- "We turned up expecting a comfortable apartment based on 3 star rating and wow!, absolutely shocking from the start. Went to the so called lobby? It was a room with a bar type desk. The man in a sweaty t shirt gave me the key and off I toddled to the room. First impressions set the tone and walked up to the first floor dodging the broken tiled stairs and into the apartment. Pictures will tell the story but the mixer tap in the bathroom only ran hot, no plugs and the toilet brush was horrible. Beds were small hard and the sheets were off white. Wardrobe had a boiler in it and no rail to hang clothes up. TV was the size of a laptop - no binoculars to view it either. The balcony was filthy, oh no ironing board as advertised and no cups for the coffee making stuff which was also missing. We left in the morning out of pocket "

- "The property is very clean and tidy. There is everything in it that one would need. We cooked in a few nights and there are supermarkets close by so it was very convenient. The property is not easy to find initially but it is quite central when you get the hang of the layout of Vejer. As with all of these old towns and villages, the streets are narrow and GPS drops out. We had good wi-fi in the apartment. The area id quiet at night."

We have transformed the space on the 1st floor of a coworking (a shared office space where everyone is welcome to telecommute for free) into an independent studio. In line with the purpose of the coworking, we offer people an affordable place for a workation in this way.

The studio is basic but comfortably furnished and has a double bed, a sitting area with sofa, a dining table and a private shower with sink.

The toilet is downstairs in the coworking and is shared with other coworkers during coworking opening hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.). Outside these times, the toilet is exclusively available to you as a guest of the studio.

One of our guests described the studio as follows:

"We stayed in this studio with great pleasure. It is a beautiful, spacious space and basically you have everything you need. In addition, the bed was also comfortable! The studio is above the coworking as a kind of loft. Although you don't see other people, technically you share the same space. If you don't mind, this is a very original and nice place - especially ideal if you want to cowork yourself."

This accommodation is perfect for solo travelers who want to combine work at the coworking with relaxation. The old town of Vejer is about a 10-minute walk. And the beaches are about 20 minutes by car. There is a bus from Vejer to the beach of Conil de la Frontera.

Casa Los Chicos is situated at the lower end of the Almanzora Valley surrounded by Olive, Orange and Lemon groves affording stunning views of the area, but still only minutes away from the convenience of the A7/E15 Autovia. The house is immersed in the tranquillity of the Andalucian countryside in a small hamlet with plenty of walks available, the sound of birdsong and a fantastic view of the stars after sunset.
The owners live on the premises together with their three pet dogs and four cats.
