- "We loved our stay in Johannesburg. The location was within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants. When we had an issue with our stove, the staff quickly responded with a replacement. We did have someone (who was possibly intoxicated?) try to get into our apartment at night while we were staying there, which was startling. We called the front desk and they said they would look into it. Staff was concerned with the safety around the building at night and one of their security staff walked with us to the neighborhood grocery store the first evening, which was very kind."

- "The apartment's location is excellent, just a short walk from the Rosebank mall. However, several issues during our stay left a sour taste. Upon arrival, we noticed a musty smell in the sofa or throw rug, despite spraying with Lysol. Additionally, the walls and ceiling showed signs of cracks. Maintenance issues were also a concern, with three non-functional outlets and a leaking washer/dryer. While the host was responsive, a pre-check inspection would have revealed these problems. I could not sleep the very last night due to heavy winds rattling doors and windows. I knew it was the winds but all night it sounded like someone was breaking in. Despite these issues, the apartment has potential. With a few repairs and improvements, it could be a great option. However, based on our experience, I would recommend future guests to carefully inspect the property before booking and be prepared for potential maintenance issues. "
