The position - The villa is situated directly on the Lagoon of Marsala candidate to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy this spectacle of nature from our condo, this is why we think it is almost unique.

Marsala and Trapani Province offer history, art and culture, but also untouched nature and excellent cuisine. It is allowing easy access to world-class sites (Selinunte, Segesta, Agrigento), the medieval village of Erice, the Egadi Islands, the city of Trapani.

The Stagnone of Marsala is one of the best places in the world to practice Windsurfing and Kitesurfing, with several clubs nearby.

The Villa has a parking area, the garden and the first floor terrace you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the sea.

Staying here you can relax and admire the wonderful sunsets on the Egadi islands, enjoying a relaxing swim in the pool or a quiet walk among the olive trees and citrus fruits of Sicily A few miles away you can visit the cities of Trapani, Erice, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, San Vito Lo Capo, the archaeological areas of Mozia, Segesta and Selinunte, and make excursions to the islands of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo and to the naturalistic reserves of Stagnone and Zingaro.

The villa includes three independent buildings:

"Il primo" is composed of a large rustic living room with veranda equipped with outdoor stove and barbecue, pool and garden view, internal kitchenette, a bathroom, a mezzanine with double bed, there are five other rooms including 3 doubles 1 triple or quadruple 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds or possibly double all with en-suite bathroom, for a total of about 16 beds.

"The second" building consists of a living room with veranda, kitchenette, double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a bathroom, a mezzanine with double bed, all for 4/6 beds.

- "We stayed at Vincenzo’s villa for a week in July as a big group of 14. The villa is beautiful - large swimming pool set next to a grass lawn and adjacent to olive and lime tree orchards with a stunning lookout point with a panorama from Marsala to trapani. After BBQs at the main house we took ourselves down to the view point to enjoy the sunsets over Favignana whilst the kids played on the grass - really stunning moments that became our little routine. The rooms in the main house were light, spacious, well renovated and all with their own en suite bathrooms so nobody had to share. Enzo was a fantastic host, checking in on us with top tips, helping us find local produce and even getting us preferential rates on an umbrella by the beach! By hydro fail it takes only 20 minutes to go to Egadi Islands ( Favignana and Levanzo) and 45 minutes to go to Marettimo.

Baglio Paola 1 is on two levels plus terrace and has a large and very luxuriant garden maintained by me and friends who love plants; it is tastefully furnished and has every type of comfort: washing machine, microwave, oven, television, barbecue. It is composed of three large bedrooms on the first floor, one double, one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed. Two bathrooms, one large with shower on the ground floor, and one on the first floor plus two outdoor showers in the garden .. Kitchen, living area with patio and large, lush garden with barbecue. From the terrace you can enjoy a unique and enchanting view with sunset over the Egadi islands.

The other house Baglio Paola 2 consists of a double bedroom attached to a large living room with two beds (a third bed can be added) and a large wood-burning stove that will warm up your winter evenings. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The house has a large bathroom with shower and an outdoor shower. You will be welcomed on one side by a quiet and pleasant garden, on the other by a cool pergola where you can eat, and a large solarium. Parking and August music at the boeo lido

Interior:
The property consists of a one-storey main building of about 500 sq m. From the entrance, you cross the parking area to the large covered veranda which goes into a hallway leading to the two wings of the house. In the first wing is the fully-equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms overlooking the pool, two bathrooms with shower, and a twin bedroom. In the second wing is a large, luxurious living room with satellite TV, a billiard room, four double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with shower and one with double sofabed added. This wing is completed by another three bathrooms with shower. Air conditioning with hydronic system in the bedrooms.
Park:
The exterior of the property consists of a terrain of about 2000 sq m, with a parking area for 6 cars at the front and a large courtyard at the back with the pool and a pinewood with small hedges. There is also a paved area in front of the property that serves as a solarium and relaxation area for outdoor dining, equipped with tables. All around the property are hedges, tall trees and an area of typical Mediterranean-type lawn. Hidden in the park is a beautiful bocce court where you can play and have fun during the summer days. Lastly, going up to the terrace via an external flight of steps, you come to an area equipped with a hydromassage tub with chromotherapy where you can relax in total privacy (the hydromassage tub is available from 7 pm to 9 pm on request with extra cost).
Swimming Pool:
The pool, accessible at the back of the house from both the garden and the billiard room, measures 10 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1,20 m. Lined in PVC, it has salt purification, external and internal lighting and a ladder for access to the water. The paved solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, chairs and small tables. It is available to guests from the last saturday of April to the first saturday of October.

- "This is an absolutely spectacular villa perfect for large family trips or a group of friends looking to unwind and relax. The property is truly impressive and the refurbishment of the original building has been done to an exceptional standard. The villa benefits from all the comforts (washing machine, wifi etc) you'd need for a longer stay. It has great kitchen facilities which we used to cook quite a few meals to enjoy around the dining table that easily seats 12-14 people. Between the swimming pool, jacuzzi, snooker room, a boules court and BBQ there's plenty of entertainment for even a full house. The layout works exceptionally well. It is in an L-shape around the pool with bedrooms/batchrooms in the two wings while the dining room, breakfast room, lounge and kitchen are between the two wings. And if you're looking for more you can always book a delicious and very reasonably priced dinner at Zattar Beer & Grill which is right next door. Communication with the hosts was a quick and easy, and they looked after us very well indeed. I shall definitely be returning!!"

This listing is an exception to the “pictures can be deceiving” rule. The photos in the listing are certainly beautiful, but simply don’t do it justice. Although the property maintains its old world charm, everything is state of the art; windows, doors, appliances, etc. The private swimming pool is certainly no exception. After traveling most of the world, I thought I’ve seen it all, but this pool is truly amazing. The listing describes the pool as being the highlight to the property.
