We'd like to bring two important things to your attention!

- We remind you that we have a dog on our property. Please never leave the gate ajar or open. Please do not let it enter the listing to protect potentially allergic guests.

- No cleaning fee is included when you book. That's why we'll ask you to remove your sheets, pillowcases, dishcloths, and bath towels and place them in the white basket in the bathroom. We also ask that you put away the dishes and place your garbage in the outside bin near the exit gate. Sweeping and cleaning the surfaces will be appreciated on the ground floor. Everything you need is of course at your disposal (sponges, household products, brooms, dustpan, dish towels).
If not, we'll be entitled to charge you a cleaning fee.

The space
Our building was built in the 19th century, during which time the city hosted Honoré de Balzac for 3 stays, who drew his inspiration from it for several of his novels. Elegant, it corresponds, for the city, to an intense period of urbanization. Built in cut stone, it has retained several features of the time including its entrance hall, a beautiful staircase, the distribution of rooms, etc. We have carried out a respectful restoration that makes up a cozy setting in a quiet environment.

During your stay, you will have access to a shared bathroom and toilet with another guest room and our son Gabriel who is often absent.
The floor can be privatized if you rent all the rooms and is therefore perfect for hosting a family or group of friends.
We have not yet completed the installation, but a herbal tea room will be there soon. Here you can find a microwave, kettle and fridge.
For pianists, a piano on the ground floor can be made available. The house likes to welcome musicians of all styles and art lovers.
The garden, according to our availability, since you have to go through our house to access it, perhaps, during the summer, made available for a relaxing moment or a bucolic meal.

The second floor, former attic (not suitable if you are very tall :)), has two bedrooms, a reading room and a private bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a pull-out bed (a single 80cm bed that converts into a double 160cm bed if required), while bedroom 2 has a double 140cm bed. The reading area has 2 single beds, which can be used by children. The duvets and pillows are made of duck duvet and the mattresses very recent. Bed linen and towels are of course provided.
The bathroom has a bath and toilet and a towel dryer.
This accommodation is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility (2 flights of stairs).
