A 1-minute walk from the Maison de la Boétie and the Saint-Sacerdos Cathedral, this 66 m2 suite and its planted and furnished terrace of 29 m2 facing south / southeast, immerse you in a chic and refined atmosphere. Ideal location, quiet, on foot, 15 minutes from downtown, 4 minutes from the train station. A pretty decoration, a haven of peace. The owners, young retirees, speak fluent English and basic Spanish, and regularly receive foreigners .... The place is located near major tourist spots and is suitable for those looking for peace in the evening as well as those who want to enjoy the entertainment of the city .... there is room to park a vehicle.

This photos do not do the gardens justice. The plot is large and wraps round the apartment with the main direction South to South West. The tress give privacy from surrounding properties but do not overshadow the apartment. Patio - Large with a shaded area and also a non-shaded area. Very quiet considering it is in the town. The swimming pool pump water gives a sound like a garden water feature which is strangely calming. Swimming Pool - Wonderful and the also a suntrap. Parking - Plenty of space and shaded to some degree. Location to Town. We walked in many times. On google maps it gives 19 minutes to walk, the property is actually 1 minute up the hill from google positioning so allow 20 minutes to cathedral. It is an accurate reflection. My only warning is that the whole walk into town is without any hills except the last 50 to 60 metres where there is a steep hill. If you have any walking difficulty beware. Access at the property. The house and the apartment are on a hill side. There are steps down through the garden to the apartment, it would not be suitable for wheel chairs nor would I recommend for anybody with walking difficulty. Overall a lovely place to stay with great hosts. If another visit to Sarlat area this is where I would try to book first. Thank you Claudine and Alain for allowing us to use your home. "
