- "It was in a great location and although it was in the centre of Grenoble it was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were ther 3 weeks and the bed linen and towels were changed every week. THe coffee maker was great but took up a lot of space. The fridge was large enough for 2 of us. The shower was excellent and the bathroom was clean and sufficient. Overall there was not enough space re: cooking. There could have been an extra unit/shelf/counter in order to prepare food and store food. We had a few issues which were sorted very quickly. Great time there and would happily return or recommned it to friends."

- "Great property. I liked having a small kitchen :). " - "Stayed solo one night before going the way to the airport - it was a perfect place for this. Clean, modern, and conveniently located (right by the train station). Having a kitchenette is a major plus." - " " - "Good location, good breakfast, clean, everything you expect from an appartment. Iinternet not reliable, though..." - "Didn’t realize the rooms don’t really have air condition - even though the thermostat says “Air Conditioner”. The first night was very hot, even with windows open (however with no screens you have to put the curtains in front of the windows so no bugs (or birds) come in); the second night we were able to get a fan that moved the air around more. Our kettle had a crack in it, we notified the front desk. The room was set up with a portable crib - our kids are older and needed the pull-out instead. The coverlet for the sofa bed had a big stain on it, but the kids never had to use it since it was so hot anyway. One of the hand towels also had small stains on it, but there were plenty of others provided that we just put it to the side. Notified the front desk about both and they apologized. The neighborhood was overall quiet but very dirty with a lot of trash and broken glass and if you walk from the train station (or want to get to the downtown area) like we did on arrival - you have to walk through an area of people living in tents with a sign up that says “Watch your children” - not the most comforting. However, we did figure out the tram system and it’s easy to hop on just one street over from the hotel. Staff was very friendly though and the room was clean, other than the above mentioned coverlet and towel. "

- "Good and clean " - "good location" - "My stay on brit hotel was very satisfactory. Location is excellent and service from the staffs are very kind. I would stay here for my possible next visit." - "It's almost impossible to have a more convenient location. This is the main reason I booked this hotel. There are dozens of highly rated restaurants within minutes from the hotel. The one that I enjoyed the most was La belle idee. Hotel staff were great and very friendly. They helped me with information regarding local transportation and how to purchase and validate tram tickets. Downtown, la bastille, the river and other major attractions are within 15 minutes waking distance. If you want to enjoy Grenoble, walk as much as possible. The thing that I didn't like the most was the small room size, especially when compared with what you usually expect in the United States. However, this seems to be more or less standard size in these older buildings. Finding a significantly larger room comes with higher rates and a location much less convenient. I stayed for 6 nights so after my 3rd night it started feeling alright. The double bed was not the most comfortable but it was OK too. I hope the management considers upgrading their mattresses for more comfort. I would stay again if traveling solo. It would be much harder if my wife traveled with me with one or more of her luggages. I only had a carry-on so it was OK but there's no way you can open and organize a large luggage in my room. Perhaps, they have more spacious rooms that were not shown while booking because the hotel was nearly full. If this is the case, I'd love to stay here again."

- "Very close to running path, dinner can be obtained next door." - "It close to running paths for marathon training. " - "BIEN PASSE" - "One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because the booking site said it has a 24 hour reception desk - it doesn't! It has an out of hours automatic check in machine at the entrance - but this was out of order when I arrived. A note on the door gave a phone number to contact, which I did, and was given the entry code, which had been emailed to me THAT DAY. I was travelling during the day and did not have access to my emails - an email one day before my arrival, and/or a message to my phone, would have been more appropriate. The room was comfortable but the next day I discovered that I had suffered a number of bites from bed bugs - more than 40, in fact. I had to buy a fumigant to spray my luggage, car, etc and cream to treat the bites. I trust this information will be passed on to the hotel management and the problem dealt with. The man who provided the entry code by phone and was on the reception desk the following morning was very pleasant but unfortunately because of the problems I experienced, my stay was not enjoyable."

The kitchenette area was pretty well equipped with electric hob, fridge (with freezer compartment),microwave oven & other utensils etc. My only problem/suggestion is that I think this chain would do better having either a combination oven and microwave, or just an oven, instead of a microwave. But with the hob, is possible to cook nutritious meals. There is also a safe in the room to keep valuables safe and secure underground parking is available, should you have a car. This is a real bonus in the city of Grenoble. There is also a laundrette in the hotel, should you need it and also wireless internet access. The staff in this hotel were all very friendly and welcoming, and spoke good english as well as french. The situation of the hotel is good - easy access to a whole range of shops (Grand Place is just opposite) and supermarket, and also the trams are just a few mins walk away too for you to explore Grenoble cheaply.
