Wir hatten das Glück, dass es die ganze Woche Sommerwetter war, also verbrachten wir viel Zeit draußen. Bei der Ankunft war alles sehr sauber und das finden wir immer schön und wichtig. Leider verbrennen Spanier ihren Müll regelmäßig draußen und wir finden diesen Brandgeruch irritierend. Wir wissen auch, dass die Besitzer wenig dagegen tun können. Positiv ist, dass es in dieser Zeit im Allgemeinen recht ruhig ist. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und haben sich mehrfach entschuldigt, weil bei der Abholung die falschen Kunden mitgenommen wurden und wir daher länger warten mussten. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist steil und der letzte Teil führt über Betonstraßen, die noch steiler waren. Die Auffahrt war auch sehr steil. Übrigens kann man in 45 Minuten einen schönen Spaziergang nach Frigiliana machen und das lohnt sich sehr. Trotz der beschriebenen Punkte hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche."

The villa offers a range of guest accommodation, 4 bedrooms in the Main villa, including a studio apartment with separate garden access, and a 2 bedroom apartment located with the pool.

A special feature of the property is its pool, possibly the largest in the area, and measuring 18m x 6m. The terrace surrounding the pool benefits from a gentle breeze on hot days and is well-equipped with sun loungers (12), parasols and outdoor shower. The dining room features indoor dining for 12 opening to a large shaded terrace and a large outdoor dining table. Close by is a further BBQ (charcoal) and cooking area.

Upstairs, the master bedroom, with super king sized bed, has a private terrace with incredible views and is served by a bathroom with a large bath and separate shower. Conveniently close to the master bedroom is a further twin bedroom (double and single bed), perfect for children or adults alike. A double bedroom (king size bed) /bathroom suite is located on the ground floor providing level access from the front entrance.

At garden level, there is a well-equipped studio apartment suite with twin beds, kitchenette (no hob), living area and shower room. An adjacent al fresco dining area is perfect for a garden breakfast.

Unser Highlight war der Billiatdtisch auf der zweiten Terrasse, wo hat man schon seinen eigenen Pool und Billardtisch? Man muss allerdings wissen, dass man ca. 25min in die Stadt/ zum Supermarkt mit dem Auto wissen. Wen das nicht stört, der wird seinen Ttaumurlaub erleben. Our townhouse is located in the pitoresque village of Frigiliana only 5 km from Nerja.
The house is modern and decorated in scandinavian style in 2016.
The entrance floor has a spacious living room, kitchen, guest toilet and balcony/terass with dining table and a new Weber barbecue (gas). From the terrace you have a stunning view over the sea and the mountains.
At the lower floor you find three bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms new from 2021 with heating floors. From here you have access to the second terass with a lounge area and a few steps further down the pool terrace (7 x 3,5 meters, 140 cm depth). At the pool terrace there are sun chairs and parasols as well as a smaller dining place.
All rooms are equipped with modern and silent air condition systems.
From the villa you have direct access to a range of various hiking trails in the mountains as well as a range of cafés and restaurants in the Frigiliana village.

We are 2.5 kilometers from Frigiliana, which has many restaurants and bars. It is 7 minutes from the beaches of Nerja and Torrox.

Costa del sol - Axarquía ,country, has the best climate in Europe: Until a few years ago when rural tourism took off, Axarquia was one of Andalucia's forgotten areas. Major attractions are the spectacular unspoilt countryside and coastal villages. The hill and mountain scenery are ablaze with flowers and blossom from January onwards. Shepherds lead their goats and sheep through hills and valleys, eagles soar the skies and pretty, unspoiled white villages abound, each having a version of local sweet wine made from sun-dried grapes.

Axarquia is riven with deep valleys lined with terraces and irrigation channels that go back to the time of Muslim occupation. Almost all the villages dotted with olive-trees, almond and vine-planted hillsides are of Arab origin and the influence is seen in the layout of the narrow, winding streets lined with white-washed houses reflecting the sunlight.

Land of contrast: Axarquia is a land of contrast where high mountains look down upon the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol. The highest mountain, in the northeast of the area, is La Maroma which reaches an altitude of 2,080 metres and is snow-capped in the winter in contrast to sunbathers on the beaches below from November to May . Skiing is enjoyed in Sierra Nevada resort, less than 1,5 hours drive away. There is also a wide choice of golf courses and other sports available all year round.

Archaeological remains from Phoenecian, Carthaginian, Roman and Arab eras dot the countryside and coastline, whilst artifacts dating from 30,000BC to the Bronze Age can be seen in underground caves notably at Nerja and Rincon de la Victoria

As the temperature in late September is quite nice in southern Spain, the gathering places outside are important. They were all perfect - the pool, the grill-place etc. And the view towards the beautiful small town, Frigiliana and the nearby mountains as well. The cleaning of the whole property could not have been done better upon arrival, and the hostess made us really feel welcome. It was a great stay for all of us."

Beautifully appointed stylish duplex apartment. Located in the old quarter of Frigiliana, which has been awarded as one of the loveliest places to stay in Spain.

At 435m of altitude, it is a typical Andalusian inland village with narrow, cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses, 50 km from Málaga and 6 km from Nerja and the “Costa del Sol”. Frigiliana was named prettiest village of Andalusia in 1997 and is now protected.

The appartment is on the border of the unique street crossing the village ; Therefore the appartment is easily accessible, you dot not have to walk up hundreds of steps as it is the case for a lot of penthouses/apartements in Frigiliana, and mainly you have the views over the Mediterranean sea and Mountains. There are free car park spaces available all along the street. The pool is quiet and rarely frequented by residents.

The electricity costs are included in the price but an extra could be charged at the end of the stay if the consumption exceeds 9 kwh / day.

The romantic coastal town with many shops of all kinds.

Thursdays market. Sunday flea market. There are many angled-maline alleys and breathtaking views of the coastline and beaches. The Balcon de Europa(church) with a wonderful view of the sea invites you to stroll. The beach La Buriana to eat paella, also many small coves can be found along the coast.
The coastal road along the direction
Torrox can be found on the sea very nice restaurants and playas where you can park well.
