We didn't like the fact that there was no staff at the reception at all times. We had to communicate any issues, questions of requests by phone. This approach was highly unpersonable. Cozy modern studio in the heart of the city. The house is in a street with lots of restaurants and cozy pubs.

Experience your stay in a typical Dutch home!
This cozy house is built like a tower: all the way upstairs, on the 2nd floor you will find the bedroom and a shower and sink. On the 1st floor you can find the kitchen with a table where you can eat or work. Despite the small space, everything is available to make a bite to eat so you don't necessarily have to go out for dinner. On the ground floor are the toilet and the hall/entrance.
The stairs are steep; please keep this in mind!

The space
The accommodation is cozy and cozy/small but at the same time you have everything you need to spend a few nice days in Groningen.
In the front garden you can sit and chill when the weather is nice.
The Noorderplantsoen is within walking distance (15 minutes) and the city center is about 20 minutes away.
The neighborhood is an old lively neighborhood where, in addition to the Groningen people, students also live.
Nearby are 2 supermarkets, 2 good restaurants and a cafeteria.

I live downstairs and sleep at the back of the house so I am absolutely not bothered by it if you come in late at night or use the toilet.

By car too, but look for parking options. If possible, I can help with a visitor pass; that means you can park nearby on my license at no cost. Is not always possible as there are 16 hours available per week.

Other things to note
It's a 1930s house; that means it's an atmospheric house, but of course a bit older. The stairs are a bit steep; take this into account.
The only thing that is shared is the hall (upon entry).
Furthermore, I have 2 cats that you may encounter once (they want to run up again: you can just bring them in with me).

I hope I can offer a place where you feel free to go your own way (I do that too:) and where it can be cozy when we meet each other. Nothing has to be done!
