- "Arrived after-hours, so followed instructions and collected our room keys which were waiting for us at Oz’Inn, just 2 minutes walk from Natureva Spa. Had 2 consecutive bookings (3N each) and the next day we asked reception to keep us in the same room - they obliged and we were able to keep the same room for all 6 nights - reception and admin staff were very helpful! The 1-bed apartment is well equipped with kitchen equipment, TV, etc. For a small fee you can use the washer and dryer behind reception to do laundry. The Cap d’Agde resort itself is good - it’s great to be ‘free’ and safe around the apartment, on the beach, and even walking around the rest of the complex, but we kept things mainstream. The 2 supermarkets (the Spar in Heliopolis, and the Casino in Port Ambonne) are both well-stocked). There’s a self-service laundry (in Heliopolis) despite other reviewers saying that this facility was lacking, and there are many bars and eateries to suit your taste (not catering well to those with allergies or intolerances). There are many shops (in Heliopolis and Port Ambonne), so don’t worry if you forget anything, or want to dress up for a Cap d’Agde ’party’. Natureva Spa itself has an extensive spa menu, indoor pool, sauna, hammam, etc. (not 24/7). If in Cap d’Agde again, we’d likely stay at Natureva Spa. "

Really close to the ocean with a gate about 100m away from the beach. There was a tap to rinse the sand off your feet right at the gate. The villas looked lovely, but we stayed in a standard room. The restaurant was closed between 14-17. Great parking at the hotel with gates all around. They took a deposit of 100€ that will be refunded 2 days after check in. Cleaning the kitchen was not included in the room service. It was another 20€ for them to clean it. The balcony floors were sandy for previous guests. Overall an ok hotell, but we will not go back."

- "Near beach. Decent bungalows. Good pool. Good food!" - "Excellent location , it took only 15 mins walk to the Village. Please do yourself a favor by paying a bit more to stay at the hotel part. We made a mistake of booking in the residence at first, and it’s disappointing. In the residence, the bungalow was small and it located waaay in the back of the area. It took a while to walk to the front gate. They didn’t clean your space daily either. Then, we moved to the hotel part. It was much better! The room was spacious and well-ventilated. The cleaning staff came everyday, although they did come too early (sometimes we need to skip the cleaning simply bcs we’re not awake yet!). It placed close to the entrance, however there’s no concrete road that leads to the bungalow. To access it, we need to walk through a field full of acorns and dry leaves! Inside the area, they offered a lot of entertainment. They have a big pool, sun chairs, foyer with a lot of seatings, a bar, a coffee machine(!), pingpong tables, even mini golf area and tennis courts! I also liked it that they provide laundry room with three well-functioning washing machines and dryers. You only need to pay 9 euros to activate the machines! Overall, we would return and immediately stay in the hotel part. They could do better, but we’re pretty satisfied for now."

- "Could not expect such a great place and such a cordial reception after driving a couple hours up and up… Nicely respirated previously abandoned house became a cozy home for the owners and for us! We had only 1 night, if I knew, I would booked a week. The stone walls of this small village smell history… Nice cozy room, clean, quiet… only heard old church bell at 6am, was sleeping like a baby! Breakfast was with eggs and nice yoghurt, cold cuts… all you need before long drive. If I knew owner Outi could cook dinner for us (it was Monday evening), we definitely would better asked her to cook. She and her husband (on top of his business and professional repairman he plays musical instruments… also professionally) for the high season open a restaurant, and they have a beautiful court / garden in front of their house. All produce is local and soooo delicious! And they can deliver! Good job, guys! Wish you many good guests and a great season! We will be definitely back!"

- "We had a fantastic time at the gite in Ichis, Rémi and Roseline were very friendly hosts and Rémi gave us some excellent advice about hiking in the local area. The birdsong we heard each morning was a great start to the day. You can walk directly from the gite into the mountains or travel a short distance by car to the Gorges d’Heric where we saw Mouflons and many birds of prey. There is a nice Boulangerie in the nearby village of Prémian and the medieval town of Olargues is only 15 minutes drive away. Following Rémi’s suggestion, we went to Minerve for a day which was spectacular town sited on rock at the convergence of two rivers. We also visited Carcassone which was enjoyable but too busy for us, we thought that Minerve was much better! We also went to the Narbonne area and visited Gruissan which was a really good place to visit the salt pans. We saw hundreds of Flamingos, an Osprey, Marsh harriers and many other birds, it was an amazing experience. The gite was very well equipped with everything that you could need for a holiday, there wasn’t anything lacking. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time there so we have decided to return at some point in the future to visit the places we didn’t have a chance to. In one of the sunniest regions of France, between the sea and the mountains, this village house has been extensively renovated in line with the romantic character and rustic charm of its natural old stone walls and timber beams.

Simon and Anna live invisibly in the main house next door and are always available to share their love and knowledge of the area.

The house faces south so benefits from natural sunlight all year-round into the airy open plan ground floor and upstairs bedrooms.

The light and airy open plan ground floor provides ideal sociable living, with a real log fire for those chilly evenings or to the private garden with an outdoor kitchen equiped with sink, fridge, dining table and gas BBQ.

On the ground floor you'll find a fully equipped new kitchen which includes a Bertazzoni range oven with 5 burner gas hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and expresso machine. The cupboards are well stocked with good quality wine glasses and crockery.

Also, a new bathroom with plenty of hot water, power shower, sink and WC.

On the mezzanine floor there are two large bedrooms, bedroom one has a king size double bed with air conditioning. Bedroom two has a day bed which can be converted to a double, there is also an additional single bed. Both bedrooms have beautiful views over the pool and surrounding vineyards. Downstairs in the lounge there is a comfortable double sofa bed. All windows are fitted with roller mosquito blinds.

Please note, Children above the age of eight are very welcome. Sadly we are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 8 including babies and toddlers.

The medieval village of Neffies is a genuinely friendly rural community with authentic French character typified by the regular "Allo Allo" announcements though the church tower loud speakers. Most amenities are on your doorstep, a boulangerie, small local shop and two excellent restaurants - ‘L’Escampette and Le very Table - both offering excellent food and great value also Wine bar Nomad offering a good selection of wine, beers and tapas.

We recommend renting a car during your stay as you'll want to explore the local vineyards, markets, medieval villages and other historic buildings, there are also Mediterranean beaches within 30 minutes drive. Just 10 minutes drive is Pezenas described in the Rough Guide as “one of the singularly most beautiful towns in the French south west, endowed with an almost overwhelming concentration of grand architecture”. You may also wish to visit the town of Carcassonne perhaps the most impressive fortified medieval town to be found which is within a 90 minute drive.

Montpellier and Beziers airports served primarily by Ryanair, AirFrance, EasyJet, and British Airways are all within a 45 minute drive.

The house, all in white lacquered wood, exterior and interior, is full of charm, not overlooked, comfortable, in a very "Seaside" cabin style, with enclosed grounds.
