We ate at nearly all of them and never had a bad meal. My ONLY complaint is in regard to the bed and the sofa. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. The sofa seems to be broken down, probably from people sleeping on it rather than the bed. I slept on the sofa but did not sleep well as it was uncomfortable, but still more comfortable than the bed. I would have given this place a higher rating if not for the bed and sofa. A restful sleep is very important to me."

He double booked and asked to switch me to one of his other properties which I agreed to. Once I arrived it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests. Towels on the floor, dirty linens, food spoiling, trash about. I contacted him and he didn’t respond, I had to spend an entire night of my trip shopping for fresh linens and laundering the towels, cleaning the apartment. Finding that stuff isn’t easy at night in this town, we had to drive far for an open store. The next day the housekeeper arrived and mentioned the host contacted her at 9 pm the night before. So he saw my messages and instead of responding he just told the housekeeper to come by the next day. While going through the process of requesting a refund the host told me several lies, that Expedia never contacted him, that he would PayPal me, and finally that he would process the refund if I gave a positive review. Expedia processed a full refund for me today, I would avoid this host and all of his properties, unless you’d like to spend way too much of your trip either cleaning and buying linens or on an Expedia support chat. "

Oven was filthy inside so we didn't use it, coffee machine hadn't been cleaned and neither had toaster or kettle - makes you wonder about 'Covid measures'! "

In spite of these few issues, the unit has it's positives and we would recommend it as the cost is reasonable. The host was responsive with check in instructions and graciously accommodated a request for a later check out."

We are peacefully situated only a few minute’s walk from Archiestown and on the Malt Whisky Trail. Aberlour and the famous Speyside Way are a short walk down through the stunning countryside and forest.
Set in an idyllic, peaceful location with amazing views out over Ben Rinnes and the Convals at the front and thriving woodland to the rear where you can regularly spot deer, red squirrels and grouse!
The Bothy has a large lounge/kitchen downstairs and upstairs has a spacious bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Outside there is a large private patio with seating area which is perfect for watching the sunset whilst enjoying a wee local dram!
Dogs are welcome at the Bothy and it’s the perfect location for your four-legged friends with the Speyside Footpath Network right on the doorstep! Miles and miles of woodland for them (and you!) to explore.
Plenty of local amenities are available in Aberlour village (5 minute drive, 40 minute walk) such as a Co-op, pubs, takeaways, Walkers Shortbread shop, Spey Larder deli, Mackie butchers……but most importantly the Aberlour distillery!

About the Area
Lossiemouth, as the name suggests, is situated at the mouth of the River Lossie on the shores of the beautiful Moray Firth. It boasts two long white sandy beaches (one at either end of the town), two eighteen hole golf courses (one being a championship course), two yachting marinas and a fisheries museum. Close by is the RAF airbase (good for plane spotters) and Gordonstoun School.
As well as being a very good location for a seaside, golfing or fishing holiday, Lossiemouth is also an ideal base for touring.
Elgin with its cathedral, numerous places of interest, shops and outstanding leisure centre is only five miles away. To the west and approx. one hours drive are Inverness and Loch Ness. To the east and approx. one and a half hours driving time is the “granite” city of Aberdeen with numerous picturesque fishing villages along the coast. A short drive south takes you along the River Spey and through distillery land towards Aviemore and The Cairngorms.
The fact that the Moray coast is reputed to have one of the mildest and driest climates in the country makes Beachview Holiday Flat a very attractive option for a holiday and many of our clients come back time and again.

Our recently renovated garden flat is a cozy, eco-minded holiday home one minute walk to Lossiemouth's beautiful East Beach, local restaurants and ice cream shops. Our 1 bedroom cottage is a ground floor property with a fully fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and private garden. It is perfect for couples or those looking for a quiet retreat. There is plenty to do in our beautiful seaside town or the option to relax and enjoy our private garden.
The space
We hope you will find our place as a home away from home. Recently renovated including a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The solid stone building first built around 1750 as a family home was renovated and split into two flats in the 1980s. Holly tree cottage is the ground floor providing easy access to our private garden.

No8 is part of the former net mending loft and is close to local amenities, golf courses and within walking distance of the beautiful beaches of Lossiemouth. Newly refurbished throughout 2 bedroom flat. Just one mile approximately from the town centre Elgin and just 0.5 miles from Elgin's beautiful historic Cathedral and the world famous Johnston's of Elgin for a spot of luxury shopping! A modern flat to the rear of the property in of one of Elgin's finest houses "Lesmurdie House" converted in 2003. Ideal location for Moray Whisky Trail and all other local attractions.

There is a large collection of DVDs both for adults and children in the coffee table in the lounge. The DVD player also plays blue ray should you wish to take some of those yourself. Also there is a selection of board games through in the wardrobe in the bedroom again both for adults and children. I have also left a wide selection of takeaway menus in the kitchen drawer for you if you do fancy a takeaway and film night. I also have a selection of baby/toddler toys for the younger guests just let me know if you need these as these are in the locked cleaning cupboard in the hall.
