- "First time staying here and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious and airy , bed very comfortable. Welcome pack was good. Shower was great and bathroom was immaculate. My only suggestion was to add a handrail inside the shower and maybe a small corner shelf for shampoo, conditioner , shower gel it’s much better for someone disabled. Breakfast is a 10/10 cooked well and tasted amazing full cooked breakfast. It’s actually situated perfectly to travel and see other places from. Parking was free and good. It’s very handy for the train station and the retail park for shopping. We are definitely going back again and we can bring our dog which is an extra bonus for us. I provide a special accommodation in a secluded area of a private property, a sheltered seating areas and a hot tub. You have to book the hot tub separately for an extra £ 40. It is a 2000 litre whisky barrel, heated by a wood burning stove. Please let me know in advance and I will have it ready for you. You are welcome to share my cottage including the use of the kitchen and bathroom.
If you are a slightly bigger group, please don't hesitate to ask and I do my best to make it possible.

The space
If your dream is to spent some time in a Tipi, you have found a very quiet and peaceful place. . My place is a mile away from the main road and is located on a dead end. Almost no noise or light pollution. I only have one neighbour, a very friendly couple with a lovely dog. I`m living 5 miles from the Findhorn Foundation and 6 miles from the towns of Forres and Elgin. A bus leaves from the top of the road.
If you want to be completely looked after I'm also a tour guide.
If you like to be in total control of how you want to spend your day and change it to your needs and wants you can relax and enjoy my service (-:
I`m also living in the best climate zone of Scotland and a very ancient place, packed with history. Morayshire is also home for the biggest whisky trail and many famous whiskies, not to mention some of the best golf courses. I`m close to mountains, rivers, the sea, caves, castles.... So the area is perfect for many outdoor activities, wildlife ( the most northern Dolphins....) and beautiful countryside and the home of the first People in Scotland- the Pict's. The list is long and in the end you have to make up your own mind and check it out.
I`m looking forward to looking after you and if you are cool I would love to introduce you to many great friends in the country including the only hobbit in the Highlands and the longest Loch Ness Monster Hunter.

The space
The guest accommodation consists of one double bedroom with double bed, ensuite shower and toilet, and a large lounge for the sole use of guests with tea and coffee making facilities. Access to relaxing woodland garden.

Continental breakfast is served in the kitchen but you also have access to the large sitting room for your own refreshments. The garden has mainly lawn, trees and shrubs which you welcome to walk and sit in.

I am available much of the time and are more than happy to discuss plans of where to go and what to see. I have a good range of maps and guide books for you to look at.

We offer a substantial and healthy continental breakfast including cereal, croissants, toast, bacon roll, fruit and yogurt as well as orange juice, teas and coffee.

A picnic lunch of soup and a filled roll can be provided at £7 per person ( if staying one night only, please bring a flask).

A two course supper is also available at £20 per person and red or white wine can be provided for a donation. There is a good choice of local places to eat, including The Archiestown Hotel 5 minutes drive from here.

Maple and Max, the labradors, and two Highland ponies in nearby fields are always ready to meet new people!

Our Fiddich room is located on the ground floor overlooking the gardens and the garden swing.

This room is a double (with a superking bed) or can be set as a twin (with two x single beds). Please advise when booking if you would prefer twin beds.

The room has an en-suite with shower over bath. Breakfast is included with all our rooms and we have optional extras like packed lunches to take with you during the day or a charcuterie board for you to enjoy in the evening in front of the fire.

Located in the picturesque village of Craigellachie, in the heart of Speyside, Craigellachie Lodge is a Victorian mansion, built in 1860. Tall ceilings with ample spaced bedrooms and a spacious and light bathroom. The kitchen/dinning and sitting area splits the two bedrooms and has an exit door on each side. One leading in from the entrance side and the opposite glass doors leading into the wonderfully secluded walled garden complete with decked logia alfresco eating area.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, ceramic hob, fridge with a freezer compartment for ice and a small dish washer, There is a kitchen table that seats four. With an extra chair in case, in the utility room. There is a double sofa in the sitting room area and a small coffee table.
The king sized bed in the main bedroom has a tempur memory foam mattress whilst the small double bed sized twins in bedroom number 2, have pocket sprung mattresses from the original bed company and a ‘panda’ memory foam topper. Both have feather duvets and pillows and quilted cotton bed covers with a quilted footer at the end of each bed. Both rooms have hanging space and a chest of drawers, radiators and smart tvs The twin room also has underfloor heating.
