Ardchattan is a stone cottage dating back to the 19th century situated on the Fort William road in the Highland region of Lochaber. The property overlooks a stoney beach, Loch Linnhe and the majestic Beinn Bheithir range of mountains.

To the south lie the villages of Ballachulish and famous Glencoe, home to Glencoe ski resort and mountains such as Aonach Eagach and Bidean nam Bian, all within 20 minutes' drive.

Stunning views across Loch Linnhe to the mountains beyond can be seen from a new private decking area to the rear of the cottage, which is set within a large garden.

Shepherd's Cottage sits in Glen Nevis, at the start of the Ben Nevis footpath. Fenced within its own garden this stone-built 17th century cottage has good views over Glen Nevis.
The cottage now also has wifi access.
It has a particularly traditional atmosphere including a wood burning stove ( complimentary basket of logs ).
There are two main rooms and a bathroom all with heating. The bedroom has a king-sized double bed, bedside cupboards, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, two chairs and a radio. The other main room is the sitting room / well equipped kitchen. There is a dining table and two chairs, a settee, coffee table, well stocked bookcase and a television. The bathroom contains a toilet, wash-hand basin and bathtub with shower and a heated towel rail.
Across the drive the old stone barn has been converted into a walkers' bar/restaurant ( Ben Nevis Inn).
There's plenty of walking right from the door of the cottage if you don't want to use your car.
Walk up Ben Nevis; Explore Glen Nevis - along the river; the Lower Falls at Pollduh; Upper Glen Nevis Gorge and Steall Falls; the iron age hill fort site, Dun Deardail, on the hill opposite the cottage - just a few suggestions. We live at the farm house down the hill if you want any information about the area.
One mile from Fort William, Shepherd's Cottage is centrally located for day trips to, for example, the Isle of Skye and the white sandy beaches of Morar.
Take the steam train to Mallaig or a cable car up a mountain.
There are several golf courses close by. Visit the West Highland museum in Fort William or take a boat trip in Loch Linnhe.

If you are lucky enough to visit when we are blessed with beautiful weather, you can soak up the sun, with your morning coffee, in a secluded garden area, surrounded by flowers and overlooked by the hills.

We operate a fair usage policy for electricity and include £60 worth of usage per week (or a proportion of that amount for shorter stays). A meter reading is taken before each stay and at the end (pictures taken of readings). Travel on the West Highland Steam Train as depicted in the ’Harry Potter’ film, crossing the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. Fort William, the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’, offers Highland culture, clan history, castles and museums. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and wildlife is in abundance. Inverness, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, Oban and Glencoe are all easily accessed. Skiing, horse riding, fishing, golf and a variety of water sports are all available nearby. IMPORTANT INFORMATION - The gaps between the railings on the external steps are 17cm wide, please take extra care especially if you have small children in the party. Please note there is a fenced canal, 30 yards outside the grounds. Care to be taken with young children. There are 3 steps from the decking area to the front of the lodges. No infants or babies.

Opposite the Island of Mull and 40 miles from Fort William we are situated 3 miles west of Lochaline, the cottage is brand new and purpose built for holiday lets. The property is located in our own garden but is completely self contained, accommodating up to 4 people.
The area of Morvern is a fantastic holiday destination. Whether just for a long weekend or for a full week there is plenty to see and do.
It is also a good starting point if you would like to explore more of the West Coast.

The cottage offers open plan living downstairs, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom is also downstairs.
The kitchen is fully appointed with dishwasher, induction cooker and larder fridge (with a small freezer compartment). There will also be a small stock of coffee, tea, sugar and milk for your arrival.....If you would like anything else delivered for your arrival then this can be arranged for you. Just let us know when booking.
The bedrooms consist of one full size king and 2 single beds. There are chest of drawers also in each room. We can supply a travel cot if required, please let us know when booking.
The bathroom has a full sized rolltop bath....perfect for a holiday soak and also a seperate shower cubicle.
The living room has full height windows offering a uninterupted view of Mull across the Sound.
The heating is fully electric and included. We do now offer wifi and there is 4G vodafone signal in and around the property withothers coming online all the time.....Just come and switch off for a few days, you'll be so glad you did.

The cottage is avaliable for a min of three night stays.
As the property is in our own grounds we can be available throughout your stay, but equally if you are happy then we will leave you to your peace and quiet. We are Co-owners and run Lochaline Stores in Lochaline and we would be happy to arrange for grocery deliveries.

