Situated above the trees and snuggled in the bushland, it has unrestricted stunning views across the mountains. On a clear night, you'll see the lights of Sydney in the distance.

A 5 minutes stroll to Wentworth Falls village, station, the Lake, and close to bushwalks.

Off-street parking is available BUT if you have a 4WD it may not fit under the awning so you'll need to park on a quiet adjacent street.

The space
Small yet with everything you need, the cabin is set away from the main house. You will have complete privacy - even your own separate street entrance! Chances are you will never see anyone around you (even us).

It’s decorated in simple white and muted tones, Scandinavian style. Small but well-stocked kitchen has fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and indoor grill.

WE ARE DOG FRIENDLY! Just a note - be aware we can’t efficiently fence it off.

Guest access
If you need to do laundry, you can use our exterior laundry outside the main house (down the stairs).

Other things to note
Warm in winter, cool in summer. The cabin has efficient heaters. The bed also has an electric blanket.

In summer, there are fans and fly screens, should you want to open the window for natural breeze.

The area is surrounded by a myriad of scenic trails, spectacular waterfalls and stunning lookouts. Enjoy the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape right on our doorstep. There's one million hectares of wilderness, offering an abundance of places to explore and natural wonders to discover.

The space
The Shed's 36sqm studio space features a comfortable king bed with quality linens, lounge suite, dining table and basic kitchen set-up with kettle, toaster, espresso machine, microwave and bar fridge. Coffee pods, a variety of tea and milk are provided. There is no stove or cook-top available.
The ensuite bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. Towels, shampoo, conditioner & bath gel are provided.

WiFi is included.

Outdoor seating takes advantage of the sandstone terrace and rock garden, which is the ideal spot to catch the morning or afternoon rays; perhaps even meet some of the local birdlife that drop in to say hello. Or simply lounge about inside and enjoy your television-free mountain escape.

The Shed is tucked at the rear of our property behind our home, and whilst you do access your space via our driveway, we provide utmost privacy during your stay. However, should you require any assistance, we're seldom too far away to help with anything.

Please note, this is an adults-only and pet-free space.

Parking is available for your vehicle on the driveway.
Wentworth Falls village is a few minutes drive away, or a 20-minute walk. Here you can stock up on supplies at The Falls convenience store, The Lemon Tree Grocer, grab your drinks at D'Vine Cellars and bread, cakes and pastries at Bakery Patisserie Schwartz.
Leura village centre is a 6-minute drive away and Katoomba is just 10 minutes.

Other things to note
Smoking of any substances isn't welcome in our space and, due to being in a residential area, noise is to be kept to a minimum after 9pm.

There is off-street parking at Bowerlands and just a short stroll to your own private garden where the cabin is situated. If you're looking for a very private and peaceful weekend Bowerland's Cabin is the place for you.

The space
' Historic Bowerlands' is the original gatekeeper's cottage from the Lillianfels estate - the home of one of the Federation founding fathers - Sir Frederick Darley. It's located within our Rhododendron-hedged two-acre garden of European trees and camellias and spruce. We love our guests to wander and enjoy it in all its seasonal glory. A great place to picnic or read a book. It provides the perfect retreat for creativity. The swimming pool is located in the main garden and is open only in summer. Guests are welcome to enjoy it.

Guest access
The private cabin garden overlooking the National Park is hedged and overlooked by no one. It has a lawn with seating to watch the abundant birdlife of Lorikeets, King Parrots, Kookaburra, Black Cockatoo, Lyrebirds and if you are lucky, a black-faced swamp wallaby. Or just enjoy the stars and the evening's silence from your verandah. Bordering the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park it has direct access to the famous Grand Canyon Walk and the Point Pilcher Lookout over the Grose Valley.

Other things to note
There is a BBQ on the outside covered deck which can be used for a cooked breakfast or a BBQ'd meal. Olive and vegetable oils are provided with seasonings. There is a microwave in the kitchen area for heating and cooking with numerous containers for pasta, vegetables, etc.

This room currently has a small and slightly unsightly part of the ceiling that has been repaired and is awaiting further repairs. This is not above the bed and does not impact the view to the lake. This also does not impact your comfort. It’s just not pretty.

