Just 2 hours from Sydney, close to the Hunter Valley's finest wineries, restaurants and vineyards, Lochinvar House (1841) offers grand accommodation in an historic Georgian-Victorian house with beautiful landscape in 88 acres.

We took 8-14 guests group booking.
Our Main House has 5 bedrooms, sleep up to 14 . Cooked breakfast included.

Most of the days we accept 1 night booking. However, on some special days and public holidays, 2 nights booking is required. Please contact us to confirm.

The space
Guests booking the entire Main House enjoy all facilities except use of stove in the kitchen (accessed by staff). Guests have access to coffee and tea, a bar fridge, microwave and use of the BBQ facilities for sheltered cooking just outside the main house and outdoor meals if desired.

We accept 8-14 guests for group booking for the Main House.

The Main House has 5 bedrooms, consisting of 3 generous queen-bed rooms, 1 large "Four-poster" queen-bed room with a double sofa bed and 1 large "Family Room" with 2 king-single beds and 1 queen bed. In the Main House are 2 share bathrooms, including one in marble with its original bath (the biggest you've ever seen). Total can sleep up to 14 peoples.

The 4-poster room and Family room open onto the front verandah, overlooking Loch Katrine. From here, you can see the morning sunrise and the reflection of the moon on the Loch.
The Main House also has a very large lounge room with fireplace, nice dining room with fireplace and a newly renovated billiard room.

For some concerts dates or public holidays, a 2 nights minimum policy applied. Otherwise, 1 night booking is accepted. Please contact us to check.

Guest access
Guests can use swimming pool,Snooker room,Dining room,lounge room. Guests are welcome to use our BBQ facilities, which is just outside the Main House but are not allowed to cook in the kitchen ( other than using the micro-wave).

Other things to note
Our facilities is for the use of paying guests. Surcharge applied to non-staying visitors.
Lochinvar House is situated within Kaludah Estate, a cattle grazing property with dams and frontage to Loch Katrine (a very broad section of Kaludah Creek) and the Hunter River. While this means country air and glorious views, please remember you are on a working farm with animals large and small, including wildlife. We have taken all possible steps to ensure your safety, but please remember to stay within the general area of the accommodation, garden, lawn, pool and driveway, which offers an easy 1km return walk to our main (white) gate if you feel inclined. Our managers can provide helpful advice according to the time of year you are visiting.