Morvern offers many varied options for your stay....whether you are happy to potter locally bird or wildlife watching or if you would like to travel further afield like Inverness or Skye. Lochaline itself has a well appointed shop, The award winning Whitehouse Restaurant, Cafe LA at the hub, Lochaline social club where a pint can be enjoyed either in the bar or outside in the sunshine. The snack bar is also open for a burger during the day.
The Calmac ferry runs a frequent daily service to Mull where there are plenty of options for a day out.
The West Coast has an abundance of wildlife. With otters, sea eagles, pine martins, red and roe deer regularly seen from the cottage. We are happy to help with suggestions for spotting locations. The opportunities for walking are also endless.
There is so much to see and do...you should just come and enjoy it!!
The main road into Lochaline is a single track with passing places....Please use the passing places to allow following traffic to pass you as this is still the main community link!! This helps to avoid frustration and also enables you a leisurely drive....
There is a bus service to Fort William leaving on Tues and Thurs and can be requested from the cottage, They just require one days notice. The ferry offers good links via Mull and Oban also.

Beach House 3 is a stunning luxury four bedroom Villa situated right beside the sea with its own private hot tub. It is a detached architect designed villa with four bed bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen area and a dining area. Three of the four bedrooms are en suite and there is also a separate bathroom and a separate toilet. This villa has its own private terrace area with outside tables and chairs. The Villa's own private hot tub is located on the terrace and has wonderful sea views. The bedrooms are made up as two king sized doubles and two twin bedrooms. One of the twin bedrooms has an extra foldaway bed. There is an eco friendly air source heat pump system which provides luxurious heating and hot water. There is underfloor heating on the ground floor. The kitchen area has an American style fridge freezer with its own drinks chiller and ice maker. The upstairs front bedroom is not only ensuite but has it's own upstairs balcony with outside seating area with spectacular sea views.

Welcome to Gualachulain Bothy (pronounced Goolahoolin!), a Gaelic name which means "Holly on The Bank". Situated at the end of stunning Glen Etive, it overlooks Loch Etive and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Sleeping 6 in bunk beds, it has recently been renovated to accomodate groups of hikers. mountian bikers, etc. Availble for a 2 nights minimum stay, but for as long as you wish, it's the ideal base for exploring all that Glen Etive, the River Etive and Loch Etive have to offer.

The space
Situated at the head of Loch Etive, next to our holiday house Hollybank, The Bothy is an 18th century building, found at the end of the road that leads down the glen. From the A82 it is a 13 mile drive along a single track road, passing through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Scotland. It is secluded, suiting those in search of peace, quiet and solitude. Being 20 miles from the nearest amenities in Glencoe and Ballachulish it is important to be well stocked before you arrive!

The Bothy is designed with outdoor pursuits in mind so there is a lovely log burner, a drying room, a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely hot shower, provided by a gas boiler to heat the water and the house - and all with stunning views south down Loch Etive.

Guests who book Gualachulain Bothy have exclusive use of the whole property.

Other things to note
Please note that bedding and towels are not provided. Please therefore bring sleeping bags. Towels can be rented for a small charge - please ask about this when booking.

For all guests, but winter guests especially, it is important to note that The Bothy is in a remote part of the highlands. Ensure you have plenty of petrol (petrol stations are in Tyndrum, coming from the south and Glencoe Village, coming from the north) and plenty of provisions (the nearest supermarket is in Ballachulish, 20 miles away).

In the winter, a car with 4-wheel drive and winter tyres is a definite advantage!

In the summer Glen Etive is a popular visitor destination so be prepared to share the glen with others.

We would like to welcome you to Craigrowan Croft where we have a charming 2 bedroom self-catering cottage called An Sean Tigh (The Old House).
It has one double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a lovely kitchen / dining / living area. It benefits from under floor heating throughout and a cosy multifuel stove to cuddle up in front of.
It is only a 5 minute walk to the local shops and a 10 minute walk to 3 lovely restaurants and a cosy pub.

The space
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, an electric oven and ceramic hob, a dishwasher and all the usual cookware. In the small extension out the back there is a washer / drier washing machine, an iron and ironing board. Out the back there is a small raised back garden with a rotary washing line, small charcoal barbeque and a table and chairs. The cottage has fibre broadband.

