Only a 7-minute drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Brava (Aigua Blava, Sa Riera, Fonda), you find a quiet enclave to recharge.
Whether you decide to explore the historical center of Begur (5-minute car ride), spend the day in the azure waters of Costa Brava, or take the trail straight from the suite leading to Tamariu (40-minute hike), we are happy to do all that is possible to help you fall in love with our town just like we did so many years ago.
The space
The suite includes a comfortable bed 1,40m x 2,00m, a dedicated workstation with a desk and high-speed internet, a private bathroom suite, and a large window looking out into the mountain. Outside there is a patio with two chairs to enjoy your morning coffee from the Nespresso machine in your own suite.
The suite is located detached from the main house. It is a standalone building that shares one wall with another guest unit.
The unit has its own entrance and it’s private patio that is sectioned off by planters for additional privacy.
The suite has all the necessary amenities for a relaxing, calm time. It does not however have a kitchen to cook. There’s a mini fridge suitable for drinks and over small items.

The Artists house is located in a quiet road, 10 mins walk from beautiful Sa Riera beach. Your view is of a green zone and part sea view.
The owners, Denise & Rupert live next door and you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
The house faces East so you can watch the sunrise over the sea from your bed...wonderful!
The space
This lovely 'casita' is light and airy inside with a large terrace that doubles the living space in the summer months. The terrace has a chill out seating area and dining space.
We believe that the house is very well equipped with plenty of tableware, glasses and kitchen equipment. We provide beach to as well as bathroom towels at no extra cost.
There is a wall mounted air conditioning unit in the main bedroom and a portable fan in the smaller room.
We are both artists with a passion for arts and crafts, so there are original pieces everywhere.
As well as being walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava, it is only a few minutes drive to the lovely, historical town of Begur. Wonderful restaurants and bars, great shopping and even a castle ruin can be enjoyed here.
Guest access
Guests have their own private entrance, a large lower terrace and a smaller bedrooms terrace for enjoying the view with a glass of Cava on a balmy evening.
Other things to note
Of special interest to people who need to work from home, we have very good WiFi in the casita, a few guests have commented that this was a big plus point for them. A couple who stayed with us in the Spring returned for a longer stay this summer for this very reason:
"We wanted to escape the city and work from a quiet place with a big outside area close to the beach BUT with a very good internet connection. In Denise & Rupert's lovely Casita we found just the perfect place, the internet was super fast so that two people could work at the same time without any problems. Very rarely the WiFi goes down, this is beyond our control as it's usually a local area problem. Please be patient with us as we do our utmost to get it restored. For this reason we don't charge extra for WiFi.
We have two dogs, both rescued from appalling conditions, we have put much time and effort into rehabilitating them. We decided to open up our house to guests with dogs as we know just how difficult it is to find a rental who will accept them. You are welcome to bring your dog (please advise us before booking) please ask us for our Pet Policy.
We highly recommend that you have a car here. You can walk to the beach and back, but, if you want to visit Begur town you would need to walk up a steep hill.....only for the very fit!
The Artists House is in a very quiet area where guests come to relax. Music and loud noise is discouraged after 11pm. If you like to party all night, it's not the place for you.
We are located within easy distance of 2 golf courses; Emporda and , only 10 mins away, Platja de Pals course. There is a PGA course close to Girona also.
