The location has plenty of parking and is a 5 minute stroll to the main Marsala square. We took this stroll as a family every night to seek dinner, coffee, Gelato or cannoli depending on what we were doing that day. From the location it was easy for us to make day trips as far as Agrigento to the Valley of the Temples, to Castelvetrano in the mountains, to Mazara Del Valle and also north to Trapani and Erice. We even took a half day to visit Cefalu to the other side of Palermo and made it back for lqte dinner. The support of suggestions prior to our stay gave us good ideas and the responsiveness during our stay continued. If you are exploring, touring or working across western Sicily, Marsala is a great base camp and Vito and Sabine the most wonderful hosts. We definitely plan to stay with them again when next we stay in western Sicily."

- "We arrived in the neighborhood but could not find the apartment. We were told that the brother to the property manager would meet us. We accidentally saw someone driving down a very narrow dirt road and assumed it was him so we followed. It was him, but he made no effort to find us, it was just accidental that we saw him. The roadway to the property is extremely narrow and rough and was almost too narrow for our 9 person van. The property is somewhat inaccurately described. We were a family of 9 cousins. There were 4 individual rooms with baths at the entrance to the property. These rooms are more like what you would find at summer camp in the rather than decent bedrooms for adults. The bedrooms and toilets were small. The showers were so small that you could hardly turn around. In addition to the 4 rooms at the property entrance there was a bedroom with bath about 200’ downhill and adjacent to a swimming pool. This was were the kitchen and refrigerator was located for our entire group. The bedroom portion of this unit did not have air conditioning, so it was hot sleeping at night. The best things about this entire property is the pool, the pool deck and a wonderful view to the west and the water. The property is not well maintained and the lawns needed mowing. However, I would have sacrificed the views for better sleeping, dining and toilet accommodations. I do not recommend this property unless you want a kid’s summer camp type experience."
