Bright and airy 2-bedroom apartment on the edge of the historic ’white’ village of Frigiliana, voted the ‘prettiest village in Andalucía’ by the Spanish tourist authority. Sandy beaches only 6km away and wonderful hiking country, rich in wildlife, all around. The apartment is located in a small residential block on a quiet side street and has spectacular views – to the east over the Rio Higueron and the rugged mountains of the Tejeda, Almijara & Alhama Natural Park, and south to the small seaside town of Nerja and the Mediterranean.
Sleeps 3, in one double and one single bedroom. The following optional items are available at an additional cost of £20 per item per week: a folding single bed (+ linen), a baby cot/crib (+ linen) and a high chair. The apartment has air conditioning/heating and free wifi.
The communal swimming pool is open from 1st May to 31st October.

- "We had a lovely holiday in this apartment. It is located in a nice part of the village about a 10 minute walk from the old town of Frigiliana. It has stunning views of the mountains and the sea in the distance. A very comfortable apartment with everything we needed. The pool was great and there are sun loungers in the apartment to use by the pool. Communication with Anne was great and we’ll definitely be back." - "Our fifth time staying in Frigiliana and second time at this apartment. We prefer coming out of season (the summers are just too hot for us). We've stayed here in October and March when it's hot enough to lounge in the sun, but not too hot to go walking (or even head out for an early morning run). Frigiliana is a stunning village and the old town gets quite busy during the day, even out of season - so plenty of bars and restaurants open during the day, but not so many on an evening. In the summer it's much busier and lots of places stay open late into the night. This apartment is located on the edge of the new town, so much quieter than in the old town, which is about 15 min walk away. The mountain views from the balcony are stunning and the balcony gets the sun from sunrise until about 3.00pm. The apartment is slightly dated, but it's clean and incredibly well equipped. We tend to eat out at lunchtime and make something in the apartment on an evening and the kitchen has everything we need. Drinks in the bars and restaurants are cheap (typically between 2 and 3 euros for a glass of wine or beer). Eating out is reasonable and supermarket prices are low. Eroski supermarket in the centre of the new town is less than 10 min walk from the apartment and provides most of what you'll need at decent prices. There's a Lidl on the way into Nerja that has a wider range of goods and is incredibly cheap. Car parking in Frigiliana is generally tricky (particularly in the old town) but we generally managed to get a space close to this apartment. It's only during the day on weekends that we struggled. We've really loved staying here, hence our return visit - and I'm sure we'll be back again!"

At 435 m altitude, Frigiliana is a typically Andalusian white village in the province of Malaga, established on the mountain , 6 km from the sea ( Nerja) and 50 km from Malaga. It overlooks a green valley and is backed by a mountain ( Natural Park of Sierra Almijara ) . Its narrow streets and ornate make its charm. Frigiliana has been voted the most beautiful village in Andalusia in 1997.

The apartment is 100 meters from the village center , shops , bars and restaurants. The orientation south / southwest of the apartment provides a panoramic view of the mountains, the Mediterranean, and the village. It consists of a bedroom bed 2 persons, bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom , a spacious lounge and dining room is very sunny , fitted American style ( breakfast bar) kitchen and a south-facing balcony . A communal swimming pool and solarium are also available in the residence (open seasonally).

- "We went from Malaga airport to our rental and happily right to the door of the building. ( some of Frigiliana is up narrow and charming (but not easily accessible by vehicle) narrow streets. The apartment was clean and comfortable with extra blankets etc. although we had requested one bed to be prepared in each bedroom through VRBO and this had not been done. Building was quiet at all times. This was a great location easy to walk to the Plaza of 3 Cultures and the rest of the village. So many great places to eat or just have a coffee and/or glass of wine. Beautifully appointed and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in this fantastic traditional Spanish town which has won awards for being one of the wonders of Spain.

The apartment is spread over 2 floors with a living and dining area, a fully equipped, modern kitchen and a shower room upstairs and a lovely, furnished balcony overlooking the Frigiliana botanical gardens and beautiful Andalusian countryside.

The lower floor has a double bedroom, twin bedroom (both with large, fitted wardrobes) and good sized family bathroom. There is also a furnished terrace accessible from the main bedroom. Both the upstairs balcony and downstairs terrace benefit from morning shade and afternoon sun, with the sun setting directly opposite the apartment.

The accommodation offers air conditioning installed (August 2017) in the main living area and both bedrooms, free high speed wifi and full satellite TV system with access to all sports (BT Sports, Sky Sports etc), movies, kids channels, box sets and UK/European channels.

There is a fantastic, large and well maintained communal pool available within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Note the pool opens from 1st April to 31st October and closes during the winter.

The apartment is split over 2 floors. The first floor boasts a modern lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and modern shower room with wash hand basin and WC. The Balcony has lovely views over the botanical gardens and out across to the Andalusian countryside with stunning sunsets.

The lower ground floor has 2 bedrooms one with twin beds and the master which has a king size. Each room has plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The nearest beach is in Nerja, with the town being significantly larger than Frigiliana. This has many bars, shops, restaurants and places of interest to visit. It is easy to access by car which is approximately 6 km away and within a 10 minute drive. The local bus service is also available at a cost of approx €1 per person, along with a taxi rank should you prefer.
