- "Stayed one night because it was so close to the airport. Wish we would have booked a few more nights. The family running this small family hotel (only 6 rooms) was very nice and welcoming. Fantastic estate with farmland surroundings. we also bought a bottle of their own wine production that was really good and enjoyed it at the patio. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay there again. Only hassel was that the hotel was quite difficult to find. A suggestion that would help a lot would be to put up a sign at the main junction where you cross the railway."

- "The is no private parking. I parked my car in the street." - "A slightly odd little place to stay but overall it was clean, safe & perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights in that area. If you are going to Stagnone for kite surfing then this is an absolute perfect location - Literally a minutes walk down to the coast where the sky was full of kite surfers - beautiful sight. It is middle distance between Trapani & Marsala - both about 25 minutes away. Marsala is a fantastic place to visit - bustling shopping streets, great food & lovely museums. The room & bathroom were large, modern & very clean. Towels & bedding all clean & soft. Air conditioning very functional (which was needed in 40 ish temperatures). Maybe I read the description wrong but I assumed the Kitchenette was part of our own room - however the kitchen area is shared for the accommodation & located in the central reception area. Also I assumed breakfast was included but it was paid if required. The accommodation is located off a backstreet towards the beach & feels like you are amongst local’s houses. Parking was free & safe. "

Here, at A Modo Mio, our hosts kindly offered us a cold drink, seeing us arrive a bit hot and sweaty. They made a great effort to communicate with us through the translator, rather than just handing us the keys and a piece of paper with relevant information, The breakfast was filled with fresh fruits and pastries and meats and cheeses and good coffee - the pastries were freshly baked and delicious and the fruits were riper and sweeter than any we had gotten so far, even from fruit vendors. All of the food was artisanal in looks and taste. They put a great deal of effort into their beautiful B&B and were genuinely happy to have us. It was obvious that not only did they enjoy being hosts, but also they have a great love for their slice of the world, telling us about Masala and the beauty of the countryside. A Modo Mio is in a great location as well. I'm sorry we only stayed one night ....."
