The house is bordered with roses, honey suckle and shrubs. There are outside lights to help enjoy the garden after dark on warm summer’s nights. The grounds are also bordered with trees, which makes it a safe and private haven for relaxing and lounging.

There are 3.6 hectares of woodland including 150m of Dordogne river frontage where the owners have regularly seen a pair of kingfishers whilst fishing. You can go for long walks just in the grounds alone.

The Maison: Built in 1729, the house is spacious and is elevated overlooking the Dordogne River (40 metres away). It has spectacular views of the old Bergerac medieval city directly across the river and stands close to the historic bridge connecting the south bank of the Dordogne to the old town. The house comprises three double bedrooms (master with en-suite, toilet and dressing room). A second bathroom, toilet services the other two bedrooms. The large salon overlooks the river and the modern kitchen and dining area has access to a large patio with BBQ. All modern appliances throughout including refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, oven, hot plates, cookware, coffee maker and washing machine/dryer in the utilities room.
