Ideally located for a stay to discover Rouen, Madame Capitaine is a stone's throw from Rouen train station (1 hour and 15 minutes from Paris Saint-Lazare and 1 hour and 40 minutes by car) and a 7-minute walk from the city centre.

Inside the station is an Intermarché, open every day except Sunday, where you can buy what you need for cooking, as well as a few bakeries, where you can buy freshly baked pastries, sandwiches and coffee. There is also a large Monoprix, a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Rouen, which is also open on Sundays.

There is no private car park available on site, however, you can park your vehicle in the streets near the accommodation according to the parking rates in force in the city and in the parking spaces just below the apartment for free on Sundays, public holidays and at night. There is also a large car park next to the train station, a 30-second walk from the apartment.

The area around the station is just a few minutes' walk from the historic city centre. As you make your way down to the old town, you can quickly reach iconic sites such as Rouen Cathedral, the Gros-Horloge and the Place du Vieux-Marché. TEOR (Transport Est-Ouest Rouennais):
