Our room was on the upper floor of what we learned was previously a monastery. It had a lovely view of the garden and was very spacious, although we wished it had more natural light. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If you are driving, a tip is to park overnight at the Forum Gronigen, only a few minutes walk away. Another plus is the hotel is dog-friendly (for an additional fee). "
