- "The host was friendly and very helpful. He met us in the village to take us to the villa. On arriving, the view from the villa was breathtaking - no high rise buildings and lovely and quiet. Our view was of the sea and hills and the pool was amazing and lovely and warm. The villa itself was just right. There are two bedrooms with air conditioning which was really needed during the heatwave. The upstairs doesn't have air conditioning and would only recommend using this room if it's not during the summer as it gets really hot. Our 18 and 21 year olds were happy to share a room and it worked out well. We feel that a car is needed to explore the surrounding areas and the walk to the restaurants is just under a mile which would be ok but it's a steep hill so not easy to walk up and down in the height of summer. Any other time of the year it would be fine as we like walking. There are two really good restaurants in the village - one called Sikula with really polite and friendly staff and the other restaurant is a Trattoria which has a lovely view of the sea. There is also a little shop in the village. We would definitely recommend this villa - there is a large window which gives a panoramic view of the infinity pool and scenery. We had such a lovely relaxing time here, even though we were caught up in the heatwave. Loved it! Thank you"

The house is placed on the coast, about 15-20 m above the sea level, so you can see most of the Cefalu with La Roca included. The view can be enjoyed from the huge terrace with couches, armchairs, awning etc. Terrace was the main living space for our group during stay. 2. There is almost private access to the see, so even though we were visiting in August (high of the Italian tourist season) there were never many people there - only people from the houses next door. Descent to the sea (and the seabed itself) is rocky, but it was not much of a problem. Whats more it give the opportunity to do some snorkeling and enjoy sea life. 3. The house is really nice and it has everything anyone would need. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker, 4 bedrooms each with its own air conditioning, 2 bathrooms, 3 refrigerators, a few of outside showers so you can rinse after swimming in the sea. There is also a big living room, although we never really used it because we've spent most of our time socializing on the terrace. Whats more there is a grill and a great, big, brick pizza oven in the back. 4. The host was marvelous. Although she was not there so we've never met her in person, the communication was great and she made sure we had everything we needed. She answered all of our questions before and during the stay and would help us every way she could. We were taken care of by 2 housekeepers but they were never intrusive or nosy, always polite and helpful. One example of how great the host and housekeepers were: The thing about our group - we like to cook and eat good, so when we found out there was original, wood fueled, Italian brick pizza oven in the back of the garden we just had to try to use it. We've contacted the host to ask if it would be possible and not only it was not a problem, one of the housekeepers brought us wood and explained how everything works, gave us tips on how to use the oven, when its hot enough to operate, how to turn pizza inside etc. All in all it was one of the best and most memorable experiences during our stay. One tip I have for the future guests is to have at least one car, so it would ease commuting to and from Cefalu, to do everyday shopping etc. The city is a walking distance away, but the road between Cefalu and the house does not always have a sidewalk. All in all it was great stay, can't recommend it enough."

In Sicily Villa Rose is set at less than 10 minutes away from Cefalù (6 km) and its magnificent beaches and architectural beauties. Nestled on the side of a hill 250 meters above sea level, the estate is surrounded by old-growth Oak woods, citrus and olive groves. There is lots of space, very private and the entire villa only for yourself ,perfect for family with joung childern , The view outside is breathtakingly amazing and staring out you can feel one with the sea. The Ac was specially good on this 37 degree days. It has a wonderful pool & Patio. The house is located near the beach and a couple restaurants . Very convenient. As far as communication at the beginning it was difficult. it seems she was learning to use Vrbo. Ones we arrived the communication was very quick and Tiziiana responded at every question promptly always trying to help. I recomend the house very much."
