• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms containing of 2 queen beds (with Koala mattresses) and 2 king singles, all equipped with electric blankets for those cool mountain nights. Hot water bottles are also available for added coziness. There is a travel cot with linen and 2 highchairs. Both stored in twin bedroom.
• Kitchen & Laundry: A fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooktop, electric oven, new Breville Barista Express Coffee machine, Brita filtered water jug in fridge, rice cooker, sandwich press, milkshake machine, slow cooker and everything you would find in a cooks kitchen. Laundry facilities are also available for your convenience.
• Living & Dining: A comfortable living area leading to a dining room and one queen bedroom, located just two steps down from the main space.

If you are travelling by car you will reach the edge of it after about 60 minutes of travel along the Great Western Highway. Katoomba is the main regional centre of the area with many shops restaurants and adventure companies offering tours of all kinds. There is an excellent hop on hop off bus service adjacent to the Katoomba railway station that will take you around approximately 24 local attractions ranging from parks and gardens to historic homes and museums. Katoomba and Leura are joined together. The centre of each town is only about 4 km apart. There is a major tourist office located at Echo Point, Katoomba where you may also view the famous Three Sisters after you have collected all the information on the local sights. The Blue Mountains is a huge area with a massive National Park featuring many walking tracks. If you are travelling by car you will reach the edge of it after about 60 minutes of travel along the Great Western Highway. Katoomba is the main regional centre of the area with many shops restaurants and adventure companies offering tours of all kinds. There is an excellent hop on hop off bus service adjacent to the Katoomba railway station that will take you around approximately 24 local attractions ranging from parks and gardens to historic homes and museums. Katoomba and Leura are joined together. The centre of each town is only about 4 km apart. There is a major tourist office located at Echo Point, Katoomba where you may also view the famous Three Sisters after you have collected all the information on the local sights. Nearby is the famous cable car and the steepest railway in the world at Scenic World. See the “local attractions” at the top of this page for more information.
All properties offered by Blue Mountains Getaways are warm and cozy with plenty of heating. Even in the summertime you will find this area much cooler than Sydney. We suggest you bring warm clothes if you intend to explore the area on foot just in case.

Detached building (45m2) from the main house entirely for the guests use. Cottage has fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and crockery. Guests will be provided with a welcome breakfast pack. Spacious open plan living/dining, kitchen and bathroom are located downstairs and loft style bedroom is located upstairs. Please note that stairs are steep. Guests can relax on the sunny, outdoor patio overlooking the garden.

Cosy, two bedroom cottage with a veranda overlooking the picturesque Valley of the Waters, nestled at the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. Perfect to feed the birds and watch the sunset then, in winter, read a book or snuggle up by the fire. The Nature Trail runs along the bottom of the property and The Conservation Hut, that famous hub of the bushwalks of Wentworth Falls, is a beautiful 11 minute stroll away. We're also on the 685 bus route or a 20 minute walk from the station.

The space
The beautiful front garden is usually full of flowers but it is the sweeping view of the Australian bush from the verandah that make this place very special, complete with King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, native doves and Kookaburras. We have just put new carpets in the bedrooms and 100 year old tallowood (from the Robertson Chocolate factory in Cleveland St) in the main room.
We provide quality linen and towels, cooking essentials, a collection of books and games, a TV and DVD player as well as some firewood. (Please note that while we supply a little wood, you will need to buy a bag of wood from the Falls grocery shop opposite Wentworth Falls station or Mitre 10 or Bunnings plus some extra fire starters to enjoy the fire fully.) There are electric blankets on the beds, and if you don't want to use the fire there are two oil space heaters.

We find Fire Starters the most effective, so grab some of those too!
(Please take great care not to force the fireplace door shut as this breaks the glass which is very expensive to replace.)

This sunny, fully renovated, self-contained luxury cottage overlooking a beautiful cold climate garden has everything you need for a relaxing break. The separate living room with a gas log fire, leads to a queen bedroom. A full kitchen and large bathroom/laundry completes the space. The space
Our cottage is best suited to a couple, although we can accommodate up to two additional people on the double sofa bed.

The gas log fire provides instant heat and great atmosphere in winter. We also have reverse cycle air conditioning. The wrap around verandah is a relaxing place to enjoy the garden setting.

For entertainment there is a large screen UHD smart TV with NETFLIX and a range of books and board games. WiFi is included. The television is centrally located in the cottage and swivels to each side so that you can view it from either the living room or dining side of the cottage and even from the bedroom.

We provide tea, Nespresso pod coffee, milk and other basic refreshments so that you won't need to get to the shops when you first arrive.

Amenities include full kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine, dryer, heated towel rail and outdoor clothesline for your exclusive use.

The cottage is completely separate from the main house where we live.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole cottage and the garden. There is a separate driveway entrance and off street parking. If you're a golfer, we can provide secure storage for your clubs or cart.

Noise Policy
The cottage is located in a quiet residential street so strict noise regulations must be adhered to. Please be considerate and respectful when entering and leaving the property and no loud noise after 10pm. Strictly no parties or gatherings to be held at the property.

Historical cosy home, backing onto the famous world heritage, Blue Mountains Great Cliff walk, previously known as the Charles Darwin walk. It is the perfect getaway with family, friends or a romantic escape. The avid naturist and bushwalker will be not be disappointed either. A short stroll to the quaint village and station.

Ryeworth is a one level home with no internal steps and the main bedroom (1) has an ensuite, or soak in the claw foot bath.

All beds are fitted with an electric blanket and all rooms have extra blankets in cupboards.

You will be able to enjoy reading a book in the book corner of the dining room, or listen to some vinyl records or the radio.

Enjoy a slow combustion fire or simply flick a switch for central heating. There is free firewood on the back verandah by the back door.

Should you wish to stroll down to the village, you will find number of quaint and delightful cafes; a funky grocer, the famous Schwartz Pastry Cafe or the book cafe will surely delight you. If you feel very adventurous you could do a hike to the famous Conservation Hut across the valley of waters walk.

Don't forget to check out the beautiful falls and if you are here in the summer months and fancy a dip in nature, you’ll find some water holes and caves along the Jamison River which run behind Ryeworth, along the Great Cliff walk, an approx 45-60 min walk.

There are many delightful spots along the Jamison river if you fancy a picnic or take a drive to the other side, to Wentworth falls Lake where there is also a short path along the lake which is wheelchair accessible.

Should you wish to stay in and enjoy a movie, you will find cables at the back of the TV to which you can connect your iphone or computer to stream your favourite shows/movies with access to wifi.

You are most welcome to use the BBQ IN the COOLER MONTHS ONLY. You will need to supply your own charcoal.

Please clean the BBQ to avoid an extra charge. You will find all you need in the kitchen cupboard under the sink.

Take a snooze in the hammock on the front verandah, or just relax with a cup of tea.

You will find the washing machine and dryer in the laundry which is in the separate PRIVATE building "Wendover" at the back of the house- the far right door.
