Parking is in the street paid but there is an option for €17 to park underground but this goes from 3 pm to 3 pm. The reception are extremely helpful. 1 elevator for 3 floors. Rooms are a large size with kitchenette. The bed in our room was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms are very clean and quiet at night. Tips for other travelers - there is no toaster in the kitchenette but there is adequate utensils and hot plates with no oven. TV has chromecast. This was such a beautiful place to stay we extended our 2 nights to 6. The bar is limited but there are many bars and cafes nearby. If you are driving the final streets to reach the hotel are easy to navigate. This hotel is an excellent option to stay in Nimes. "

You have access to the Arena car park for one car (maximum height: 1m90). The car park is a 5-minute walk from the apartment (about 200 meters).

“Au Coeur de Nîmes” is a charming one-bedroomed flat in an 1891 heritage building in the medieval pedestrianized centre of Nîmes. Extremely light and airy, with wooden parquet flooring and original beams, it features a spacious living and dining room, fully equipped open kitchen, study, bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. The pet tortoises were a hit with the kids. It's tucked away in a residential area which is about 30-40mins walk into the Nimes centre. There are buses but we chose to drive and park in the Jean Jarres underground car park and the walk in (only 5 mins drive). Lovely patisserie/ boulangerie a short walk away as well as wine cellar, small super market and rotisserie (book day in advance!) for lazy days at home. The area is rich for activity - the coast is about an hour drive, pont du gard/ provence towns about 30mins depending on where you want to go. We flew into Montpellier which was less than an hour drive and very quick if you go on the toll road (we didnt).
