Beautiful expansive False Bay sea views from our apartment in Heldervue, Somerset West.
Wi-Fi with backup battery power ensuring connectively during load shedding. Lay back enjoy the summer days in our solar heated pool. Visit well known wine estates, Lourensford, Vergeleven or Morgenster and food markets. Activities close by include hiking at Helderberg Nature reserve and scenic golf courses De Zalze, Erinvale or Strand. The Strand beach 10minutes drive for beach lovers. Stellenbosch 20minutes.

The space
A beautiful, light and well equipped apartment. Well connected to surrounding towns Stellenbosch, Strand and Gordons bay. Airport is 20 minutes away. It features a bedroom-lounge area, flat screen TV with Netflix and free uncapped Wi-Fi, with speed 20mbps (upload & download) WiFi operational during loadshedding. The kitchen has a microwave, countertop stove, toaster, fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, all crockery, pots/pans for cooking. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and basin.
Right outside the lounge area, you will find a seating area with a braai/barbeque.

Upstairs on the balcony, is a table with chairs for enjoy a cup of coffee or sundowners enjoying the beautiful sunsets our coast has to offer.

South Africa has an electricity shortage and experiences daily powers outages. Due to these outages we sometimes experience water shortages during the day as water cannot be pumped into the reservoirs. This is totally beyond our control as hosts, and we will not issue refunds or discounts based on this, we will assist the best possible.
We do supply a portable backup light and Wi-Fi will work as we have a backup UPS for the WiFi Router for 4-6 hours. A hot water flask is also available for coffee/tea.

Pool water is cold during the winter months, and normally closed with the cover. Please let us know if you would like to swim and we will open it.
You will be staying in the property with us. We have 2 children, and a dog.
Safety is a concern, we request that you ensure the main gate is closed at all times and the gates into pool area are always closed. Our children are social and enjoy meeting guests, if you are wanting a quiet stay without children and pets, please keep in mind they can be noisy and busy.

Long term stays - we replace linen and clean once a week, should you require cleaning on other days, it will be at an extra cost of R275/day.

Water Conservation: In an attempt to preserve our future water sources, we ask that you do your part and be mindful about water consumption during your stay.
