It is an easy trip in to the city for a full day of shopping. The train to Barcelona takes about 45 min and will drop you off right in the busy shopping center. In the evening, you can take the train back to relax in a seaside atmosphere. This is a great way to enjoy the best of both worlds.

- "A quiet break visiting friends in VNG" - "Me and my wife stayed here for more than two month (Nov/Dec/Jan) for a mixture of work and holiday. The description/pictures correctly reflect the apartment and the host provided all the relevant information. It is on 4th floor and the building has a lift. For both of us working WiFi/internet was important and it was alright. The apartment is facing the sea even though you can only glimpse it in the distance from the balcony. Every local infrastructure we could think of was just around the corner (super markets, shops, bars, etc) without being too close. Because Vilanova is a proper town rather than a tourist development, all local infrastructure was open (this being off season) even though we didn't notice loads of other tourists. The apartment is quiet without much noise from either street, churches, or trains. Because our car was too big for the underground parking, the host arranged parking on the Redbar (restaurant) parking space (gated, 24h accessible) about 3-4 blocks away. There is an easy train connection to Barcelona and Barcelona airport. If we wanted to spend more time in Catalonia, we would be happy to consider this apartment again. Definitely a "thumbs up"!"
