Sandaig b&b is located on the shores of Loch Nevis in southwestern Knoydart.We are probably one of the most remote b&b's Scotland's. There is NO CAR ACCESS from the Mainland or SKYE. It will take you about 1 hour 30 min. walk from Inverie Pier. The room is on a bed and breakfast basis, evening meals and transfers can be arranged for a extra charge.Please not:Knoydart is just accessible by passenger ferry (Western Isles Cruises) from Mallaig or walk from Kinloch Hourn / Strathan or Glenfinnan.

Our Philosophy
We want to do everything we can to help preserve Knoydart, often referred to as Scotland's last wilderness. We believe in running Sandaig B&B in an as environmentally friendly way as possible, using our own electricity and natural water supply. We are also really keen to minimize the use of motor vehicles. Why not experience nature to the maximum by walking the 1 hour and 30 minutes from the ferry in Inverie? Just keep your luggage light!
We also offer all essentials like wellies, slippers, umbrellas, dog supplies and much more. In addition, we also run a small shop where you are able to buy souvenirs, home made crafts, snacks, lunch packages and non alcoholic drinks.

Shore View is a newly built cabin in the quiet village of Caol 3 miles outside of Fort William.
The cabin is double glazed and heated by electric heaters welcoming whatever the Scottish weather brings.
Situated perfectly to enjoy the beautiful views of Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis.
Shore View is an ideal base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.
The space
A comfortable and clean cabin with a double bed with a separate toilet and shower room. Kitchen facilities include a sink, kettle, microwave and fridge. A smart TV is included with guest access to an account on Netflix, as well as free WiFi.
The cabin is perfect for a couple.

Guests can park their vehicles directly outside the gate.
The cabin is situated in our garden however the entrance to the cabin is via its own private patio area.
A key safe is outside the cabin for easier access for late arrivals.
There is a bus stop just a 5 minute walk from the cabin which can take you into the Fort William town centre.
Fort William has a bus and train station which offers transport links to other surrounding areas.
Taxi cards with contact details for a family run taxi service in the Fort William area will be left inside the cabin for your use.
We also have a shed where bikes can be stored if required.
Other things to note
The local shopping centre is a 5 minute walk from the cabin which includes laundrette facilities, a hairdressers, a couple of cafes, a post office and other various shops.
There is also Chinese, chip shop and the awkward eater takeaways just a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The awkward eater offers gluten free, various vegan and vegetarian meals.
“The Lochy Bar” is a 10 minute walk from the cabin which is a local favourite. There is a pub and a separate restaurant for families to go eat, which offer various pub meals.
The coop shop is a 5 minute walk from the cabin as well.

Glenwood is a family run bnb in the highlands just a stone throw from Camusdarroch beach. We have some stunning scenery and walks on our doorstep, Arisaig is 4 miles away as is Mallaig, please bear this in mind when booking with us, especially coming with public transport. Morar train station is closest to us at just over a mile away.
The space
We are just 10 min walk from the famous camusdarach beach! Mallaig is just over 4 miles away where you can get, arguably, the best fish and chips on the west coast! There is a trekking centre right next door which needs booking in advance.

My family room has 1 double bed, and 1 single bed and a pull out bed. It can be used as a double, as a twin, for 4 adults or for a family. There is no charge for infants (2 years and under) . It has a private bathroom, coffee/tea tray, tv and wi/fi. There are no self catering facilities or access to our kitchen. Breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room, usually between 8am and 9am but earlier can be arranged. Please note we are on the Mainland not on the Isle of Skye

Coorie Doon is the perfect base for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area. Relax to a fabulous view of Ben Nevis. Wifi & good transport links.
The fabric of the cabin is getting a little tired, despite ongoing maintenance. We are planning a full re-build to Passivhaus standards but in the meantime we have dropped our prices to reflect this. On the plus side, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and you will get a warm welcome!

The Gantocks is a handy 10 minute walk from the town centre in Fort William, close to restaurants, bars, hotels & the Highland Cinema. The Garden Room is located at the rear of the house and is very peaceful with its own private entrance & garden space.

The room comprises of a large double bed, sofa, dining table & chairs and modern wardrobe & cupboards. As well as this there is a TV, fridge & kettle. Outside the french doors, there is a private decked area with table & chairs for summer nights. The whole house is on one central heating system, generally it is set to 21 degrees, if you find that the room is too cold, we can provide a portable heater.