If you have young children we have a range of accessories available to save you valuable packing space in the car! These include a buggy, a travel cot and booster seats for toddlers to sit on at the dinner table.

There is ample free parking around the cottage.

Our family love animals, nature and the great outdoors. We took ownership of the croft in 2018 with a view to change our lifestyle; to allow our family to experience nature at its best in the beautiful area of Strontian.

We have been working hard since then to return it to a working croft and we started our livestock journey with three very friendly lambs, which we have had the pleasure of bottle-feeding which was very entertaining! Our love for animals grew from there and now we have 25 sheep over 30 hens, 12 ducks, 4 ponies and free range pigs who work the land producing a very tasty meat which we sell from the Croft.

Its not just livestock that we have been busy with, we have also been working on our kitchen garden, which we has been very fruitful over the years.

The croft is made up of fifteen acres, five of which was recently planted with a mixture of native trees. The rest is made up mostly of rough grazing, some mature trees, a huge variety of wild flowers, mosses and lichens and there are also regular visits from a range of wildlife including red deer and birds of prey.

There are spectacular views over the surrounding hills, valley and loch after an invigorating climb up the croft! From the croft you can access a lovely local woodland walk (Phemies Walk), which has a spectacular view out over Loch Sunart.

Other things to note
We are pet friendly and can accommodate 2 small, well behaved dogs. We kindly ask that the pets are kept off the couch, chairs and beds please. We also ask that pets are not left alone in the cottage.

There is a train track that passes behind the cottage. The first train is at 8AM and the last train is at 10PM. It is not a frequently used line and the size is usually only a couple of carts long.

We have two friendly dogs that will be in a separate secure fenced area.

A recently renovated self catering family cottage in Kilchoan in the Ardnamurchan peninsula close to the Isle of Mull.
First floor: Three bedrooms -
Master with kingsize bed;
Bedroom 2 with double bed & bunk-beds;
Bedroom 3 with single bed.
Downstairs there is a spacious lounge with plenty of seating for a family. The lounge has an open fire and with three large windows is both light and airy. The dining room has seating for 6 but will accommodate 8 at its large table. The kitchen is fitted with an new Beling Range cooker, with a 5 ring hob. There is also an microwave and a George Foreman grill - thus catering for all cooking styles. The fully tiled family bathroom (recently fully modernised) is on the ground floor & comprises bath with shower & shower screen, wash hand basin, low-level WC, and underfloor heating. There is also a large utility room with stainless steel sink unit, washing machine, and large airing cupboard.
The garden is walled and fenced so is secure for children of all ages, and also has the benefit of both on and off road car parking spaces. Morvern Cottage is just 10minutes walk from Mingary Pier where the ferry crosses to Tobermory.
There are lots of places to discover in Ardnamurchan, and Sanna Bay (just 5 miles from Kilchoan) has to seen to be believed!. The village pub is just 100yards from Morvern Cottage & the shop (the Ferry Stores) is just 1 mile away. The Ferry Stores is a general store (and petrol station) and can provide everything you might need for your holiday - bar the kitchen sink!!
There are rib trips from Kilchoan to Staffa & Lunga, a slipway for dinghies, medical services, trout fishing, boat hire, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Visitor Centre, and Glenborrodale Castle are within 10 miles of the house. There are also whale and dolphin watching cruises available. Resipole Art Gallery, Ardtornish Gardens and Railway, Castle Tioram and Tobermory Distillery are all within easy reach. Cafe Fish restaurant is 4 miles away, by ferry, in Tobermory. (Cafe Fish won the Good Food UK Fish Restaurant of the Year 2012 - a fantastic place to eat - and amazing value!). Places nearby include:-Sanna Bay 5 mls, Tobermory 4 mls by ferry, Salen 19 mls, Acharacle 22 mls, Fort William 53 mls, Mallaig 58 mls, Oban, 80 mls, Inverness 118 mls, Glasgow 144 mls, Edinburgh 170 mls.

Electricity is included for the first 3 people, each extra person is charged £10 to cover additional servicing costs.

High chair and cot are available (please advise at time of booking if required).

No bed linen or towels are provided. However there are pillows, duvets and bed covers in the house.

Other things to note
This rental is provided to feel like a home but also on the bases you leave the cottage as you find it. If extra cleaning is needed after your stay, some or all of the security deposit will be kept to cover our costs.