This is a private room attached to a home with self check in. There is no guest interaction with host but there is a shared entryway between house residents and guests but paths crossing is rare, however you may occasionally hear them entering and leaving the house.

You can access the lake by walking around the house and towards the back gate...the lake is literally there!

Please park to the far left hand side of the car parking area. Ensure that you are not blocking any other vehicles.

Come through the main wood and glass front door (it will be unlocked) and access the key lockbox to open the internal front door. Key code provided on the day of your stay.

Your room is straight ahead at the end of the hallway.

Other things to note
Accessing the lake:
Guests can walk around the house to access the lake via the yard (or drive around to the main part of the lake). The local council is currently upgrading the path around the lake) so you cannot currently walk all the way but you can walk down to the lake from the house in 30 seconds.

The main hallway and entrance to your room is shared with the residents of the house. However the house and room are separate to ensure your privacy and comfort. Interaction is rare and you will sometimes hear the residents entering and leaving.

There may be other guests staying who have their own separate and private entrance and interaction would be rare.

We ask all guests to be respectful in regards to noise.

There are no cooking facilities available in the room.

There is no microwave for reheating of food.

This is a hotel style room with ensuite that has a double shower and incredible view!

The space
Sensual and calming with a hint of playfulness, the studio on Dharug/Gundungurra country is designed for couples or solo travellers to inspire contemplation and connection.

Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, chill out with a board game or snuggle together by the log fire. This is a space to unwind after your days exploring the pristine National Park.

You will have your own private outdoor space surrounded by the bush reserve, rich in wildlife.

There is a separate study/work/artspace and cosy reading nook perfect for quiet contemplation.

The kitchen is complete with stovetop, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and smaller appliances. So you can choose to stay in to cook your own meals, or venture out to sample what the mountains has to offer. Tea, coffee and light breakfast options are provided as well some little extras.

Guest access
We live with our two young children in the main house on the property. The studio is self-contained with a screen separating it from the main house. The kids may be audible from time to time.

Our friendly black cat, Luna, may pop over for a visit, or to sun herself in the garden. She is currently outside during the day (wearing a catbib) while her cat cage is being built.

You will have a private entrance and parking space. There are twenty steps from the studio's parking space, up through the private bush track to the entrance.

Other things to note
The studio is cosy when the log fire is roaring but the concrete floors can be a little chilly. We have just installed reverse cycle air conditioning so the studio can be temperature controlled all year round. Woot!

We also have floor rugs, a portable heating, hot water bottles and lots of warm blankets to keep you toasty and warm throughout the cooler months.

There is strictly no smoking or vaping inside the studio or on the property.

Darwin's studio is a space for you to recharge, reconnect and create a little romance.

Gindi Studio is 200 meters from the Wentworth Falls NP. Walking distance to the new Grand Cliff Top Walk which starts at Wentworth Falls; walk to the Falls; and the Conservation Hutt. This studio is cosy and comfortable with all of the modern touches to make your stay special. Only a 5 minute drive to the quaint village of Leura and 10 minutes to Katoomba. Come and enjoy this special part of the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately the studio is not suitable for infants or children.

The space
Gindi studio features a comfortable queen size bed with quality linen, and plush towelling.

The studio has a kitchenette with a sink, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave, crockery and cutlery are provided. There is no oven or stove.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with a variety of Twinnings teas. You can let me know what type of milk (dairy, oat, soy, etc) you prefer prior to arrival.

Wifi is available at the property for your use. There is a large flat screen TV with Netflix if you wish to settle down watching a movie during your stay.

The ensuite bathroom has a fabulous rain shower, vanity and toilet.

On those cool mountains days and evenings you will be toasty and warm with the flued rinnai heating system throughout the space.

The Studio is located at the rear of our property behind our home above a garage (which is not in use), so you will have the utmost privacy during your stay.

You will be able to park your vehicle up the drive or there is plenty of parking on the street too.

You will have access to the back yard and fire Pitt where you can enjoy a glass of wine and toast some marshmallows. Fire wood will be provided for you if you wish to use the fire Pitt.

There are 15 stairs up to the studio.
Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
We have two dogs that live in our home, however, they will not have access to the studio or the outside area around the fire Pitt.
