House was clean, all practical things thought of with towels, linen, kitchen equipment.Nicole very kindly kept the pool open for us even though it was the last week of October and with sun every day with 23/24C it was much used! One thing to note - the location on VRBO map has the house in central Sarlat but it’s not, the listing rightly says it’s 3.5k outside Sarlat, so not sure why the map location is different. Also we wanted to be south of Sarlat near the Greenway cycle route and so we asked which side of Sarlat it was and were told by Louis, the booking assistant, that it was north of Sarlat and so we don’t book for the first few weeks of exploring but upon deciding to book anyway, discovered that it’s actually dead west of Sarlat which was better for us in the end. Otherwise all the communications were great and Nicole the host was amazing and helpful with lots of things and wanting to make our stay comfortable. We hope to visit again for sure!"

Cezanne is the perfect base from which to explore the town and the surrounding countryside. It’s ideal for couples, and is within an easy 5 minute stroll into the medieval centre with its lively markets, bistros, picturesque squares and historic buildings.

The apartment faces south and is consequently bright and sunny. It has an inviting balcony which is very popular with guests who frequently take breakfast or lunch or an aperitif in the sunshine whilst enjoying the open view over Sarlat.