Recently refurbished to high spec. terraced cottage. Loch Nevis Terrace overlooks Mallaig Harbour, Isle of Skye and Small Isles. Excellent location for a family holiday- beaches, ferry trips, fishing, walking and excellent places to eat. Wonderful land and seascapes- a truly special part of the world. The Annex at the Sandaig Chapel is located on the shores of Loch Nevis in southwest Knoydart. Enjoy the beautiful beach or explore the coast and hills on remote Knoydart. Breakfast and dinner on request for extra charge. There is good wifi in the Annex, and 4 G mobile connection.Please note we are located on Knoydart NO CAR ACCESS, passenger ferry from Mallaig to Inverie. "westernislescruises"

We want to do everything we can to help preserve Knoydart, often referred to as Scotland's last wilderness. We believe in running Sandaig B&B in an as environmentally friendly way as possible, using our own electricity and natural water supply. We are also really keen to minimize the use of motor vehicles.

More than just accommodation

Achaderry Estate has lots to do for the whole family when you visit. The 400 acre grounds has some of the most spectacular views in Scotland. The estate can offer quad bike experiences for all the family.

There are easy tracks on flat ground or forest tracks for the more adventurous. The experiences are always accompanied by our staff who will give all necessary training to the participant. 

There is also clay pigeon shooting on the estate again with full training and at all times accompanied by our staff. For those that would like to try their hand at a rifle shooting experience we can accommodate those looking for target shooting. 

If you are looking for a fishing experience we are happy to hire you the necessary equipment. The rainbow trout Lockean is well-stocked and ready for people to engage in fly fishing. With so much to do and so many walks for you and your pets Achaderry Estate really is more than just accommodation.

Bramble Cottage is a modern, bright and spacious, exceptionally well appointed 3 bedroom property in the village of Strontian. Exceptionally popular with repeat visitors, recently extended to a very high standard featuring second very spacious upstairs lounge, including balcony with views to Loch Sunart. The property also features a luxury master en-suite with king sized bed and roll top bath. Warning - once you arrive you may not want to leave! Great local walks, scenery, pets welcome.

Ocean View is a recently-modernised cottage in a stunning, rugged part of Scotland - just off the dunes of the beautiful Sanna beach.
With the chance to spot great wildlife like eagles, dolphins, whales, basking shark, otters. There are also some fantastic walks, rock climbing, surfing, swimming on your doorstep!
*Please note: There is a meter charge for electricity at 35p per kwh this is due to the huge increase in charges by the power supply companies.

The space
Ocean View is a beautiful, idyllic cottage, perfect for couples, friends or the whole family to enjoy the beautiful white sandy (and unspoilt) beaches, just a stone's throw away. Sanna is a special, rugged, remote place, and this is a rare opportunity to stay amongst the small collection of cottages in Sanna Bay.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 x double beds and a bunk bed (2 single beds, maximum 80kgs on top). All your bedding is supplied.

A modern Smart TV is situated in the living room (free-to-view channels , or simply use your smart phone to play through the tv), as well as a DVD player (with DVD's) provided.

Also available are: a microwave, electric cooker, washing machine, indoor and outdoor drying facilities, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso Virtuo coffee machine (we do supply a small selection of coffees, so feel free to bring your own).

There are also modern electric, individually/wifi controlled radiators in every room, along with a woodburner in the living room (with fireguard) as well as a private bathroom with shower (no bath).

To the rear of Ocean View, there is a small patio from which to enjoy the view to the beach and an enclosed (dog friendly) garden. There is also, a small gated pond in the corner of the mature garden, the gate is bolted to for safety.

It's just a 2 minute walk to the long white (usually empty) sandy beaches and beautiful coves and rocks - if you fancy a paddle!!!

Ocean View has a private parking space alongside the property. Please avoid driving on the grass. The area is for local grazing and is classed as a Machair.

Other things to note
The Ardnamurchan peninsula is one of the last remaining remote areas in the UK. You'll realise that when driving along the single track road with Loch Sunart on one side and rugged hills on the other, whilst surrounded by an abundance of wildlife!

One of the three properties at Riverbank Holiday Cottages, the accommodation enjoys the peaceful setting by the banks of the river Coe at the fringes of Glencoe village.
The open plan dining area and lounge connect to the well-equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast bar. For those who enjoy alfresco dining, patio doors from the lounge lead to a small outdoor area to the rear of the property, where informal gardens lead down to the river.
