- "It was in a great location and although it was in the centre of Grenoble it was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were ther 3 weeks and the bed linen and towels were changed every week. THe coffee maker was great but took up a lot of space. The fridge was large enough for 2 of us. The shower was excellent and the bathroom was clean and sufficient. Overall there was not enough space re: cooking. There could have been an extra unit/shelf/counter in order to prepare food and store food. We had a few issues which were sorted very quickly. Great time there and would happily return or recommned it to friends."

- "Great property. I liked having a small kitchen :). " - "Stayed solo one night before going the way to the airport - it was a perfect place for this. Our kettle had a crack in it, we notified the front desk. The room was set up with a portable crib - our kids are older and needed the pull-out instead. The coverlet for the sofa bed had a big stain on it, but the kids never had to use it since it was so hot anyway. One of the hand towels also had small stains on it, but there were plenty of others provided that we just put it to the side. Notified the front desk about both and they apologized. The neighborhood was overall quiet but very dirty with a lot of trash and broken glass and if you walk from the train station (or want to get to the downtown area) like we did on arrival - you have to walk through an area of people living in tents with a sign up that says “Watch your children” - not the most comforting. However, we did figure out the tram system and it’s easy to hop on just one street over from the hotel. Staff was very friendly though and the room was clean, other than the above mentioned coverlet and towel. "

The kitchenette area was pretty well equipped with electric hob, fridge (with freezer compartment),microwave oven & other utensils etc. My only problem/suggestion is that I think this chain would do better having either a combination oven and microwave, or just an oven, instead of a microwave. But with the hob, is possible to cook nutritious meals. There is also a safe in the room to keep valuables safe and secure underground parking is available, should you have a car. This is a real bonus in the city of Grenoble. There is also a laundrette in the hotel, should you need it and also wireless internet access. The staff in this hotel were all very friendly and welcoming, and spoke good english as well as french. The situation of the hotel is good - easy access to a whole range of shops (Grand Place is just opposite) and supermarket, and also the trams are just a few mins walk away too for you to explore Grenoble cheaply. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone."

- "The Séjours & Affaires is an excellent choice for longer stays in the (at least 4 days) in the Grenoble area, for example of you are working in one of the businesses based in Europole or the Presqu'ile area. It's not luxurious, as it is also used by students, and I only spoke to the reception for the first time on my final day. The bed was comfortable enough and there were 2 chairs (not always the case in budget hotels' double rooms), with a desk/work area for one person. This lacked adequate lighting, so if I wanted to read I had to sit on the bed. There's masses of wardrobe space and drawers too. There's also a kitchenette, with a slightly random collection of equipment and no coffee filter. A two ring electric hob worked fine once I worked out how to switch it on - you have to leave your finger on the button for about 5 seconds - it's a safety measure, but not explained! There's a standard sized fridge with very small freezer compartment - it's not too noisy, and also a microwave and electric kettle. Neighbours were quiet, but often had strong cooking smells (lamb?) The TV only offers basic French language channels. The shower/toilet was effective, but I found there was a risk of knocking the temperature control while standing in the shower, and suddenly getting scalding (or cold) water. The hot water tank is above the WC, and I managed to bang my head on it once! It's close to a Tram stop (Cite Internationale towards Oxford on line B)."
