A spacious timber cabin built 8 years ago. In a very quiet location amid the fields and woods of our farm, situated in the garden of my home and off a private road leading only to the farm.
Cooking facilities are microwave, mini-cooker with two rings and oven, slow cooker, frig and sink.
Beds are made up as king size unless singles are requested in advance.
Pets are welcome. The Cabin has its own garden securely fenced.
Garden furniture with sun loungers, table and chairs and charcoal BBQ.

The space
The situation is good for those travelling on either of the two north-south main roads - A7 and A68, as the house is between these two main roads, and 5 - 10 minutes from each.The location of the Cabin is perfect for guests with pets, miles of dog walking country from the door. We have a private loch just 200m from here which is an SSSI. Golf course 2 miles away. A car is essential here as there is only a limited bus service 2 miles away, and train service from Tweedbank to Edinburgh 10 minutes away.

Guest access
The Cedar Cabin has space for two or more cars to park on the gravelled driveway. Nearest shops and restaurants etc. are 5 - 10 minutes away in Selkirk, and there are several take-aways available.

Breakfast foods are supplied for at least the first day or two of your stay.
TV with Freeview. DVD player.
Towels are provided and all cleaning equipment.

Peace and tranquility is yours whilst staying at our 100 acre estate of woodland and rolling hills. Throw the kids onto the gigantic front lawn, and sit quietly with a glass of wine knowing that they are safe to let rip!. Whether you’re looking to explore our hills on foot or bike (we have secure bike storage), this is also your chance to recharge - picnic on that lawn anyone?? Completely private but only 6 miles from a main town should you need supplies, and Edinburgh is only an hour away.

The space
Woll House Mansion was built in 1874 and The Garden Flat is part of the main house with private access. The flat has very high ceilings, the original sash windows with shutters and the original servant bells (sadly, servants not included!). The main bedroom overlooking the lawn has huge windows so the room is flooded with sunshine as well as affording excellent opportunities to spot the deer which frequently play on the lawn. The second bedroom can be made up as two twins or one super king as required. Each room has dedicated thermostatic radiators and there is also an open fire in the living/dining room. Guests are free to use the lawn for bbq's (all equipment provided) or just to lounge in the hammock and relax. This is your chance to let the kids play without every having to shout, keep the noise down or be careful with that football! There's a huge lawn and private woods/fields for them to safely explore. We offer a discount for weekly bookings.

Free secure storage and wash area for your bikes and optional stabling and turnout for horses is available for a fee.

The Garden Flat is ideally suited for exploring the local area, including Edinburgh. It is also an easy drive over the Border should you wish to explore Hadrian's Wall or the Lakes.

Private off road parking is available directly in front of the property's door.

Other things to note
A complimentary basket of logs is provided. Please just ask if you need more. Rubbish bins are located at the entrance of the green gates and recycling bags are under the sink. Please leave any recycling in these bags and we will take them to the tip for you.
