the max dock!! Enjoy the sunrise in mornings and the sunset in evenings!! The Retreat has two bedrooms on the main level each with their own full bath rooms, also one half bath on the main. The upstairs has a loft area, bunk room with two queen beds and one twin bed, and two separate bedrooms. Two full bathrooms upstairs. Welcome to Palmer & Oak on Lake Sinclair! The property features two separate structures and a saltwater pool. The entire property in fenced in and has 200'+ of lake front views to watch the sunset. There is a small sandy beach for play and easy swimming access, a dock to fish or park your own boat from (or rent ours!) , a large pool area with slide, strong wifi and Roku TVs to stream your own apps on. The Main House is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with a game room with pool table and game table. The main house has two bedrooms each with king beds and one kids bedroom with one double bed and three single beds. This house also features a living room with smart TV connected to Roku, dining room and full kitchen.

The Guest House is a three bedroom, one bathroom home and has a living area with a pullout couch and a kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. There are dishes, utensils and coffee/tea supplies. The living room is also equipped with a smart tv connected to Roku, with some free channels and subscription based apps where you can use your own login information.

Please note, there is no cable at this property.

Located on Lake Sinclair, Eatonton - near Milledgeville and Lake Oconee, this lakeside house is only 1.5 hours from the Atlanta airport. This home is on a large piece of property, secluded, but still only 9 minutes to the closest fully stocked gas station, Kwik Stop, and 18 minutes to Walmart, other stores and fast food located in Eatonton. This property is also located 27 minutes to downtown Milledgeville - full of restaurants, shopping, and more.

On the property, for guest use, is a large pool area with slide and propane grill. Please note there is a $500 fine for using glass in and around the pool. The dock features 1 slip for your own boat and plenty of space for fishing. There is a small island located 200' from shore which creates great fishing directly from the dock. There is also a sandy area for easy lake access for swimming, paddle boards and kayaks. There are two kayaks for guest use on the property.

Pets are allowed in this home on a case-by-case basis.

Holidays: There is a five night minimum during the Labor Day and July 4th and Memorial Day Holidays, Christmas and New Years require a four night reservation.

Please be aware: The use of any flotation device/toys/furniture by the lake, pool and on the dock (including kayaks, rafts, canoes, any type of boat, ski gear of any sort, or any water craft) is strictly and in perpetuity, USED AT YOUR OWN RISK. The kitchen is fully stocked and was just the right size for our party of four. The house is a little bit of a drive to restaurants and shops, but there is a Dollar General about a 12 minute drive away. There is also a marina that is pretty close if you want to have lunch or dinner there. We had a wonderful Girls Trip!"

- "Very simple but great friendly location!" - "This was a mother/daughter getaway. The location of this property is amazing and even better than pictured. The house was super clean, had everything we needed and we felt safe and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch enjoying the lake view with our morning coffee and spent the days floating on the lake with the provided inner tubes. I was concerned about the stairs as my mom is 80 and just had a knee replacement but she said they were great and not steep at all for either of us. We had my mom’s little dog with us and the yard is fenced in on the front and sides of the property which is a great bonus! This part of the lake is beautiful and the water was warm and refreshing. The owner was extremely nice and communicative answering any questions quickly. I’d definitely return for another stay! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

The cabin is wonderful with all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy a peaceful vacation. The dock is in a great spot to catch some fish, while the kayaks and paddle boat/boards were fun to take out on the lake to cruise around. The cozy downstairs bedroom comfortably sleeps 2, while the spacious upstairs loft accommodates an additional 4 guests with one queen bed and 2 twin beds. The rustic unique charm of the interior is complemented by modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all.

Outdoors, guests can partake in a variety of activities, from fishing off the private dock to paddling across the tranquil waters in the provided kayak or paddle boat. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit for storytelling and stargazing, or savor a delightful al fresco meal at the outdoor dining area. The dock water depth is 2ft-4ft depending on water levels. We cannot control the depth of the lake.

Guests access the entire house. Guests do not have access to the She Shed. This is used for our supply room.

Getting Around:
This property is a 20 minute drive to GMC & GCSU. We are approximately 60 miles from the PGA Masters Tour in Augusta. Milledgeville & Greensboro, GA offer various dining options, entertainment, and activities for all ages. There is a Walmart in Eatonton near 15 minutes away and a Kroger in Milledgeville approx. 20 minutes away from the property. Twin Bridges Marina is a 5 minute drive from the property.

Enjoy outdoor cooking with the charcoal grill (be sure to bring your own charcoal)
